“Really enjoyed our evening but would recommend you invest in an outdoor sound system to play Italian background music. Also, I think the waitstaff should wear black pants and an Osterio Fuselo shirt. It will be an elevated look for your restaurant. Hope you consider. We've been in Davis for 26 years, and appreciate your restaurant so much in the community. Thank you!”

“I kept wondering if Mrs Craig Vanessa was really an expert trader like they say, that she is not a scammer like the others, then I contacted her and I was shocked and amazed that with just $1,500 I invested, Mrs. Craig Vanessa helped me managed my account and after 7 Days of trading, I made my first withdrawal of $16,700. I'm here to testify the good work of her after she made a good profit for me in my investment. She's reachable via WhatsApp with the number on her Facebook: Mrs Craig Vanessa”

“First time visiting. They have a lot of variety of drinks, and some drinks that I haven't seen at any other boba places. Quick service. Want to come here again to try out more drink flavors. I got the brown sugar boba mochi milk tea. Was a little too sweet for me but you can pick a less sweet option. The mochi was a bit odd, it was slimy and honestly I really didn't know what to expect. I would probably not get the mochi topping again.”
“So far I've tried the falafel and chicken kabobs. Both are delicious! Service is quick even though the food is prepared fresh. The employees are friendly and helpful. I usually get my meal packed to go because the space is small and seating is limited. I'll definitely be going back!
Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are limited but delicious! Try the falafel!
Dietary restrictions: I believe the meat is halal. It's best to verify that with the restaurant, though.”
“The good...the food was great. My family enjoyed the Firehouse Burger, Philly cheese steak, and Jam burger. The Bad: customers sitting next to us were loud and throwing F-bombs around numerous guests, including children. It's too bad the staff didn't notice ir address it. It was pretty unsettling.”
“I had a great lunch with my son last week. Close to closing time but the staff was friendly and very courteous. The crepes were perfect and delicious. Thank you”
“The food is amazing! The owner Jordan was very friendly and informative. Our waitress Diana was a pleasure. The tea leaf salad was delicious. Will be going back to try more food in the menu .”
“We got the Hunan style noodles with beef, pork and cabbage dry pot, and eggplant and green beans. All the dishes were so tasty!
Parking: Free parking lot with plenty of spots available.
Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly restaurant. High chairs are available for babies. No booster seats for smaller kids. Most dishes are spicy, so may not be kid-friendly in that sense.”
Outdoor Dining
“We never leave Davis without stopping here every time we visit. The poke here is awesome - try “Delilah style” for all the good flavors. The line always goes quick and the staff is friendly. It can get a bit loud but other than that, sitting down to eat is easy. The tables turn over quickly. Highly recommend!”

“Stopped on our way through from Lake Tahoe to San Francisco. What a delicious lunch our family had !! Something for everyone even 2year old grandson ! We’re from Australia and this Mediterranean cuisine ranks up there with the best. Thanks so much for the complimentary baklava too !!”
“Guad’s Tacos and Beer is a small, clean Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is very chill. They have a vast selection of beers on tap and there are a few TVs around the restaurant displaying sports games. You order at the counter and the kind staff bring the food out to your table. There is a chips and salsa bar where you can help yourself. They have an excellent selection of vegetarian and vegan options on their menu. Their menu features vegetarian/vegan burritos, quesadillas, tacos, nachos, and more. They offer three different kinds of beans (black, pinto, and refried), all of which are vegan. They even offer soy chorizo as a plant based protein option. The staff is very open to customizations to their menu options (i.e, adding fries to your burrito, turning your burrito into a bowl, etc.). My go to order is their vegetarian burrito with grilled veggies added. I usually alternate between their black and refried beans. I usually pair my burrito with their delicious horchata (vegetarian). It’s very creamy, perfectly spiced and sweetened, and refreshing. The burrito is very large and can even be shared between two people for a lighter meal. All of the ingredients are perfectly seasoned and balanced. The chips and salsa bar is very tasty and fresh. They have a wide variety of different salsas and condiments. My only gripe is that none of the salsas are particularly spicy, so I usually add some of the habanero hot sauce that is on each table to my burrito for an extra kick. The staff prepares the food quick and you can even order online ahead of time at guadsdavis.com if you’re in a hurry. My meal usually comes out to under $15 which is perfect for college students on a budget. Being that it is a very short walk from campus, I would highly recommend Guad’s to all of my fellow vegans and vegetarians.”
“Paesanos is always a good choice for pasta. Love the Bocce Balls and highly recommend sharing them. Had my usual tortellini and love it. The plate is enough to split into two to take some to go. It can get busy so might want to check wait times ahead of arrival.”
“I recently visited Café Bernardo in Davis and was really impressed by the overall experience. The atmosphere is casual yet stylish, with a cozy and welcoming vibe. It’s the perfect spot whether you want to catch up with friends, have a quiet meal, or even get some work done.
The menu offers a good mix of options, from fresh salads and sandwiches to heartier dishes. I ordered the avocado toast with eggs, and it was delicious—artful and full of flavor, with perfectly ripe avocado and a hint of spice. The coffee was excellent too, rich and smooth.
Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the food came out quickly despite the cafe being busy. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and they use locally sourced ingredients, which is always a plus.
If you're in Davis and looking for a relaxed place to grab a flavorful bite, Café Bernardo is definitely worth a visit!”

