“We were served quickly and friendly, the food was good.Parking: A little small, the place is very busy especially on weekends and there is not enough parkingKid-friendliness: Yes, it is very suitable for children. They have special dishes for children.Wheelchair accessibility: If you don't have a problem“
“Not from LA, just visiting from up north. I first tried Eggslut in London when I briefly lived there. Decided to give it a go again back home in California. Amazing food! Cannot stress that enough. I do love an egg sandwich though, so that helps. I usually get the bacon, egg, and cheese which is of course a breakfast classic and Eggslut does it justice. The brioche bun they use is mighty fine. I tried the Fairfax also this time around and was not disappointed! Damn, so good. Them caramelized onions and chives really add some moreish character to the sandwich. I’m not huge on mayo, but I believe it’s sriracha mayo which I liked. Not too spicy. Cashier/person who took my order treated me kinda poorly, but it was 8 or so AM on a Monday, so maybe they just weren’t feeling it. I dunno, not really the point. Bottom line is the food is way worth trying. So shuffle on down to downtown from wherever you are in LA county, or Southern California for that matter. This location is within an area that contains multiple food joints, so if Eggslut doesn’t sound appealing there’s plenty of other food to choose from. Give it a whirl, gang.Wheelchair accessibility: Right next to the sidewalk, no doors or stairs. Seating outside and inside with plenty of room for a wheelchair. My brother is handicapped and we had no issues maneuvering him around.“
“Great spot, thanks Yelpers! The mans and I were doing some thrifting in LB and needed a bite and we settled upon this spot and I'm so glad we did. It was the perfect vibe for us. Not crowded and the music wasn't too loud so you can actually hear your date. My boyfriend got the lasagna and it was delicious! I will order this next time. When I think of lasagne I want it to taste like this. And at $16, if also comes with a generous side salad and a side of garlic bread. I got the chicken Marsala ($20) and it came with a generous portion of chicken, sauce, homemade mashed potatoes and the most wonderfully sautéed asparagus. Yum! We will come back here for sure. We had such a lovely meal, we even decided to try the peach cobbler for dessert ($10). It was a big portion that came a la mode. We left happy and full and even had some leftovers. Our server was sweet and attentive. Keep on rockin Tony's! Now we see why you get such great reviews. We will be back soon.“
“If you miss Luther/Donut Burgers, you can substitute a glazed donut for a burger bun on the burgers here. Fries are extra crispy, but yummier than expected.Presentation for dining in could be improved. Our burgers and sandwiches were handed to us in take out bags like donuts, which made dining in a little messy.“
“Been to this place more than once.Service: gotten much much much better. Whatever it is they changed from two months ago, was so worth it! (As for this occasion our waiter Malaquinho was on TOP of his game. Never let our drinks go lower than half. Consistency/ Attentive/ Positive attitude was key, and friendly of course. Props to this guy. Honestly! All while running the front of house.)Food: Pretty fire, you have to know what you are in the mood for and it has never disappointed. Love the pre conchitas with some piping hot coffee. Hits all the right taste buds.Price: $$ food quantity is there “BANG FOR YOUR BUCK”. Def a go to if you want to share a plate as well.We will forsure be back for some more. ;D“
“I really like Honey Hi. The food is healthy, and always gives me great energy. I used to always frequent this place and yet the salmon bowl -- which was pretty expensive. I'm not sure if they still make it. Everything is expensive considering the portions, and I've unfortunately had to cut back eating here in an effort to save a bit more money. But if I could afford to eat here everyday, I definitely would!“
“Went in for early Easter breakfast, very cute local spot. The food was delicious and the price was very affordable. I ordered the breakfast burrito was very yummy. The service was very quick and the servers checked up us on a lot. They kept asking us if we needed anything or if we needed coffee / water refills.“
