The flight of beers was really good(IPAs), as well as the new flavors of ice cream we tried- Buttered bread/ Nutella & PB cookie! Great service, family-friendly & of course delicious ice cream!“

“Pretty good pizza place with many different types of pizza. Not the usual pepperoni or different toppings, but special things like Al pastor or Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken Pizza. We called in to ask one of the workers to see if the pizza had certain allergens, and glad they were able to let us know that there wasn’t egg in the two pizzas we ordered, but didn’t know that the Al Pastor would be spicy. I think adding certain symbols on the menu, or asking the customer would definitely help, to make sure, not everyone has the same tolerance. We ordered the Taiwanese , Al Pastor Pizza, the elote tots and the BBQ Chicken Wings. The BBQ sauce was really tasty, but the chicken felt overcooked. It was quite nice to taste different types of specialty pizzas and overall we didn’t enjoy the food. The place is not that big, but it isn’t made for you to dine in. It is quite nice to have some arcade games as you wait, and we learned that this business does also have another location.“

“Uhm why did it take so long for me to try this place? The pizza is so good!!! Then crispy it doesn’t flop when you hold it up! Reminds me of a New York style pizza! They sell individual slices, but they didn’t have the flavor that we wanted! We tried the white gurll with a side of hot honey and ranch! WOW! It was really good ! It looks like they share seating with the brewery next-door so there’s a lot of space to sit with some arcade games!! Definitely definitely coming back! Great service too ?“

Nova Brewing Company Brewery • $
1580 W San Bernardino Rd Unit H, Covina

“I have been meaning to come to Nova for some time. They are the only Sake brewing company I am aware of in SoCal. We had to call to them to get the front gate opened.I ordered the sake flight which had 6 glasses. It was plenty to drink for a tasting. I particularly liked the cherry flavored one, peach flavored one & the unfiltered one. All of the sake is cold and they were all smooth. I bought two bottles to take home. Unfortunately they were out of the cherry. Next time, I will try the beer flight and get a bottle of the cherry Sake. They allow you to bring outside food so we got takeout dinner and enjoyed it with our sake and beer.“

“This was a very chill place. Good comfort and finger food. We got there too late to order from the menu. They stop serving meals I think at 10-10:30pm because we tried ordering and the waitress said that only shareable finger foods were available. And then they stop serving food all together at 11:30pm so make sure you get there early enough to order from the menu. I'm not sure if they have the same band playing or have different bands every Saturday. It was the first time we went. The band was good and although it was very loud, we still enjoyed it. All in all we had a great time. 18% Gratuity is added in your note on parties of 6+.“

“Finally made it to this new local favorite and my only regret is not having been here sooner. We didn't have dinner reservations but made it there early enough (before 6) where they have plenty of tables on a Friday night. I was in the mood for a cocktail that wasn't sweet, and the server recommended just the right one. I don't remember the exact name of it but it has cucumber and a hint of agave. I think tequila is the primary ingredient but it's not a margarita. It was refreshing and offered just the right hint of sweetness. My husband who is a big fan of Old Fashioned drinks had one and boy, was it good! No, it wasn't good, it was delicious! I don't like Old Fashioneds but this one was absolutely incredible. We will return just for the drinks. The food itself was delicious, even though it has minimal offerings for vegetarians. The Impossible Burger is the only choice, but it was cooked well and the fries were good. Our other party member had a traditional burger and raved about it as well.We found out they have live entertainment every night, starting at around 9 p.m., so we will return for that.Overall, this is a fabulous place with an impressive bar, good food offerings, excellent service and an overall good vibe. Looking forward to returning.Vegetarian options: The Impossible Burger.“

“Places like Georgia's original bun and burger are a dying breed. First things first when coming here, come hungry. I've never left this establishment not feeling like I needed to loosen a button or two. Everything at this spot is also homemade and delicious. I've yet to try anything that is subpar. My personal recommendations are the burgers, on my last stop I had the pastrami burger with which I added cheese and grilled onions. Also a word of warning as well this joint has a large group of regular patrons so also come patient as there is limited space that may require you to wait. Wholeheartedly recommend this old fashion diner that I fervently hope continues to provide us Covina locals with delicious comfort food to imbibe in for decades to come.“
