“I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try my best. Food? Amazing! Perfect amount of seasoning and the portions are huge! And this is coming from a big dude. For the appetizers, my favorites were the Kashk E'bademjan (Eggplant Delight), Potato Salad, and the Hummus! They have more selections, but this is what I was able to try. I hear all are great! For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. I can't thank Pasha and the crew for making our group outing a success. Overall? I'll be going back and I hope that you add this restaurant to your list of 'go to' places to dine at. You will not be disappointed, I promise you. (Unless your attitude stinks or you're not willing to try new food ) Pasha again, thank you so much for the hospitality. I already told Fatemeh that I'll be coming back again. سپاسگزارم“

“I love this place. I've been coming here for years and the food is so delicious. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner on my last visit and when I tell you he's a gem of a human being.... super kind and generous. It was a quiet evening and I was visiting with a friend from back east and he was so incredibly kind to us. Full of wisdom and a deep passion for people. The food is authentically prepared with so much TLC. Can't wait to go back! It's also BYOB.The terrace is warm and cozy. The traditional Persian music is wonderful as well.“

“We live just down the street from here and it’s one of our favorite places to pick up dinner. We often joke that we could blindly point at anything on the menu to order and would be happy with it. Quality is amazing and pricing is more than fair for the amount of food you get. Highly recommend this place to anyone!!!“

“The experience exceeded my expectations. I came in just a few minutes before closing, and the chef came out from behind and kindly took my order for chicken kebab. He offered two versions boneless or with bone I chose with bone and after I already placed my order I decided to add on a chicken Koobideh. He said that would be 20 minutes, so I relaxed and enjoyed the smell of my made to order dinner being cooked. When I saw it prepared, I opened it up with the chef and he gave me a big smile with pride. I told my wife I'm bringing home dinner. I didn't even take a bite until I got back home 60 miles away and we enjoyed every every every everything about it. I recommend Café Aly.“

“ust dined at Shekarchi in downtown LA, and it’s safe to say it’s the best Persian restaurant in Southern California. The cuisine is of unmatched quality and deliciousness, blending authentic Persian flavors seamlessly. The Koobideh and Shishlik come highly recommended for those looking to indulge in the true essence of Persian culinary excellence. The atmosphere of Shekarchi sets it apart, offering a romantic vibe with an American twist, making it the perfect introduction for non-Persians keen on experiencing Middle Eastern food for the first time in an inviting, familiar environment. Shekarchi is undeniably a must-visit for a memorable culinary journey.“

“I loved the atmosphere, and the service was great, liked the entertainment. But the food was terrible….I called the manager the next day and started with , how great the service was, liked the entertainment but when I told her that the food wasn’t good she got defensive and said I was the only person who didn’t liked the food, we were party of 4 and we ordered different dishes but none of us liked our choices…I didn’t wanted to write a review, that’s why I called first … I believe constructive criticism makes a difference but she wasn’t interested .She apologized though but I didn’t wanted an apology just to give the my honest opinion!“

“The most delicious bread is getting baked freshly from the oven everyday here and you're missing out on it?!! Come here for the bread but stay for delicious food. My all time favorite is Kalle pache but the bread is to die for, just saying!“
“My in-laws are Persian, so I'm fortunate to know the satisfaction and wonder that comes from home cooked Persian food. And Sogol's Plate provides that authentic, passed down from one generation to the next, prepared all day, made with lots of love and intention, homey and delicious, type of Persian food. On the menu this weekend was the zereshk polo with chicken, tachin with chicken, and ghormeh sabzi with beef. They even threw in some free tadig which was such a nice touch! Everything was divine. However, the zereshk polo and tachin absolutely stole the show. So aromatic, fresh, sweet, flavorful and delicious. I couldn't get enough of those. I ravenously rushed from one bite to the next until my plate was empty. So bomb! If you order for pickup, then this is such a well priced meal too. And the owners are beyond friendly, patient and kind. We went back and forth on instagram trying to accommodate a date, order, and time. They were so helpful and receptive every step of the way. And when I arrived, they carried the food all the way to my car. So thoughtful. The only constructive thing I can say is that I wish there was more meat. I eat a lot of protein (shoot for 170g a day), so I would have liked a heftier portion of chicken and beef. But I eat way more meat than the average person. I'm sure that these protein portions would satisfy the majority of the population. All in all, this is a 5 star meal service. My Persian fiancée and I both highly recommend Sogol's Place. We'll for sure be back for more!“

