“This is one of my favorite local restaurants for nearly 20 years! Cozy dining with great upscale pub food, awesome staff (Dave the bartender rocks!!!) and friendly locals. They have pet-friendly outdoor seating, kid menu, in-house dining, and separate bar with great music on Thursdays and on weekends (Sunday afternoons!) during summer. My favorites are seared ahi salad, salmon fish & chips, burgers, sliders, and the BEST FRENCH FRIES (sweet potato, garlic & regular)!!! BBQ’s oysters from What The Shuck on summer weekends and Sundays (??Please come back again this year Neil). A great stop for families, drinks with friends and hanging with the locals.Wheelchair accessibility: stair free with ramp inside back dining room“

“We had a very good time with great food on 3/31/24 5pm. Originally we were to be 7 on the reservation, but last minute cancellations left us with only 5. Restaurant didn't bat an eye and treated us well. A bit disappointed they couldn't serve alcohol due to an issue with the license. Starter salads were very tasty and loved the salad dressing too. A seafood hot pot was a huge quite delicious portion shared by 2. The prime rib special had just come out of the oven so my husband was pleased to get the end cut - lovely mix of well done and medium with the right amount of meat & fat. No room for dessert but offerings looked good. First time dining here but won't be the last. The veggie & regular burgers were good but more average. Fries were super!“

“This place is a hidden gem! Everything we have tried has been delicious! The people who work there are so nice and lovely to talk to despite the place being super busy on the weekend. Every time we are around that area we stop at wild flour.“

“A perfect cafe, if such a thing can exist. Warm, wonderful, artful space with cool art and a great outdoor space. A great Skatepark right next to the cafe surrounded by redwood trees. The owners are the sweetest couple, the food is SO GOOD. Try the Beach Laffa, you’ll be glad you did. This is the only place in a 50 mile radius that can make a perfect Oatmilk cappuccino.“

“The food was so delicious! We had the margarita pizza...beautiful presentation, the crust is thin and let the flavors from the mozzarella, tomatoes and basil be the stars of the meal. Get the peanut butter pie for dessert! Enough to share with you table mates. Service was great! Very friendly staff who knew their menu's flavors.“

“My friend and I were in Occidental CA. Wanting to go to Bodega Bay 1/2 drive for lunch at the Fisherman's Cove, the place that people rave about. Now I know why LOL. A really cute place with both indoor, patio seating and stools by a counter to look out at the bay. We arrived around 3:30 PM and got super lucking with parking. A car was pulling out as we entered. When you walk in, it's like a country store, that serves food. Menu is on the wall along with a board with specials. You order and pay at the counter. You are given a number that your food get delivered to wherever you are seating. We decided on the Calamari and Chips, Dozen Raw Oysters and a couple of ice cold Lagunitas IPA. I tell you these oysters I had were so fresh, fairly big, creamy and delicious. The calamari, light, crispy and perfectly fried! We say at the window counter eating while admiring the beautiful view if Bodega Bay. Atmosphere: Off the dock seafood feel. Service: excellent. Food: excellent.“

“When you pull up and look at the building, it's a bit of a head-scratcher. It's very non-de script, with a couple apartments as part of it. The small restaurant is upstairs, and Larry, the owner, is as nice as can be. Larry is hard to miss -- he's the 7' tall guy in the room. :-) I went for prime rib night and both the food and drinks were great. It's a pleasant little space with a dedicated bar on one side.“

“Not only was at the best, gluten-free scone I’ve ever had in my life, it was the best scone I have ever had in my life in general! Blueberries and orange icing on it was amazing, the workers there were so welcoming and lovely. My iced latte was delicious, and I totally went to this place on a whim, but I will definitely be going back! It was also exciting to see that on St. Patrick’s Day they had gluten free Irish soda bread, and it was also delicious! It is not celiac friendly; however, if you don’t mind Cross contamination and are just gluten intolerant I definitely recommend this place! Or if anything stop by for the coffee/tea!“

“I've wanted to go here for a long time - it's as good as they say. Lovely windy day but nice sunny seating outside. We were lucky as the wait wasn't long at all this day. A gang of gals went - several had the crab sandwich and traved about it. Several had fries - pretty good but not super crispy. I had the fish tacos - good but could have used a bit some "tang" in the slaw. I also had a bowl of their clam chowder - god but a bit more "fishy" tasting then I'm used to. but lots of yummy choices - we will be back!“

“We stopped here to get some fresh crab. We had the crab/shrimp sandwich, which was delicious. They also have a clam chowder that you can mix the white and the red soup together. This is just perfect because it isn't too rich and has more flavor. Luckily we went right at 11:00 am when it opened because it started to get real busy. Definitly would return again.“

