A cool, spacious, air conditioned spot in the middle of the desert that doesn’t close in the afternoon! Plus board games, darts, shuffleboard and clean bathrooms.The food is not great, but as a kid who grew up in the desert I know how hard it is to truck fresh food in. They do just fine with what they have.I do wish they had a vegetarian sandwich option though - even just hummus, cheese and veggies since they have all those on the menu already? Just a thought for the future.
I don’t know how this place doesn’t have more reviews - it is by far the best option at the ranch at Death Valley. It’s mostly bar food, but priced accordingly. We had the pretzel, flat bread, side salad, sliders, and wings. Everything was good. We were here early and noticed they were out of a lot of things for those who arrived after us. Service was a little slow but they have reasonably priced drinks and games while you wait.

Awesome golf course view, nice atmosphere, short walk from the villas. Best food at the ranch is at the saloon I don’t suspect they’ll change that and don’t need to. Wild Rose Tavern is a great place to hang out and have good drinks. Wish they had merch, would’ve loved a hat or t shirt.