“Party of 12 at 11:45 am we were seated within minutes in the patio. It was our first time there, and it did not disappoint. We had a mix of breakfast and lunch orders. We tried the buffalo wings, and they were excellent. I had the chicken avocado sandwich with onion rings. It was large enough to share. I'll definitely return. The inside of the restaurant is big with plenty of space. Don't take my word for it. Go check them out.“
“Due to a deadline, I didn't stop to eat any of their food, but it sure smelled wonderful!Knott's Berry Farm, is quite a distance from me, so I am infrequently in the area. But...I know there is a Broken Yolk Cafe in the City of Orange. I look forward to trying their food.Parking: Plenty of parking spots were available.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, they make it easy to get inside the restaurant.“
“A wonderful experience! I will return, with or without my bookclub, most definitely. Service was amazing. The Huevos Divorciados was truly the best deconstructed loaded baked potato ever! As I have been craving Birría recently so I added it. I was not disappointed. ? My friend had one of the Chilaquiles options and enjoyed it very much. Please try the flights, you will be pleased. So pretty, unique and tasty.Kid-friendliness: Madres Brunch is very family welcoming.“
“First time here. Came for Sunday brunch with a group of 6. Waited a bit for a table but well worth it. Delicious options. Friendly service. Will be back!Dietary restrictions: The create your own omelette was perfect for my keto lifestyle! I chose sausage, bacon, mushrooms and two types of cheese. Ask for butter to add on top. Particularly good!!“
“It was my first time the guy whom took my order was very nice and patient he allowed me to sample a few meats almost got full lol. I tried the food that’s already ready not bad. Mac and cheese isn’t write home-able lacking flavor but cheesy brisket was okay grilled veggies were good. The fruit parfait ? bomb. I can see myself returning because they have breakfast lunch etc it’s great to have a place in such an area with healthy choices. So I gotta return for more I see the great potential in this eaterythank you Served 2 Enjoy“
“Not sure why reviews always complain about the size of these burritos. Though they initially appear smaller than the average burrito, they’re very dense and I always feel full/satisfied after. Not trying to eat a burrito that’s going to put me into a food coma and make me want to lay on the couch all day. A little on the pricier side, but to me it’s worth it because the flavors are absolutely fantastic.“
“Was looking for a simple diner is DTLA that didn't upcharge for being trendy and I found the place. The food and service were so fantastic that I visited 2 days in a row during a recent trip. I will definitely be recommending to people I know that travel to the area.“
“I’d have to say this place is the most consistent that I’ve experienced in the entire market. Everything is good that I’ve tried so far, it’s hard to pick a favorite item from the menu. I intend to eventually try everything since I live across the street.“
“This used to be my favorite brunch spot in Long Beach. However, I came here today for the first time after they moved to a different location and was a bit disappointed. It's spacious but the music was too loud and the wait benches were stained. My chilaquiles verde was great but my berry and peach toast was very dry and had no berry or cream. Note that I had these dishes before at the old location and they were delish.Overall, it didn't live up to my previous experiences, and I probably won't return.“
“So we started shopping at Ralph's Fresh Fare on Seal Beach Blvd. Making a drive from DTLB because our local grocery store Vons was giving in to homelessness and crime. Very unsafe for us. Wanted to grab some breakfast early before shopping. This Cafe had awesome corned beef hash and breakfast quesadillas! Huge servings at low prices! Couldn't be better! Did I mention how nice the service is?!“
“Had a tasty experience at No Toro Cafe this morning! Brought my family to enjoy some great food! We had the Banana Nutella pancakes, Chocolate Chip and Banana French toast, the Sniper Scramble, and more! We definitely will be coming back for breakfast! We were seated quickly, and the service was top tier! Very welcoming and gave us a family feel! I definitely recommend this place!Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly!“
“MUST TRY THEIR GYRO! I love gyro's & their gyro was so yummy & really hit the spot. Their tzatziki sauce is none like any other I've tried & it was amazing! It was creamy, tangy, & tastes so fresh with high quality ingredients. Trust me, you can tell the difference compared to other places I've tried. My mouth is watering just thinking about it now. This place is a hidden gem. The ambiance was very relaxing & I cannot explain it, but any stress I had just melted away when I was there. The service was fast & everyone there was super friendly.“
