He was so attention and helpful! He ever saved me from an unfortunate disaster. Luckily he was quick and was able to save the day!!So since we like y'all so much we're back again to eat! “Wow I was blown away! The workers are extremely nice. They gave us potatoes and corn on the house because we mis read what the meal comes with. We insisted they add it to our tab but they refused. That enough says a lot. The sauces are Aahhhmazzzingg. Almost like a glaze like sauce. So much flavor. Everything was fresh and tasteful. Recommend 10000 percent !”

“I've gone here at least 10 times before writing this review. No one has a better Dan Dan noodle than dough zone, hands down. The spice and the flavor and portion are all unique to dough zone. Everywhere else I've gone has peanut butter noodles. Their XLBs are reasonably priced for 8 pieces and consistent in quality. I know I'll be happy with these XLBs no matter when I order the (morning, midday, night), which can't be said to other places. Love their pig ear, Q-Bao, wontons, steamed and fried dumplings--literally everything on their menu. My absolute favorite thing about dough zone is that I can order many dishes and get variety without spending too much or ordering too much (quantity). For the ambiance, it has a sleek/modern look, so it feels clean. One of my favorite places to go!”

“Great atmosphere for a date night! We ordered the salmon tartare, rose tteokbokki, and kfc cauliflower for appetizers. All of them were great but I was most impressed by the tteokbokki!We followed with the short ribs and the basque cheesecake dessert. They were good but the appetizers were more impressive. I was also disappointed that they no longer did the sweet potato chiffon cake :(”

“My new fav brunch! Loved the food. I had a scramble with bacon and fruit as a side, and it was perfect! I also shared a few bites of millionaire’s bacon from a friend, unique and yummy! Sadly I couldn’t have the side of brussel sprouts and potatoes (looked SO good), but the fruit was perfect.Parking: I parked down the street since the lot was full. Busy place and rightly so!”

“I didn't know it was such a hot place. Surprisingly, there were so many people waiting in line. They had many types of coffee with unique flavors added. Because it was afternoon, I chose chai latte instead of coffee, but the London Fog with lavender and Tokyo Latte with strawberry flavor that my friends chose were really refreshing! “Came here for their good variety chasen to buy and I ended up getting the chasen if suikaen! It is one of the cheapest ones in the store for $38. The person who gave me the chasen was super nice enough to explain how to wash and use it. I also got the matcha latte and the recipe is the exact same as the San Jose location, rich in matcha and creamy in dairy! It was super busy when I came here, but other than that, Izumi Matcha is by far my favorite matcha places to go to in the Bay Area!”

“HOLY COW! Dish n Dash was a breath of fresh air. My favorite aspect of Dish n Dash is always their plethora of dips like the garlic dip, roasted red pepper walnut they are all so good and pair well with everything. I got their pulled sumac chicken which in my opinion is their best protein! I got it with frekeh, hummus, and red pepper walnut dip. The frekeh had the perfect texture that complemented the tender flavorful chicken! The chicken was insanely flavorful and it was a cool red color as well! The red pepper walnut dip was so good it was a little tangy and quite creamy as well with the hummus they were both so flavorful but each was a bit too oily. OVERALL I definitely reccomend and the prices are not too exorbitant with the portions being large. It was unique and super tasty so you should definitely give it a try!”

“The Indian flavor Pizzas are really good. We have ordered a bunch of variety over time and all the pizzas have been super tasty. My favorite is Achari Gobi and panner/chicken Tikka. really like their spicy curry pizza too. We have also ordered a bunch of Pizzas both Indian flavors and regular ones like Chicken and bacon on white sauce, Meat lovers for my office team lunches. Everyone liked it a lot(Mix of all nationals), and it has become our go-to place for ordering lunch for team events. It is good that they have Vegan and Gluten-free options too to accommodate people with different dietary requirements.”

“Updating my older review: I've been coming here for years, since it's a reliable place with fair prices and quality food. (Sometimes I eat here once a week when I'm in town for work). In recent months, though, I've noticed a subtle change. The tomatillo soup (a longtime favorite) is now thinner, with less flavor. I've still been ordering it, but it's not what it was. And now, tonight, the bowl had substantially less soup- about 3/4 of what it usually is. And I also noticed the burrito was a little bit smaller. I'm always satisfied and don't get hungry for the rest of the night after eating here, but not this time. Shrinkflation? Hmmm. I give 4 stars, but I hope they continue the great quality and portions that I've grown to rely on at Aqui. If so, I'll gladly give them 5 stars again.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of families with kids here.”

