“As always, dinner at Milky Way was special. Fish and Chips, Mini Chimichangas, Seafood Chowder, and Impossible Cheeseburger all exceptional. Service by Takiya was great again(my wife was able to switch raw onions to carmelized onion and American cheese to Swiss cheese.). My mother chose the chili to start fish and chips rather than salad options. Ambiance? Like going to your favorite aunt for a meal.“

“Jeff's Gourmet Sausage Factory is one of the jewels of our neighborhood. The food is delicious, constantly so, and the attendants are always kind and outgoing. Portions are large without encouraging gluttony- which is seriously possible given how good the food is! Substitutions are welcomed. When you think Jeff's, think delicious.“

“This restaurant is the Epitome of Taco paradise! They have the most amazing meat, it's so fresh and delicious. The restaurant is in an interesting location, but it's so fun! The staff is very attentive and gracious. You order from the monitors on the wall and they bring the food to you. Their details are impeccable, they have to go dishes out for you to grab if you need them and various condiments and such. Go early, parking is just street parking and that's very rare to find. Also, their birthday celebration is very cute! Go for your Bday and try it out.“

“Me and my friends went to Holly Grill Food Truck last wednesday. I must tell you their shawarma and chicken sandwich left me thoroughly impressed. The shawarma was expertly grilled, boasting succulent slices of marinated meat that were bursting with flavor. Each bite was a harmonious blend of aromatic spices and a satisfying balance of juiciness and char. The chicken sandwich was equally exceptional, featuring tender and well-seasoned chicken complemented by fresh toppings that added a delightful crunch. “Okay, I literally never leave reviews but Pizza Station deserves one.It’s always consistently great, and coming from NY- we take pizza seriously and pizza station is one of our favorites- and the Mexican menus is OFF THE CHARTS GOOD.The yummy sandwich is one of our favorites with tuna it’s especially good.The Mexican bowl or basket is amazing, the nachos are so good, and they have the best burritos!The staff is always friendly, honest and it’s just such a please to give them business.One of the best pizza and dairy Mexican places in LA- I say it’s the OG.Our go to order: green olive pizza, Mexican Basket, nachos (with the extras), fries, and a yummy sandwich.“

“The 33oz cowboy steak we ordered was amazing and cooked to perfection. The potato skins never came with the steak and only after we asked the server did we get them... however they were over cooked and extremely oily. Our server seemed to be overwhelmed by the amount of tables she had to serve and it looked like the restaurant was short staffed.“

When you enter the store, there will be tables on your right followed by a great-looking ready-to-scoop ice cream selection under the glass a big menu and an attentive staff member to help you make a selection and ring you up. Take your time filling a plastic bag with unique homemade candy from around the world. My favorites are flavors like saffron marzipan white chocolate with pistachio and rose. Yum!Order a coffee drink, milkshake, sandwich or slice of cake and take a seat to enjoy it or make your kiss and coworker's day by showing up with a platter of delicious desserts. I chose to buy my friends some candy at nostalgic Munchies because I remembered something special about the checkout from years ago. At the register, you can donate your spare change to a few different very special charities such as humanitarian aid for victims of terrorist attacks and hate crimes. “Emuna Catering went above and beyond... and then they went above and beyond that!!!I'm an Azeri Jew from the former Soviet Union. Not only is our cuisine very specific but our culinary style is vastly different from what catering companies are accustomed to in this country. We redefine what the term "family style" means.On top of a loaded cocktail hour, we were looking for a caterer that could provide 12 cold appetizers to each table, a few hot appetizers, and 5-6 different entrees that would satisfy meat-eaters, pescatarians, and vegetarians alike. And of course, on top of it all, it had to be kosher. I spent many stressful weeks talking to different caterers. None of them took the time to truly understand what I was asking them to do. And none of them could deliver.Enter John. John delivered on every level. We had an abundance of food. Shawarma. Chicken kabob. Shish kabob. Kubideh. Tacos. Avocado egg rolls. Moraccan cigars. And that's just cocktail hour.  The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We had so much beautiful food waiting for us at our table after the ceremony concluded. I'm tempted to list everything here but it would make this review far too long. Nobody was hungry for one second at any point throughout the night and the food was amazing.There was also a desert room at our wedding that could have doubled as an art installation. The fruit was cut and assorted beautifully across the tables. There were so many different types of pastries. We had a tea station and an espresso station, both of which had a server who showed the most generous hospitality with their spirit. Everyone keeps talking to us about the desert room. My aunt just called me yesterday to rave about the wedding, specifically the food and the deserts. She told me it felt like we were all relaxing with everyone we love in a beautiful home that we created.Meanwhile, the bar at our wedding was outstanding. The bartenders were having fun with our guests. At one point, they brought out a tray of shots to the dance floor with bottles that had VIP sparklers attached. I had no idea they were going to do that. It was a blast. If that's not your thing, I'm sure they would read the room accordingly. But they understood our vibe and added a lot to our celebration.I'm telling you, John didn't deliver, he OVER-delivered.I probably called him 50 times throughout the course of the wedding planning and he always made time for me. My wife and I could not be happier with the decision we made to go with Emuna.THANK YOU JOHN AND EMUNA!!!“

