“While on our way to an event in Sunnyvale, my friend and I decided to look for a place to have a drink using Google Maps. That's when we stumbled upon the Duke of Edinburgh. Once we walked in, we were immediately drawn to the inviting and authentic English pub vibe. The red vinyl booths and cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. We took a seat at the bar, and despite there being only one bartender, he worked hard to give us great drinks and quick service. Although I didn't look closely at the menu, I made a mental note to keep this place in mind the next time I'm in Sunnyvale because I would like to try their food.“
“Visited for the first time on a playoff football Sunday. There were lots of screens (with low sound on - thank you!). Great selection of interesting beers, ciders, and non-alcoholic options. We got two different kinds of burgers - both were nice and well cooked. Fries were good. The menu looks good - we will be back to try some other items!“

“I was here working for a week and was eating fast food and my body was highly upset about the whole food situation. On our last day in town I found this place with great reviews.Bartender was great and answered all our questions, I finally went with the pork chop.It was easily hands down, the best pork chop I ever had the pleasure of enjoying. I love that it serves comfort food and alcohol at the same time rather than just bar food.Parking: Parking spots are tight if you have a big vehicle and usually crowded but people come and go very quickly so you can always find a spot opening up by circling around.“
“We had a very pleasant evening there playing darts and trivia, drinking and eating the shepherds pie, which was very good. It's a cozy place so don't go when it's crowded. It was a Thursday night so I recommend trying it on Thursdays. The bartender was very friendly.“
“I recently hosted an event for students here and it was fantastic! The space/venue, hospitality, service, and food were excellent. I could not get a hold of anyone by phone the week before our event since the pub was closed for summer hour and menu changeover. However, I was able to get connected with the pub manager via email and he immediately replied and was accommodating to my request to come 30 minutes prior to the pub opening to set up and order food. When I arrived the team started rearranging tables and setting up our space. The manager helped me order food and ensured the food was brought out right as our guests arrived. This event was very casual and we had only asked for help with ordering food in advance, but the whole team there went above and beyond our expectations! We would definitely host future events here and highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have an event or to just come to for a hangout!“
“Stopped by three times during my week stay in Palo Alto. Chill, laid-back bar with Pliny on tap. Why try anywhere else when you found something right up your alley? Will be back next time my travels bring me to Stanford. Didn’t have food but looks surprisingly good.“
“I came to visit Saratoga for my birthday. My favorite part of this mini vacation was going to this bar! It was such a fun night. Loved the vibe and ambiance! The bartender, Jessica, was super nice! Kurt, the owner (owns it with his wife), gave us fun facts about the bar. There was so much history about how this bar actually used to be a Bank (hence the name). Now it's a historical building. The bar had comfy couches and some cool booths to sit in. If you're in Saratoga going to catch a concert at the Mountain Winery or in the area visiting you have to check out this bar. If you want to affordable drinks and to hang out with some down to earth people you need to come here.“

“Peaceful and calm during COVID-19. Reservations only. Friend took me out to wine bar and ordered two charcuterie plates: smoked salmon and cheese plates. It is a cute date/ friend gathering place if you like to talk a lot without the hustle and bustle of the city.“
“Ate here a few weeks ago while family was in town, and was very happy with the experience. Just barely ordered before Happy Hour ended (or was it Super Happy Hour? I don't recall!). While I wasn't really all that hungry, I opted for the fish and chips, because it's my goto for testing this type of place on a first visit. It was HUGE fillet, with crispy breading that was properly fried. I almost couldn't finish it, which is odd for me. Could have used a lot more lemon, as one piece doesn't do much, but that's such a minor issue. The service was great, even though our server was literally on her first shift, and being shadowed by another staff member. All in all it was a great experience.“
“Fun place for a quick outing. Not an indictment on this particular location but just the brand, I personally wish there were more holes for the table top golf. That was way more fun for me personally as opposed to the mini golf. Oh and customer service was welcoming and friendly.“
“I frequently attend happy hours here, and the beer selection is great. The bartenders are welcoming and go out of their way to make the service great. I ordered a NASA Spacebar pint glass for my beer and the bartender rinsed and iced the glass before carefully pouring my beer to the rim with the optimal amount of head.Attention to detail is on point here, and I'm glad for service like this.“
“Kelsey the dog is a sweet, sweet pup. Nice pool table. Comfortable leather lounge area. Maybe too many college kids. Generally, this is a perfect local haunt. Hauntingly familiar. White winged dove says who who who. The people who run this bar and the people who work behind it are top notch. So are the people in the stools who rub elbows and talk s**** I've never been a regular at Broncos, but I've known this spot since about 1999, when it was known by another name. They take Apple Pay. Touch tunes. One pool table. Plenty of room for large groups. If you've never bothered to hang out at this joint, take my advice, and fix that problem. Go to broncos if you're looking for a good time.“
“We were at the bar/dancefloor area for drinks, and it was awesome. The decor is unassuming, but everything else is top notch. Our server was friendly, our drinks were very good, the music was danceable but not too loud, and there was a friendly and accepting atmosphere among the patrons. We'll be back, next time bringing our dance shoes.“