“Came here for a family lunch and we will definitely be back! Hearty portions. The chapo specials have a few type of meats they kind of compete with each-other and I would skip the chicken in that specific combination. The breakfast burrito was a HIT. Next time I want to try it with hash brown/refried beans. Everything else was good , will be back for sure . Service was good, not a Michelin starJoint but the price is right and it's definitely a neighborhood joint. Worker was like " you've never been here before so they definitely have their clientele" murals on the walls average Mexican spot vibes.“
“This is where we go for special occasions when we want solid Korean food, particularly savory soups. But that is not to say the other stuff on the menu is not worth trying. Some of the dishes deserve special recognition, because they are not typical (in my experience) or because they are exceptional. Not typical could include the Yeolmu Boribap, which is daikon radish greens mixed with barley rice and other ingredients. Very tasty and filling, even if I can't recall having it elsewhere. We really like it. Seasonal? Maybe. Exceptional could include the Doenjang soup/chigae, which we all agree is maybe the best we have tried in years. It is a treat. Many regard this dish, served elsewhere, as a pedestrian food, ordinary and a staple, but here it is elevated. The Chunggukjang is a more rustic version of the Doenjang soup/chigae, and it is very delicious. For the uninitiated, this is a stew made from something like (Japanese) natto, and it isn't great for a hot day, but rather, awesome for cold weather dining. Delicious, not for the delicate. In sum, this is a mom-and-pop style place, not some corporate chain, exactly the kind of place we like to support. People in the area who seek good homestyle Korean food will know this place and appreciate what they do here.“
“I saw a picture on yelp and wanted the same thing. How often does the real life order look just as good as the yelp picture? Well, today it did, and it was delicious!! The name is definitely deceiving, it's more of a breakfast/Mexican food truck, dont come for bagels, lol.Mine on the left and the yelp pic on the right.“
“Crossroads is a nice little cafe with a great variety of sandwiches. My friends and I ordered sandwiches to-go and they were so yummy! I had the spicy chicken sandwich and loved it. It was a good spice level for me but may be a little bit spicy for some. Everyone else really enjoyed their sandwiches as well. Overall, it was a great meal and I will definitely be coming back to try more things in the future.“
“Had a wonderful breakfast at Pancake with family. We ordered avocado toast, blintzes, chocolate chip pancakes, hash browns, and crispy chicken with waffles, along with their freshly squeezed juice. Every single dish was delicious and so beautifully plated. We had a great time! Totally recommend this breakfast spot!!“
“Breakfast/brunch: Great mom-and-pop style diner with a broad menu for a small place. We ate on the patio and enjoyed the wonderful weather. The staff was great and what we ordered arrived quickly, hot, and delicious. My coffee never ran out or got cold, and they checked in with us constantly like we were regulars or family. (Our first time there.) We'll be back any time we're in the area.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available.“
“We were on our way to IHOP but saw this place and made a switch. So glad we did! Our server was so sweet and the food was delicious! It has been in business for 20 plus years and has a great welcoming vibe. Will dine here again when we are in the “
“This place is a go-to whenever I crave burgers, albeit very occasionally. It's always busy and popular among the locals. The burgers and French fries are always fresh, and their breakfast menu, especially the pancakes, is delicious. The staff are generally friendly too.“
“First time there, never noticed the place in the shopping center. Glad i found them on maps! Went in with my special veggie fries order & he had me, did it just right. Got my dad a wet burrito. Fair average pricing. Will definitely be a go to spot in the area.Vegetarian options: Tell them how you want it.Dietary restrictions: Tell them how you want it.Wheelchair accessibility: Large dining space“