“Coffee, ambiance and nut butter banana toast are worth a visit! I visited Cloud Forrest Cafe from Colusa on 2/7/2019 for ‘Coffee with Cops,’ which had a great turn out from law enforcement and first responders. I wish the Davis community had attended to support law enforcement.”
“Hands down the best boba shop in Davis. I love getting the coconut smoothie with brown sugar boba. I have tried other coconut smoothies and none taste as delicious as the one you can get here! A lot of other places also don’t offer a coconut smoothie. 100% recommend ?!”
“Where do I start? I was new to the Davis foodie scene, but I came across Ding How and my mind was BLOWN. My partner and I both love vegan food, and was shocked to find Ding How had an entire vegan menu. Our go-tos are the Chin Ju chicken, Sesame chicken, Szechwan beef and a house chow mein! I always try to venture out of our favorites but.. they’re just so good to not get a second time! ? The staff are super patient, and friendly. They greet us so kindly upon entering and always check on us if we are dining inside. Oh! I forgot to mention that the lunch special is superior (especially when I’m on a budget and still want a hefty plate) but make sure you order before 3pm! Major shoutout to Ding How!!!!!!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU! ??”
“Best Lamb Curry in Davis. I eat Lamb Curry everywhere I go and this one was pretty solid. Also, I can’t say enough about the service. I showed up fairly close to closing and they were visibly wrapping up the place. I told them I would leave and they insisted I stay and were very kind and prompt. Great experience all around.”
“Can't go wrong with a restaurant that's been a part of Davis since 1977! Family owned and operated through generations. Delicious dinner!”
Takeout Restaurants
“Davis’ newest coffee spot! I’m so exited for a new coffee choice!! First time visiting. Volt did not disappoint. Vanilla latte is always my go to when trying out a new place. They had a choice of medium and dark roast. I chose the dark. It was delicious!! A perfect balance of all flavors. Staff is wonderful. Choice of indoor and outdoor seating. The view of the beautiful and humongous cork oaks is superb. Guads food truck is there. We got breakfast burritos. And of course they were delicious. We will definitely be back and I will be recommending this coffee shop to everyone. They also offer a selection of beer if you so desire!”
“This was the first we visited this restaurant. Actually, it's more like pickup or delivery where there were limited tables to sit at and our food was packed to go. We chose to sit.
So we ordered Chicken and Tofu with Cold Boiled Egg over Rice, Beef Noodle Soup, and Braised Pork Belly and Chinese Sausage over Rice. The food was excellent, meat was tendered and well cooked! Especially the chicken.
With the chicken dish, I would love to have some veggies. There were none.
I would come back for a pick up or delivery but not to dine in.
Parking: Off on Fifth street near two other Asian restaurants - Chinese and Sushi places.”

“We hired Alyssa to make our wedding cake, groom’s cake & dessert bar. She made the whole process so easy. From the cake tasting to design. She is so sweet and accommodating. She delivered everything the day of the wedding set everything up for us. It was all so delicious and the guests raved about the desserts. Would 100% recommend to everyone and can’t wait for the next occasion to hire her again.”

“Best Hot Pot I’ve had in Davis by far!!! SUPER SPICY but extremely rich and flavorful!!! The sliced noodles were amazing!! This is my first time coming and it will not be my last!! Happy to have this in West Davis!! 10/10!! Our waiter was also incredibly sweet and helpful!”
“Nice layout for the farm. We found it randomly, found out they are open Friday-Sunday and have food trucks, live music, and beer. Oh and GOATS, which my fiancé loves.”

