I just came to this restaurant with my family (9 people) we ordered a variety of dishes including the braised short rib, soup dumplings, color soup dumplings, lobster har gow, beef potstickers, quinoa and corn rice, soft shell crab, and char siu pork. All the food was excellent! I was really surprised by the quality of the food and the service based on the “mixed” reviews on here. My friends and I came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We had previously made a reservation and were seated upon arrival. Koi Palace here has two different restaurants: the full scale one & the express. The express restaurant is in the front. The regular restaurant is towards the back next to the Thai restaurant. This is a branch of Koie Palace. The environment is decent, and the service is good. Compared to the Milpitas branch, the storefront is much smaller. The food is decent, classic Cantonese cuisine. However, compared to other branches, there are fewer choices of live seafood, no aquarium, no crabs, only 2 or 3 types of live fish available.
