“Absolutely LOVE this place. Favorite donut shop in the area, hands down. The young man working the front is always very friendly, very quick, and very good at making it easy to order. Have never personally stopped to sat down to enjoy the location but there's plenty of seating.”

“Best Coffee House in the Turlock / Denair area. The staff is so friendly, the service is amazing, and there is a lot of joy in supporting a local family owned business. There have been multiple times that I have ordered 12+ beverages to treat my coworkers, and the coffee house always gets the orders right. They will even call or text me to get clarification if there is an order that doesn't make sense. The espresso they use is also delicious. I highly recommend giving this cute little place a try.”

“First time trying it out on a recommendation from a few people.
They do have a decent salsa bar (cabbage salsa is the superior salsa 🤤) which was a highlight of one of the recommendations.

The food left a little to be desired, I got the two item combo the tamale was very tasty, the red sauce had a good kick but it didn't linger or take away from the flavor. The sope however was a little lack-luster. I got it with pastor, which was not like any pastor I've ever had so that was disappointing. The masa was tough and flavorless. I love that they use romaine and not just iceberg but it was missing that crunch. Points for the rice and beans, though, they were very flavorful!
My husband got the taco salad, and it was pitiful, huge shell barely half way filled up. He was also bummed at the pastor.
He also said the shell tasted like dish soap😬

Overall- more positives than negatives and I'd definitely come back to try other stuff. I saw other plates that people in our group ordered and I was definitely intrigued!

“I never write reviews but I wanted to use their bathroom before my train came. I ended up buying a pizza and realizing the train was coming before it would be done so I chose not to take it. The worker BROUGHT the pizza to me at the stop!! Tysm!!!”

“My daughter introduced me to Cookie Crumble about a year ago, I really couldn't see what all the fuss was about, then I tried a box. First the box was adorable, then I opened it and was amazed!! I was impressed with the presentation. Then sampling the cookies was so fun. You can feel the dedication and love that went in to making each cookie ♥ From then on I've been hooked. Each Celebration, birthday or when ever I feel like spoiling myself ~ Cookie Crumble is my go to. If you haven't tried then, I recommend you go today!! You won't be disappointed!!”

“I love the food, it never disappoints! The ladies are wonderful and this is one of my favorite places to eat. My top favs: chicken teriyaki sandwich, Tri-tip sandwich and the BBQ chicken wrap. “One of our favorite spots. We have brought several friends and family and boast about the incredible food and service. Only disappointment is the bathrooms. Such a beautiful location with very poor kept bathrooms. Tonight we have a reservation for 2 and got offered high top or the table next to the bathroom when every table but 3 were open. We try to make our date nights special tonight was disappointing with these options. (We reluctantly chose the table next to the bathroom) Our server Priscilla was so sweet she made up for it. But even when we were leaving there were still empty tables. It’s the little things like that, that will make us rethink our choice next time.”

“Outstanding authentic Mexican flavor. Tastes sooooooo good! If you like tacos (and who doesn't) you MUST try the menu item called "3-Taco Birria Pulled Beef" with cheese/lettuce/tomato. I was blown away by the rich flavor. It's served with a cup of delicious broth on the side which is great for dipping. I'm always craving this meal. Another recommended choice is the deep-fried Quesadilla with marinated Birria pulled beef. This one has fresh veggies on the inside and is layered with a rich, tasty cheese on the outside. I can't stay away from this place!!!”

“Every time I’ve gone to Ann’s Fish and Chips, the food has always been made fresh and is perfectly crispy! My favorites are definitely the fish and shrimp, they’re always cooked perfectly and so good. I also tried the vegetable combo and it was amazing! Everything in it was delicious, but I will for sure be back for another veggie combo especially the Zucchini’s!

On top of the great food, the customer service is always spot on. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and really makes you feel at home every time you come in. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to!”

“it was all literally fresh but the rice (obviously). the man at the counter was so helpful in describing the menu and choices we could do. there was 6 of us and none of us were disappointed. it was sooo good and fresh. tons of steak/chicken in the bowls. a huge half avocado when you order it. the sauce is so good too. the dressing on the salad is super good too. they went above and beyond with my nephews salad. he's allergic to cranberries and they have them on their salads. they went to the back and made his very own to make sure there was no cross contamination. that was sweet. we will definitely be back!!!! loved it. reasonably priced as well. thanks for all your help.”

“Alison’s Cafe is a gem! They have plenty of seating and a drive thru. It is a small business and may take a little longer than the corporate businesses, but the quality and taste is well worth it. Also, your dollar is doing more good here! The owner was working and was a complete sweetheart. I ordered a butterscotch latte and a cheese danish. Both were delicious! I spent about $9.50 which is very reasonable. You can’t beat quality, great service and a wonderful owner! Highly recommend!”