“I tried the beef lamb plate and was not disappointed. The food tasted fresh and the flavor was definitely there. I think it would have really knocked it out of the park if there was some cut tomatoes and red onion, maybe. Otherwise, the sauce was great.
I got spicy on the side because I shared with my kids. I also bought a side of fries and was happy with the portion - more than enough for my two kids to share and me to pick off of.
Next time I’d love to try the dolma and baklava!”

“Honestly Davis has some of the worst coffee shops in terms of space to work and consistent quality of coffee! Starbucks here is literally amazing so much space, consistent coffee, and great people! Stop wasting time at the local places I’ve already tried to like them and come here!”
“This place was nice, it wasn’t too busy which could be seen as either good or bad The atmosphere was calming, furniture was cozy. As for the food, It was amazing. The churros were gigantic and tasty, the ice cream is creamy and soft. 10 Bucks for the whole cup, not a bad place for a small date. Would go again!”
“It’s been a while since I have been to T-Kumi, but I keep coming back to have their Ramen. I just really like their broth (Tonkatsu is my favorite) and I like that they put more ingredients in their ramen than most other ramen restaurants without needing to pay extra. However, they have a note on the kiosks when you order that they are “currently out of soft boiled eggs” (my guess is due to the recent high egg prices). I also like their Pork Belly Rice a lot and the kids really like their Popcorn Chicken. They have really good drinks, rice bowls and snack items. You can place your order with their 2 kiosks or you can order with from a staff (most people just order from the kiosk). Once you order from the kiosk, you are given a number and the staff will call out your number when you order is ready, then just raise your hand and they will deliver it to you. Water is self serve through the water dispenser (paper cups available) next to the cash register. Ambiance is chill and they always have some to ing playing on the TV for you to watch (today it is Avatar “Animated”, but sometimes they have K-Pop music videos or some sort of movie). I will continue to come back for their Tonkatsu Ramen as so far I have not found another Ramen place that has as tasty of broth as the one at T-Kumi.”
“Noodle House, as my family and I lovingly call it, is an icon in Davis. It's a little hole in the wall behind Sophia's Thai Bar that was referred to my husband and I 15 years ago. We walked in and almost left because it's small... and old... and a little sketchy? But we decided to give it a try anyway.
We have been coming regularly since then, and our family has grown, and grown up begging to go there for special occasions like getting good grades, etc. There is nothing we have had that isn't delicious.
I highly recommend the won ton noodle soup, pork chop noodle soup, szechuan eggplant with noodles, the potato curry with noodles, the 5 spice beef noodle soup, and the chow mein.
The noodles are homemade. The broths and sauces are unique, delicious, and literally award winning.
The service is fine. It's the same lady for the past several years. She's quick and efficient. Before that, I think it was her mom or aunt.
You won't regret trying it out - and if you do, you'll be back.”