“I came there for lunch one day while on recess from Jury Duty. It's one of the closer place's that are in the area. They do have a pretty big menu like a restaurant and food that's already there made like all cafeteria's, so you don't have to wait for your order to be made.“
“The wait wasn't too bad on a Saturday morning around 11AM (after a late morning hike). The server was nice, although notably a bit flustered as it was busy inside. I had an iced Rose Latte, which was delicious and not overwhelming. Both the Croque Madame and Croque Monsier dishes were flavorful and large portions. I'll be returning to try more items off the menu.“
“Been here quite a few times, nothing special. I don't really like their pancakes, they seem very dry and fall apart easily so I always substitute for crepes or strawberry blintz. Ordered Sirloin Tips and a side of smoked sausage, it was pretty good, the meat was nice and tender and flavorful. My husband ordered the steak omelette that was also pretty good and big enough to share. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. Overall our experience was great.“
“Got the #7 grilled beef. Pretty good. Had a Vietnamese coffee, I was happy that it didn’t leave me cracked out.The environment is a bunch old timer Vietnamese gentleman here drinking their coffee and chatting with their homies.Everyone is nice.My favorite is the French baguette. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.“
“Attention L.A. Court Jurors! If you're looking for a good spot to eat close to the DTLA court houses, check out the Galero Grill in the Cathedral complex. A five minute walk from the court houses with good food at reasonable prices. Plus, there's a lovely patio with tables to enjoy your meal in peace (other than the Cathedral chimes on the hour). It's run by the Patina group so, although the food isn't fancy, the quality is very good.“
“Even though it was full, the wait time to be seated was less than 10 mins. The staff is courteous and welcoming. The food is great and they offer free coffee refills. Plus, they’re open 24/7.Parking: Large parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Kids welcomed and there’s a designated kids menu.“
“This is one of the closer places I could find 肉夹馍 rou jia mo (Chinese hamburger), so I stopped by and have a try. We just came back from a trip to Xi ‘A which is the birthplace of this food. The taste was ok. They added some chopped green pepper which I don’t think the authentic version has it. The bun is also a bit more burnt compared to the authentic version. Overall not too bad but just don’t expect it’s the original version!“
“My wife and I went to eat after we got off work to have a midnight date. The atmosphere was nice, there weren't to many people. The person waiting on us seemed new but he did his job right, and the food was a bit cool but it was good. I would have asked them to reheat it but I was starving.“
“Great place for breakfast takeout. Small place. Since covid they closed the inside.. But it's so nice and quaint inside, I Wish they open the restaurant more. Nice small diner look.Parking: Not much parking on their lot but you can use next doors spaces they say, which is plenty.“
“The service was good, we went in at a perfect time on a weekday. I wish they carried Dr.Pepper and I miss being able to have the variety of syrup choices. They need to bring the choice's back? The only thing that took a while was when it came time to pay. We had to wait for our waitress to serve other table's before we were able to pay due to their policy of pay at table now.“
“I love their breakfast burritos. The only issue that I have here SOMETIMES is that I always order my breakfast burritos with beans and potatoes and about half the time it’s only with potatoes. I hate when it happens because I love their beans lol.Still, I love the food and the ladies that work there are always super chill. Gracias!“
“Place is great. Staff is friendly. I believe it's Korean owned due to some items you won't see at other Tom's. Cheeseburger combo was so good. Fries well seasoned and fresh off the fryer.Tried their bulgogi kimbap. It was good.Parking is decent. They do phone orders.Definitely will come back again“
“I went with my friends to get breakfast. We had a good time and enjoyed the food. I love waffles and the one I had here was really good. I also loved the orange juice. It tasted freshly squished. My friend accidentally ordered something thinking it was one way but it turned out to be a different thing and they nicely replaced it. I will come back here. Also very nice customer service and everyone is so nice and attentive.“