“I stumbled upon Shayan Express Restaurant, and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be! The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to make us feel special. Now, let's talk about the food – an explosion of flavors that awakened my taste buds. The lamb kebabs were tender and flavorful, and the aromatic rice dishes were heavenly. The ambiance was charming, with Persian carpets and traditional decor creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I left with a happy heart and a full belly, and I'll be returning soon!“

“Ring new to LA I've been trying to find a quality affordable Mediterranean place and NAAB fit the bill perfectly. I got their Greek salad with chicken and added falafel and everything was on point. The salad was made of fresh ingredients, the dressing was a great mix of oil and spices. And the Hummus portion was huge and tasty. I also love that their pita bread is thin and fresh so it doesn't feel like I'm eating a whole pita with every triangular section. Highly recommended for the items I got.“

“I love the chicken kabob plate! The chicken is so flavorful and cooked well, but still juicy and tender. The grilled onions and veggies are delicious, as is the rice with sumac. The portion size is enough for 2 meals, which I love! Love their tzatziki as well. The baklava is sweet, but good. Great place to order from. Staff is nice and friendly.“

“Everything was FRESH and FRESHLY- MADE, TASTY, and DELICIOUS at Sherman Oaks Kabob Village. Even the pita bread is made fresh from scratch. Nothing is pre-cooked, processed, or from packages. It was a bit of a wait (20 minutes), but it's worth having everything cooked while you are there. The spiced tea is freshly-brewed and wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised to have such a nice meal in such a small strip mall restaurant. It was my first time there but I am sure I will be back soon to try other dishes.Parking: Parking in a strip mall with a lot of other restaurants and businesses depends on what time and day you are there.“

“I came here to celebrate with my friend what is the Persian New Year or Nowruz as it's called. It falls on the Spring Equinox and it's customary to eat fish and green rice called Sabzi polo. We ordered the fried white fish which is the most tasty and popular! Great service and friendly staff. The food is fresh and incredible! Ambiance is casual and I love the tanoor they have to bake the bread with, the freshly baked bread they give you with butter is so special and delicious.“

“Taste of Tehran was my first time eating at a restaurant in Tehrangeles, and it was an awesome choice. This was definitely one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants I've been to in LA. Everything was so great. And yes, I ate a lot of food on the first day here. I started off with some of the stews that included gormeh sabzi, the gheyme, and ash reshteh, which were all very tasty. The surprise hit to me was the Lentil Quinoa Salad. Seriously, one of the best salads I've ever had. It was sweet, refreshing, and savory all at the same time. No words to describe. And then the meats: the koobideh and soltani plate, just fabulous, along with that lentil rice. I can honestly say that Persians make the best rice out of all Middle Eastern countries! Even the barberry rice was amazing. Never had a rice this sweet and fruity before! Overall, an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Don't be fooled by the looks of this place. It looks like a quick, over the counter order type of restaurant, but the food is top notch. Even Anthony Bourdain has been here! I shot a Youtube video of my experience here, which you can see on my Youtube channel, Rockstar Eater.“

“I own a Pilates studio down the street on Robertson (Pilates Body Beverly Hills) and I have been here with my friends and clients for lunch and dinner. The owner is very sweet and basically prepares the most delicious home made Persian food for you in the kitchen as you order it. I love the tadig and the kebabs are great too. She is also a pastry chef, so the desserts are really, really good there too.“

“Kurosh was a great find, a small place but very good food and friendly service. We had the chicken breast grilled wrap and the ground beef wrap. Both items were served right from the grill , vegetables were fresh and the sauces they mix with the wrap were super good! Prices were reasonable. The flavor of the meats was really good. I highly recommend this place for a great, fresh, and healthy meal!“

“I really love this place and esp so since it is a food court vendor at the mall and by far the freshest, healthiest choice In the Westfield CC. I love their Salmon kabob but wish they had an add on like say additional salmon for a price bc I'd pay the uncharge. I'm always left with a lot of rice. I love they give you lemon and charred jalapeños and tomatoes but I'd TRULY love if they offered more like regular peppers, onions, etc also for add ons. If they did a veggie kabob they could offer this. I imagine jalapeños are not everyone's cup of tea. Still I LOVE their kabobs.“