“Great wine selection! With our wine, we tried the delicious homemade hummus and pita appetizer, best I've had! We also tried the sampler platter, so tastful and beatiful.”
“Tasty Palace is the best Chinese in town, bar none. It's authentic northern Chinese cuisine, so it's spicy. Lots of people expecting Panda Express will be disappointed. But if you want an authentic and very tasty Chinese dining experience, this is the best game in town.
I recommend nearly every seafood dish, the tofu, the lamb... It's all great. Be forewarned -- it's not boring. It's full of flavor.
Reasonable prices too considering portion size. Nearly every dish can easily be shared between two people.
This has become our Chinese go-to spot, and I hope more people will give it a try!”
Cheap Eats
“This was my first time eating here. It was very noisy inside, so we opted for take-out. I ordered a 240 on dutch crunch bread. It was okay, but there were a couple pieces of gristle in the meat and I would have liked a bit more sauce. Also, the menu said it had cheese, but my sandwich didn't appear to have any.
My friends ordered the 13 and 309.
Both were disappointed by the small portion of "meat". One was disappointed that the gluten free bread wasn't toasted, which can greatly improve the flavor of gluten free bread.”
“Highly recommend!!Coho has many great food options, but a steamy bowl of delicious pho after classes always hits the spot! Meat here is juicy, vegetables fresh, and the broth variety allows me to experiment with different soup tastes. On certain days, I also like to grab some freshly-made sushi, especially the Rainbow Roll! The staff is friendly and very fast, rolling through a big line during regular noon rush hour in no time!”
“Happy Valentine’s Day, Preethi! I love you and miss you. I’ll never forget when I consistently visited your buffets during my sophomore & junior year Spring Quarters. My waist size increased by 2 inches each time, and I couldn’t fit any of my pants when summer came. I’ve spread the good news of Preethi to friends and family, and many have been converted. They can agree that your food is preethi amazing ;) Our 6 year anniversary is coming up, so I’ll visit you very soon!”
“Despite being in a tiny food truck right next to the Silo bus hub, Shah's Halal Food punches miles above its weight in terms of food, service speed, and convenience for a regular student like me. Yes, theres other places on campus, but none are THIS good and THIS close to where I actually have stuff happening on a regular day. All the Gyros ive tried from this place have been well worth their price; having amazing food within a few minutes of walking is priceless to me.
Try it if you ever swing by the Silo, they'll have amazing food even if the UC Davis-provided seating isnt the best in the world. 9.5/10 would absolutely recommend (though you shouldn't sit on the concrete seats too long, ill admit.)
Dietary restrictions: It's got it in the name; No pork, compliant with what most Muslims are allowed to eat, and pretty tasty too!”
“Delicious, delicious, delicious!!! We had thai ice tea (free refills), satay, "drunken" noodles, and thai stir fry. Great service, too!”
“I come here quite often for pick up & I must say I am always impressed with all the workers. I went on Thursday February 8th & they where incredibly busy the phone was ringing no stop & people walking in to get pick up or door dash & the employees where doing great under a very stressful busy night. Just wanted to let you know I appreciate all you do. Fantastic pizza as always. Great job.”
“David*** and the other staff here are good peoples for real!!! Not to mention the wholesome food-- now that's flavor! Mushroom burger, mac n cheese, and fries of all sorts are my favorites. Cozy & welcoming spot for us struggling students, grads, profs, and undergrads alike lol.”
“I used to come to this restaurant in the mid '00s, and it changed both name and ownership at some point between then and now. Perhaps I'm having a bit of nostalgia fogging, but it seems the quality declined somewhat the change. However, Nami is still a perfectly serviceable mid-range sushi restaurant even if they are no longer a hidden top-tier gem the way I remember them having been in 2005. Their sashimi continues to be decent, as do their bento boxes. They rolled out an AYCE menu at some point as well, but I haven't tried this as I tend to be skeptical of AYCE anywhere. The lunch service tends to run a bit slow even when the place is nearly empty, which I find mildly frustrating when I'm in a hustle to get back to work. The staff does seem to have some difficulty with English (they speak Cantonese as their primary language), which has made for difficulties in recent visits (explaining that I was not in fact ordering AYCE), but I have since become somewhat of a regular so they remember my preferences, which is a nice touch. I wouldn't call this a destination restaurant, but I appreciate it for its convenience and its prices which I find to be far more reasonable than many other Japanese restaurants in Davis. All in all, a good mix of quality, convenience, and cost -- a good lunchtime choice for folks who live and/or work in East Davis.”
“Love this place! It needs more recognition because locals don’t even know about it. Great food, great atmosphere!”
“It's unusual to find a restaurant serving high quality Dim Sum outside of San Francisco, so it's always a treat to take my family to Well Season. Although I'm now comfortable with the variety of dishes available at a Dim Sum restaurant, I grew up in New Hampshire which, to the best of my knowledge, still doesn't have a single Dim Sum restaurant in the entire state. Nonetheless, the staff at Well Season are patient and helpful with newcomers . They have times when they serve from the traditional Dim Sum carts, but they also always have have plastic covered Dim Sum picture menus available that you can mark up with a dry erase marker to select the dishes you want. My favorites are Siu Mai (minced pork and shrimp dumplings) and Shrimp Har Gow (translucent or "crystal" shrimp dumplings. The only aspect of the restaurant that strikes me as odd is the venue. Well Season restaurant is in a former Applebees building, with lots of exterior windows, so the ambiance has a distinctive American feel to go with the traditional Dim Sum menu.”

“This a great simple super affordable quick bite, perfect for college aged people or someone looking for really good simple food. If ur looking for fine dinning and atmosphere this isn't that, but they do a great job at what they do.
Salt pepper pork chops and the pork belly fried rice were amazing”
