Desserts were also very good (chocolate cake was super fresh). So glad we had our anniversary dinner there!“

This time, I decided to stay a few days at the new Home collection lodging and the getaway was completely remarkable. “I could not rave more about this place. The setting is so serene, the rooms are beautiful and have plenty of amenities (soaking tub, steam showers, everything in the room is complimentary aside from wine), the service was impeccable, and the spa was stunning. Everyone was so kind and accommodating, and there were so many personalized touches (a welcome sign with your name in the room and during my spa service). The food is incredible, as are the turn down service cookies. Overall, I am leaving feeling more peaceful and happy than when I arrived, and what more can one ask for! “Valley Ford Cheese and Creamery is a great spot to pick up delicious local cheeses. You can sit down and have a meal or pick up some cheese to go. My favorite was the fontina cheese but you cannot go wrong with any of the cheeses in their selection. They also sell a great array of jams, candles, and other goods. This is definitely a great place to visit.“

“This hotel had everything we needed for a stay in wine country. We loved that it was right on the river with beautiful views. The bar was lovely and they had very nice food at the restaurant. The only knock I would say was the food service was really slow.“

“We had an excellent meal here in March, and I would love to go back! My spouse had the chili-braised pork and I got the burger. I have some tricky dietary restrictions, and the waitstaff and kitchen were amazing at accommodating me. The burger was delicious and every single element, from the bun to the toppings to the meat, was delicious and worked together perfectly. My spouse still mentioned the braised pork as one of the best things he's eaten. This is definitely a place to go for a special meal out!“

“Took a trip to Bodega Bay with my girlfriend for the weekend, and we stumbled across this little gem! The food here was EXCELLENT: the Crab Cakes we both agreed were the best we've ever had, I got the Clam Chowder which was delicious but could've been served a bit warmer, the Grilled Oysters were so fresh and delicious, and my girlfriend really enjoyed the Wood Fired Grilled Mushrooms and the Winter Salad. The wine was also good but we came here for the food! The staff was very friendly and attentive throughout our meal and we loved our outdoor seating overlooking Bodega Bay. Loved this place, it was a great surprise to start our trip! Have been recommending this restaurant to my friends n family and also you, yelp user!“

“Highly recommend boon eat + drink! We heard that if we come around 6-7pm on the weekend that there would be a long wait. We went about 10 minutes after opening on Sunday evening, and there were already 2 tables seated. The staff were so nice and attentive. There are two sections to the restaurant: indoors and a covered, heated patio area (they provide blankets). My only small complaint is that some of the tables are close together--I guess that really adds to the cozy vibe. The food was outstanding! In each dish, the different components of the dish balanced each other so well (sweetness + salty + tartness). That made the dishes feel less heavy. Appetizers: *BURRATA cranberry compote | pears | spiced walnuts | grilled bread 9/10 *CAULIFLOWER | sriracha vinaigrette | currant | sesame 8/10 (they ran out of brussel sprouts but the cauliflower was delicious) Mains: *seared DUCK BREAST | cauliflower puree | apricot marmalade | fried kale | pomegranate glaze 10000/10 *chili braised niman PORK shoulder | creamy polenta | fiesta slaw | ricotta salata + pepitas 7/10 They also had an assortment of alcohol to pair with your food :)“

“Wonderful experience. Service was exceptionally well. Service felt warm and welcoming. Meghan was delightful I hope she can host us again. The menu was amazing. One of the best meals I've ever had. My favorite dish was the Tagliolini just phenomenal! I loved the ricotta gnudi served with bone marrow. One of our main dishes had a unique ingredient which I will not spoil for the reader but keep you in suspense. My husband and I loved the Brazilian coconut cake gluten free dessert. We are looking forward to returning!  Cocktails were very well-balanced and wine selection was nice. The ambience was really fun and inviting. It feels like you're in a treehouse. Romantic setting for sure. “

“Great little caual seafood spot right on the harbor of Bodega Bay! Ginochios was exactly what I was expecting it to be with a no frills atmosphere serving up tasty food in a beautiful location. This place is certainly worth a visit if you find yourself in the area. Service: We were greeted by a friendly woman behind the counter when we entered. She made some light banter and explained what they were out of, but nothing really worth mentioning here. We went right at 11am when they transition from breakfast to lunch and they let us order from either menu. You order at the counter and they give you a buzzer which notifies you when your food is ready to pick up. Food: The high point of the experience! I ordered the Crab Sandwich and a side of fries and it was all pretty well above average. The sandwich was toasted on the outside with a nice crunch, while the crab inside was creamy, with great crab flavor and a hint of citrus. Not sure how they make it but it seemed to be their specialty and I would recommend it. Nothing too special about the fries but they were nicely seasoned with a good crisp. In general the prices are a little high for the style of food they are making, but I would say my meal was worth the money. Note, I went with 3 other people and they got Fried Egg Sando, Bacon Burrito, and Fish Tacos. None of them were too happy with their food, so I think your experience may vary depending on what you order. Do yourself a favor and order the Crab Sandwich. Ambiance: Again, nothing special here, but there are a variety of seating options depending on the weather and your preferences. When we visited it was a sunny day without much wind, so we sat on some benches in front of the restaurant. There is also indoor seating as well as outdoor seating within a courtyard which is protected by walls and windows in case it is windy.“

“The food here was hot and delicious. The upper seating area was cozy, and the bar was chic and casual. Our server, who was new and had moved from Alabama to California in 2020, was gracious and wonderful. Many thanks to him, and to the kitchen.“

“Fabulous brunch! Four of us went for Mother's Day and we couldn't have been happier. The food was very good. Smoked salmon Benedict was loaded with salmon and had a nice lemony hollandaise; steak and eggs were cooked perfectly; the omelette was huge and the egg was so good (all yokes maybe). Service was impeccable and staff very friendly. This was our first time at Drake's but we will definitely go back and try dinner.“

“Simple roast chicken was the best I can remember in the last 20 years. My wife had pasta with clams, which were also memorable. Or waitress was Scarlett. She was very pleasant and patient and helpful. My Cabbage side dish was a little firm and slightly bitter but the sauce was excellent and paired well with chicken and I ended up eating every bite so I have to consider that a success too.“