“I haven't been here in years...and this time I've brought my kids! A very nice & patient man helped us with our ice cream order. We tried the peanut butter chocolate, mint chocolate chip, cookies'n'cream, & chocolate. ALL of it was still delicious & refreshing (good sized scoops too)! There's a good group of outdoor tables to sit at. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area again.“

“I stopped by for lunch on a sunny day and this was a home run. The Hitchcock wink just gilds this very pleasant spot. The Birds sits right off the water with multiple levels of scenic, outdoor seating wrapped around the little kitchen where you order and pick up. Pass the single stall bathroom, and you'll find an adjacent building set up as a coffee shop. The menu is simple, but effective. Fish Tacos: Loved them. The fish has a light, crisp batter. They're served with shredded cabbage, fresh pico de gallo, and an avocado sauce on top. Two hearty tacos to an order and so good. Artichoke Fritters: I know this is county fair food, but I loved these. I thought they might be heavy, but they were actually pretty crunchy, frilly, and delicate. They're good with the ranch on the side and a little hot sauce. The portion is honestly giant which is fun. I took my leftovers home and enjoyed them again that night!“

“Really nice people working here. We were so happy to find something that had outdoor seating and was dog friendly during a weekend where rain was heavy and often. Parking is limited and lotsa tourists around. Park at the cute country store and buy a soda and then go over to Estero. Great menu, lots of little creative dishes and the service was so nice and friendly and sweet. Well run, deliciously satisfying food, cooked well, and lots of crab based specials that looked awesome. On a quiet part of Highway 1, go here and be impressed and well taken care of. Thanks for the delicious coffee and food!“

“I stopped in for lunch and had a great experience. All the staff members I interacted with were very nice and my order had a quick turnaround time. Their chicken salad sandwich is awesome! The overall atmosphere was fun; plenty of drinks and snacks to choose from, lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and they even have a small shop filled with classic toys and candy.I can'r recommend this place enough. “What a gem! This family owned business extends a loving seat to everyone who walks in the door and the amazing ravioli and service makes you feel as if your own Nona is giving you cooking tips and wont let you leave her home until she's sure you have enough meat on your bones to last you through a cold winter.“

“I went to lunch here with a group of women and it's very pretty and very clean and the food was very good. I'm from the East Coast and if you pay $14 for a sandwich you're going to be able to get easily two lunches out of that sandwich. Even though the sandwich at Korbell was very good it was on the small side for that much money.“
“A very cozy and relaxing stay for me and my husband. We came on a weekend where the river was exceedingly high and the weather was bad but we loved being able to stay warm in the hotel. German food dinner was incredible, the hosts were kind, great beer. A nice continental breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend!“

“We have never been to this area before and didn't know of any restaurants. Thank God my daughter found this restaurant on Google. This is a truly five star. The menu has unique ingredients so perfectly combined and designed. The taste of the 4 different dishes we got were truly unique. Ingredients were super fresh. We loved it. Service was very nice, no throwing the plates or silverware. They were placed in the right place. Thank you Boon for a truly nice experience. Was it cheap? No, but good food comes with a price that I am willing to pay. Congrats to the owner and chef Crista Luedtke“

“This little place is not your average brunch experience. The atmosphere is very quaint, and their menu is unique. The workers are very friendly. I had their Hash in Pan, and it was very tasty and filling.I know this is a little thing, but I appreciated that they have raw sugar and stevia options for the coffee, not just refined sugar and artificial sweeteners. To me, this is one "minor" thing that shows attention to detail. This restaurant was memorable.“

“Took a trip to Bodega Bay with my girlfriend for the weekend, and we stumbled across this little gem! The food here was EXCELLENT: the Crab Cakes we both agreed were the best we've ever had, I got the Clam Chowder which was delicious but could've been served a bit warmer, the Grilled Oysters were so fresh and delicious, and my girlfriend really enjoyed the Wood Fired Grilled Mushrooms and the Winter Salad. The wine was also good but we came here for the food! The staff was very friendly and attentive throughout our meal and we loved our outdoor seating overlooking Bodega Bay. Loved this place, it was a great surprise to start our trip! Have been recommending this restaurant to my friends n family and also you, yelp user!“

“Want a tight bite while driving, before or after surfing? Are the kids driving you nuts and you know food will give you at least 40 minutes of zen? The dog house is the place. Fast and friendly service, well priced. A well stocked condiment bar, beautiful view of the Bay and the hand cut fries are to die for.“
“What a fantastic location in which to taste a few local wines and watch the sun go down! My family and I had a wonderful time here on a Thursday evening. Very friendly service, though it should be noted that they do not have "specialty organic juice elixirs for our non-alcohol-drinking patrons", as their website says. One can run across the street to buy something for the non-drinkers.“