“I fully enjoyed this breakfast! The wait was not very long (we were here new years eve), but we didn't mind (we checked out some of the classic cars in the lot across the side street). We got street parking without difficulty. The food was phenomenal - I had the creamy green shakshuka and also shared the traditional shakshuka served over their hummus which was perfection and shared the lox toast which was also delicious. Coffee was perfect. Service was excellent.“

“Food was amazing. We got the buffalo chicken burger and chicken tenders. The food was super super good. We placed the order through Uber eats so don't know what the place inside looks like and also not sure about the service. But as far as the food goes, it was excellent. Also, it's KOSHER :)“

“Stopped in for a later lunch after strolling around the LA Zoo for a few hours. Unfortunately, they were out of beef shawarma (and don't serve it with lamb), so Jim G. and I opted to share the Rib Eye Plate. We had to wait about 8 minutes or so for the rib eye to cook, which is totally fine. The plate is massive! All the sides on it, plus eggplant and fries on another plate. We also opted to order a little falafel to taste and they were very tasty! The rib eye was but there wasn't really a lot of it there. I realize it's an expensive meat, but the $30 plate cost is comparably more expensive than the other meats. We shared a bottle of red wine ($37) and chilled out with our friends, who all enjoyed their food, too. Huge parking lot in the back, with just a short walk to get to the front of the shopping center, where Tel Aviv is.“

“I cant believe I have never heard of this place, it has to be one of the best kosher delis I've had outside on New York! I stumbled upon this place because I had a meeting a few blocks away and had to check it out because of its super old school looking storefront. If something looks like it's been around that long, you know it's doing something right! Its a small basic little kosher deli with sandwiches, deli meat, fresh made knishes and other Jewish pastries. I just wanted a little snack, and got a chicken knish and it was amazing, just like my grandmother used to make them! While he was heating it up, we chatted for a bit and he told me the shop has been there since 1942 i believe and that he's the 3rd generation owner. He's the sweetest old man. He also offered me a sample of his lox that he makes himself with no nitrates, along with a chicken tender. The lox was some of the best I've ever had, it wasn't too salty and was super buttery and melted in your mouth. The chicken tender was great as well. If your looking for a great old school no frills kosher deli, look no further, this is your spot!“

On par with Moran bakery in Hollywood, FL which is the only place in the US I've ever had French bakery items this good. “Shilohs has been our go to restaurant for ever. It is great for any occasion, you can go for casual events, or to celebrate special events. They a big back room for private events. The service is excellent, the waiters and busboys are very attentive.Their food is really good, my favorites are, the tart flambé, chicken wings, and sliders.A good raw bar too.The steaks are the best I’ve ever had.The desserts are very tasty, you’ve got to try their pecan pie, and Shiloh’s macaroon. ?Vegetarian options: Although it is a steakhouse they have several vegetarian appetizers. And a few vegetarian main courses. “I have never been here before and stopped in for a bagel. I grabbed a croissant as well. The croissant was one of the best croissants I've ever had. Delicous!!! The bagel was good as well. “Run by a lovely man who has an interesting history (read the newspaper article on the wall). Polite staff. Cool Israeli travel posters from yesteryear as decorations. Lovely ambiance, get the impression the owner knows a lot of regulars which is a good sign.We were from out of town and wanted to get lunch to take to Disney, so went in and got a range of filled pittas and a bag of mini pittas. Went back again a few days later because even the kids liked it. We recommend all the pittas!The mini pittas (sold in multibags) are the softest ever, and I'm including Just Baked from Borehamwood in the comparison! They lasted soft and fluffy for days.Filled pittas were large, evenly and generously filled, and really hit the spot. Coffee also good.“
