This is a residential dining hall for the students that live on campus, but it's also open to the public which is nice. You pay when you walk in and I was able to use Apple Pay. Service at the counter was efficient to pay and walk in.I've eaten at Segundo Dining Commons a few times, so was curious to check out Cuarto Dining Commons as well. Back in my Davis days (freshman in 2016) this was my favorite DC. It's the smallest of the three and provides the most intimate setting. It's actually pretty cozy and a nice place to meet someone or spend extended periods. The food seemed to be consistently prepared better than Tercero in particular. It also had a few unique options like a sushi bar. It's worth the trip across Russell and overall has left a positive impression in my memory.

I like how welcoming the reception staff are, they seem to care about the students. Furthermore, the food here at Cuarto is always good. Definitely the standard for a student here at UC Davis. 10/10 would recommend.
