“We popped in here for dinner before ashow at the Forum. We were staying downthe street and google popped this up as agood spot. There weren't very many carsoutside so we ventured in. Super glad wedid. All of our food was on point. It is muchbigger inside than it looks from outside. The staff was friendly and attentive. If l amin the area again, I would definitely eat hereagain.“
“One of the more friendly locations. All of the employees are very friendly. Came here for my daily dose of coffee and donuts. I don't eat donuts that often anymore but decided to treat myself this am. I just had to remove one star because the crumb donut is nothing like Randy's crumb donut. It's super dry and lacks flavor. Super gross! But, I'm gonna eat it because, I'm not wasting $1.50! Lol“
“This was THE BEST steak tips and eggs I hav had at an IHOP coast to coast! This includes DC, Florida, Midwest, San Diego, Washington State, etc. I've traveled. I avoided coming here due to premade judgements about it being a mediocre IHOP. I am so glad I did! Atmosphere was good, service was prompt, and my food was delicious! I ate it so fast I didn't have time to take a picture and I sent out a snap to my family the food was so good I should've licked my plate! Fantastic!“
“I was in Santa Monica yesterday morning in line to eat at another restaurant. It was already lunch time. But I wanted breakfast food. I asked the people in line if that restaurant served French Toast for breakfast. A very nice young woman with a cute dog said "go to John O'Groats" if you want a traditional French Toast Breakfast. I followed her advice and drove out to John O'Groats. I am so glad that I did. This place is a tradition diner with a lot of charm. The French Toast was great. As was the coffee. The service was good. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I will definitely be returning to this location with friends. This is a great place to have lunch or dinner. Before I drove out there, I called. I got an outgoing voice message. I left a message in which I said that I had wished that someone had answered the phone. I just wanted to know if they are still serving breakfast. When I arrived, the proprietor said to me "You called didn't you?" I answered in the affirmative. He responded "We have breakfast all day every day!" I wish I had taken down the name and contact information of the woman who recommended John O'Groats. I would have enjoyed sharing my experience with her.“
“I'm glad that this place is utilizing the Vegan Just Egg! I had a burrito here made using the Just Egg and it was very tasty. I hope soon they include more vegan products as I believe it would attract many more customers to this establishment.“
“Not from LA, just visiting from up north. I first tried Eggslut in London when I briefly lived there. Decided to give it a go again back home in California. Amazing food! Cannot stress that enough. I do love an egg sandwich though, so that helps. I usually get the bacon, egg, and cheese which is of course a breakfast classic and Eggslut does it justice. The brioche bun they use is mighty fine. I tried the Fairfax also this time around and was not disappointed! Damn, so good. Them caramelized onions and chives really add some moreish character to the sandwich. I’m not huge on mayo, but I believe it’s sriracha mayo which I liked. Not too spicy. Cashier/person who took my order treated me kinda poorly, but it was 8 or so AM on a Monday, so maybe they just weren’t feeling it. I dunno, not really the point. Bottom line is the food is way worth trying. So shuffle on down to downtown from wherever you are in LA county, or Southern California for that matter. This location is within an area that contains multiple food joints, so if Eggslut doesn’t sound appealing there’s plenty of other food to choose from. Give it a whirl, gang.Wheelchair accessibility: Right next to the sidewalk, no doors or stairs. Seating outside and inside with plenty of room for a wheelchair. My brother is handicapped and we had no issues maneuvering him around.“
“Call ahead! The wait at the sandwich section can - at times - be a bit slow & tedious and can cost you half your lunch hour. Plus I don't love the fact that their default channel is "Fix News". Still, the salad bar is fabulous. Also, Maggie and Ruby absolutely rock! :-)“
“I got the veggie panini and an iced matcha w/ oat milk; both were very good. My brother ordered a french toast that he vacuumed down in 5 seconds and my dad ordered an omelette that he could not get enough of. Everything was just so fresh and healthy. The service was great and the employees are so friendly! I definitely suggest eating in the back patio, the atmosphere is just amazing!“
“100% lives up to the hype. Walked by the one in Vegas and the line wrapped around the cosmo and I was shocked. Now that I have eaten a Fairfax and a bacon egg and cheese. I can definitely see why people would wait for it. I have thought about it a few times since leaving LA. I will be back and maybe half the reason I come back to LAX is because of eggslut.“
“Food, chef's kiss! I'm yelling cuz it's that good! Too bad I'm not a morning person, but to have some Red's breakfast, I will wake up early. We ordered Texas scramble with potatoes. Those potatoes have my heart! So good! Also ordered shrimp & grits - 100% stamp of approval. So delicious and full of flavor. Not runny but substantially good. Can't wait to try the other items on the menu.Picked up food so didn't eat inside. I suggest calling in your order because they get busy, especially during the holidays.“