“The service deserves 5 stars. Everyone was nice, friendly and attentive. From the person in the front who sat us down, the bartender who made our drinks and everyone who helped us during our visit. Joe was amazing throughout our whole experience. -The missing 1 star is for the steak. I debated with 3 or 4 stars (more 1.5 but can't really do a .5) so 4 it is. As a lot of other reviews mentioned the steak was bland and that is definitely true.The portion was a let down as well, reminded me of Texas roadhouse or even an outback when they served more types of steaks a long time ago. With that said definitely enjoyed my steaks and chops at Texas Roadhouse more. I was expecting more steak for the price and some flavor. None of the sauce helped the steaks :( -Popcorn crab was amazing. Mixture of big and small lump of crab. We enjoyed this appetizer a lot with the aioli. This was my favorite. -For lunch you get an amuse Bouche (Dinner gets bread service). It was veggie soup and a croissant. The flavor of the soup was good coming from someone who hates veggies. Wish it was a little bigger portion. -Salmon was good. -Skip the sweet corn, it wasn't sweet and tasted more like can. -Truffle fries is our second favorite. Not too overpowering and pretty crunchy. I may not recommend this place for steak based on our first visit but worth the visit for other items on their menu. Will most likely come back some other time and try something else. Interested to try the 50/50 burger. What could go wrong with something made of 50% bacon :)”

“Such a nice and big restaurant! Loved the covered patio, plenty of heating so it's not too bad on colder nights. Plus it was fun looking at all the doggos. The restaurant reminded me of a Montana's or Kelsey's Roadhouse back in Canada.Menu was plentiful and has lots of options for friends who were vegetarian. The beer was also great, the Ankle Buster was the best glass I had in awhile and it was only $5 for the 16oz. The food was good. I got the pulled pork but the pork felt a little stale. It was tossed in a good BBQ sauce though. Friends enjoyed their dishes of Thai Noodles, Fried Chicken dinner and Veggie Burger.Overall was a nice experience and can't wait to return again someday to try the other options (and get another glass of Ankle Buster)”

“Stopped by to pick up a few sandwiches since I’ve been craving banh mi. Staff was kind and welcoming and the inside was well kept and clean. Ordered the BBQ pork with everything and added a fried egg since that’s my go to. Bread was perfectly crunchy but not too hard that it hurts like mouth like some other places, and the flavors of the pickled vegetables and the pork were amazing! Definitely finished the whole sandwich and wanted more. Will be back next time to try the other varieties!”

Great taste but eating environment is pretty dated.Meat ball, spicy pork blood and tofu, peanut with anchovy, pork tongue. All these are my favorite.”

“You can't get better than this. The place is super clean. Easy parking. Friendly lady at the counter. And the Gyro I ordered was the best I've ever had. AMAZING! I ordered the Super Gyro. Omg. So delicious!!! Added... Greek fries are wonderful! But my gyro on a Monday evening was dry... the meat also tasted left over/ not fresh... and crazy salty. “Yum Yum Yum! My go-to place for New York City style pizza when I'm in the area. It's not easy to replicate the New York City style pizza and good places like this are really hard to find. They do an amazing job of making some of the best pizza around and just like what I used to eat all the time in the good old Big Apple. The "212" part of the name brought me here, and they've always lived up very well to their hype. Really nice people working there too. I make a point to stop by whenever I'm around. There is no substitute for New York Pizza when you're in the greater San Jose area!”

“My family and I have been going to this noodle restaurant for almost 5 years. The food has always been great, and the quality has never changed. My kids love the braised beef noodle soup and the fried peanut appetizer. The noodles are very chewy and pleasant to eat, and the soup is always flavorful and not too salty. The food is also priced very reasonably. Although, they only accept cash, but I don't find that too much of an issue because there is a Walgreens close by with an ATM. Overall, highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: The staff are very nice and friendly to kids, and there are many menu options that are not spicy and great for kids.”

“This place is definitely less well known and slightly more difficult to find but it absolutely delivers. The overall interior is cute and peaceful and the service is good. I personally love twice-cooked pork, especially when it is served in a pot where the flame continues to run. The flavor of the pork fat that gets rendered in the pot permeates into the cauliflower and makes the entire dish taste excellent. This restaurant captures the essence of the dish. Their fried rice is also a cut above the rest. I'm not sure how they do it, but it certainly has more flavor than restaurants elsewhere. All meats that we ordered (I don't remember what they were called) were very good as well. I'd say this is a very accurate representation of Hunan food. It is authentic and delicious. Come here and see for yourself!”

The atmosphere from the decoration perspective was fine. Upon entry, however, there was a bit of fishy (?) smell that I had to acclimate to. This is a place I would come back.”

“We came for dinner on a Saturday and were seated right away, nice service. We got a lion king roll and the sashimi medium (20 pcs of sashimi). Both were delicious, and the sashimi was fresh and great quality. We especially enjoyed the salmon sashimi. Total bill was about $70 before tip, and I’d say for the quality it was definitely worth it. Less expensive than some of the lower quality sushi I’ve had in the Bay Area. We will be back again!”

“We tried the A2 Taiwanese chicken cutlet and A3 basil popcorn chicken. Both hit the spot and had a delightfully crunchy exterior which contrasted the flavorful, juicy chicken inside. I've been missing Taiwan and this fulfilled my craving for street food. I thought $12.28 was a bit pricey for the chicken cutlet, but they have large portions and cut it up in a box for you so it's easy to eat. I'll definitely be back for more.”

“Amazing ox tail udon. Very tender. I added a poached egg to it. Broth clean and not salty. We also had chicken karaage and fried whole squid, which was also tender and flavorful. If you are into udon, this is the place to get something that is different from the others. This place gets busy so it's a good idea to get there at opening.”

I pretty much stick to the to the tonkatsu ramen (I prefer thin noodles), the broth is creamy and deeply flavorful, the charshu is delicious, I kind feel like I could take or leave the spinach but it’s nice and fresh. The crispy chicken (Karaage) is bomb.The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I’ve had mixed experiences picking up…insert minor rant: They follow some of the requests in the order, but often miss things I’ve paid extra for, last time it was corn and garlic, this time it was charshu and garlic. I caught the garlic and asked for one and the guy helping me first looked in my bag, then checked my receipt while saying “did you order garlic”, and didn’t apologize when he saw I had. I felt like he thought I was trying scam them, when they’re the ones that made the mistake. I asked if I could have 2, given that it’s free in the restaurant and I had missed out last time (though I didn’t mention that, didn’t seem necessary), but he refused. The missing charshu was just a bummer too. Neither are a huge deal, but just takes away from the experience a little, will stick to dining in going forward.”

“My first time coming here. They offer great variety off their menu. They also have lunch specials on their insta or FB page. I opt for lunch special, bento box. Cost is fair $24 out the door. Plentiful of food for 1 person. I wasn't able to finish all of it. The miso soup has lots of umami flavor and not just boring blah miso I've had in many Japanese restaurant. The bento box I ordered were all great tasting. My favorite that stood out was the potato croquette. It was done perfect! None of the food was bad at all. I would come back again and try other dishes.”

We said our goodnight, but this a meet zone that has legs…it’s an older established neighborhood bar, a meeting zone. You should check it out. From my experience, there are a few ground rules, ready?Be good or be gone…No matter the size of your entourage, you don’t own this place, we are all transitioning throughout, so calm down.The deputy mayor of the town is at the end of the bar. The local doctor is at the bar, the local plumber that will fix all of your issues is at the bar, so tread lightly before you blow this place up with your outside view.Back to my original point of view, you don’t own this place with your ca$h, they own the history and you borrow it for a few hours. “My wife and I have been going to La Patisserie Bakery for years. We love their cookies, lemon bars, pastries, tarts, cakes, etc. Their version of the following... French Napoleon: Puff pastry filled with creamy custard and raspberry preserve (5/5). By far the best that we've had at any bakery. The flakiness of the pastry, but that layer of raspberry preserve has elevated their version above others. They have a similar one at SBF, but it's not the same. The flakey top is not as good as La Patisserie. Persian Napoleon: Layered puff pastry filled with light cream (4/5). Guava Cake: Guava filled and iced with guava mousse, topped with a thin layer of guava glaze (4/5). This is delicious, light, airy cake, with the creamy guava and glaze which is not too sweet. Burnt Almond: Vanilla and chocolate cake filled with Amaretto custard filling, iced with whipped cream, and topped with candied almonds (4/5). Black Forest: Chocolate cake filled with custard and cherry preserve, iced with whipped cream, and topped with Maraschino cherries (4/5).”

There was guy that brought us our food, which I wasnt expecting.Seating:There's inside and outside seating. Majority of the seats is metal.Parking:The restaurant shares with the plaza. Since I enjoy tiny and crunchy fries...all good as under the top pieces were all tiny, crispy pieces. Other customers may not like this as I do.The lobby was clean with only minor issues which were from very recent customers.My one issue was the restroom. It was sloppy and the sink was gross.I came here because there are no Jack In The Box restaurants from where I am from. They get your name, call you and make the final product with additional free toppings as you like. It was personal and nice.There are four types of soft serve ice creams at somi: matcha (green tea), horchata (rice milk), cookie & cream and ube. I tried ube, despite its artificial color, the taste was soft, creamy and not too sweet, taiyaki (fish shaped cake) was yummy. I liked it.Reasonable price. Friendly service. Spoke with the nice lady who took my order and she mentioned they have been there for about 4 months now and I can’t believe I haven’t come sooner! Tried an assortment of their tacos: al pastor (they ask if you’d like pineapple on it), pollo, chorizo, as well as asada. My favorite was the pastor and chorizo as those are my go to’s but the pollo and asada were also delicious. Can’t wait to try their other menu items but wanted to start with the tacos to see how it went, until next time!”

I only tried the green tea and vanilla fillings for the most part and I think they're about the same. They're not too sweet and have a nice texture. The green tea taste is super subtle. The cream puff itself is perfect. Crispy on the outside, nice and soft on but inside. Strawberry Shortcake Shell with Green Tea Filling -can't really taste the strawberry shortcake shell Green Tea Shell with Vanilla Filling Honey Butter Shell with Vanilla Filling Green Tea Shell with Green Tea Filling Dulce De Leche Shell with Vanilla Filling -surprisingly good. The caramel doesn't overpower anything. Honey Butter Shell with Green Tea Filling Favorite: Honey butter shell with Vanilla filling I just really like honey and the vanilla filling complimented it more than the matcha Service: Nothing too specific to say here. Service was good. There's no seating inside but there is seating outside. The store was nice, warm, and quiet while I waited.”

“This place is definitely less well known and slightly more difficult to find but it absolutely delivers. The overall interior is cute and peaceful and the service is good. I personally love twice-cooked pork, especially when it is served in a pot where the flame continues to run. The flavor of the pork fat that gets rendered in the pot permeates into the cauliflower and makes the entire dish taste excellent. This restaurant captures the essence of the dish. Their fried rice is also a cut above the rest. I'm not sure how they do it, but it certainly has more flavor than restaurants elsewhere. All meats that we ordered (I don't remember what they were called) were very good as well. I'd say this is a very accurate representation of Hunan food. It is authentic and delicious. Come here and see for yourself!”

“I just came to this restaurant with my family (9 people) we ordered a variety of dishes including the braised short rib, soup dumplings, color soup dumplings, lobster har gow, beef potstickers, quinoa and corn rice, soft shell crab, and char siu pork. All the food was excellent! I was really surprised by the quality of the food and the service based on the “mixed” reviews on here. I would definitely recommend coming to this place with large groups. The attention was spot on. They also provided hot tea consistently and checked in on us to see if we needed more drinks, water, etc.Would definitely come back here and hope more people are able to enjoy their food and service!”

“My first time in a BJ (i thought it was ben & jerry and nico thought it was gonna be a BJ costco thingy??) and it was such a cute late night trip ?? we got the strawberry pazooki, sugar cookie pazooki, chicken wings, and chicken soup. I only ate the pazookis so i cant speak on the other dishes (judge by the photos by yourself). The cookie was soooo perfectly doughy and crispy and the ice cream is like luxurious. “My wife and I have been going to La Patisserie Bakery for years. We love their cookies, lemon bars, pastries, tarts, cakes, etc. Their version of the following... French Napoleon: Puff pastry filled with creamy custard and raspberry preserve (5/5). By far the best that we've had at any bakery. The flakiness of the pastry, but that layer of raspberry preserve has elevated their version above others. They have a similar one at SBF, but it's not the same. The flakey top is not as good as La Patisserie. Persian Napoleon: Layered puff pastry filled with light cream (4/5). Guava Cake: Guava filled and iced with guava mousse, topped with a thin layer of guava glaze (4/5). This is delicious, light, airy cake, with the creamy guava and glaze which is not too sweet. Burnt Almond: Vanilla and chocolate cake filled with Amaretto custard filling, iced with whipped cream, and topped with candied almonds (4/5). Black Forest: Chocolate cake filled with custard and cherry preserve, iced with whipped cream, and topped with Maraschino cherries (4/5).”