“This place is awesome! My friend and I stopped here kinda randomly and were both impressed. We were greeted by friendly staff and even invited to bring our dog along since they have outdoor seating with plenty of room and atmosphere. I saw an area for corn hole as well. It seems like a great place for large groups. The food was tasty and the beer was so good! I'm excited to come back here next time I'm in town. Shout out to our waiter who was so nice and accommodating! Thank you!“

“Great Guerneville stop. Great food at great prices. Attention to detail is great, like the spoon holder for your coffee stirrer so it doesn't rest on the table...good size portions of quality ingredients for a great price. The staff is bilingual, attentive and efficient. You can tell this place appreciates and values their customers, a rarity these days which makes all the difference!“

“Gem of Bodega bay!! This restaurant was very delicious. Everything we ordered was delicious including the torta, tacos and burrito. The family that owned the restaurant were all very kind and did a great job answering all our questions since it was our first time. The location is great, the restaurant is decorated very cute. They had great music playing and the kiddos were able to be kids and enjoy themselves.“

“We love this spot in Valley Ford. Really good food and really nice folks taking care of you. It gets crowded here but worth any inconvenience it might cause. I've always been able to get a table with a group or a couple of spots at the bar without a lot of wait times. Oysters are great here of course but lots of other things that I have found all to be very tasty. Usual Sonoma county prices. We always go back.“
“Highly recommend boon eat + drink! We heard that if we come around 6-7pm on the weekend that there would be a long wait. We went about 10 minutes after opening on Sunday evening, and there were already 2 tables seated. The staff were so nice and attentive. There are two sections to the restaurant: indoors and a covered, heated patio area (they provide blankets). My only small complaint is that some of the tables are close together--I guess that really adds to the cozy vibe. The food was outstanding! In each dish, the different components of the dish balanced each other so well (sweetness + salty + tartness). That made the dishes feel less heavy. Appetizers: *BURRATA cranberry compote | pears | spiced walnuts | grilled bread 9/10 *CAULIFLOWER | sriracha vinaigrette | currant | sesame 8/10 (they ran out of brussel sprouts but the cauliflower was delicious) Mains: *seared DUCK BREAST | cauliflower puree | apricot marmalade | fried kale | pomegranate glaze 10000/10 *chili braised niman PORK shoulder | creamy polenta | fiesta slaw | ricotta salata + pepitas 7/10 They also had an assortment of alcohol to pair with your food :)“

“The food here is amazing. Also the smoothies as well. Yes it's not cheap. But you are paying for quality not quantity. Customer service is very good. The location is good. Atmosphere is very nice. The two times I have gone here I have sat outside. First time was during Covid and the second time was last Saturday.“
“I was hosting a birthday weekend at the Russian River. Spent a day canoeing (love Burke's Canoes!) and had asked the R3 to set up tables for my group of about 30. It couldn't have been more perfect! They set up the chairs behind the bar and we just had a terrific, day-after-the-river happy hour. Ron the bartender was fantastic and thoughtful. I can't recommend the place highly enough. Thanks, guys, for a memorable 60th!Also, we had the appetizers catered from the adjacent restaurant, the Rio Bistro. Paul and Christina did a fantastic job. We picked 5 apps, they served them hot -- just terrific service. Just a perfect day.“

“Great little caual seafood spot right on the harbor of Bodega Bay! Ginochios was exactly what I was expecting it to be with a no frills atmosphere serving up tasty food in a beautiful location. This place is certainly worth a visit if you find yourself in the area. Service: We were greeted by a friendly woman behind the counter when we entered. She made some light banter and explained what they were out of, but nothing really worth mentioning here. We went right at 11am when they transition from breakfast to lunch and they let us order from either menu. You order at the counter and they give you a buzzer which notifies you when your food is ready to pick up. Food: The high point of the experience! I ordered the Crab Sandwich and a side of fries and it was all pretty well above average. The sandwich was toasted on the outside with a nice crunch, while the crab inside was creamy, with great crab flavor and a hint of citrus. Not sure how they make it but it seemed to be their specialty and I would recommend it. Nothing too special about the fries but they were nicely seasoned with a good crisp. In general the prices are a little high for the style of food they are making, but I would say my meal was worth the money. Note, I went with 3 other people and they got Fried Egg Sando, Bacon Burrito, and Fish Tacos. None of them were too happy with their food, so I think your experience may vary depending on what you order. Do yourself a favor and order the Crab Sandwich. Ambiance: Again, nothing special here, but there are a variety of seating options depending on the weather and your preferences. When we visited it was a sunny day without much wind, so we sat on some benches in front of the restaurant. There is also indoor seating as well as outdoor seating within a courtyard which is protected by walls and windows in case it is windy.“
“Three of us ate lunch here as first time patrons. Each dish was absolutely delicious. The grilled chicken sandwich is the best lunch I’ve been served in years. Very personable service. We sat at an outside table with our two dogs, a very pleasant setting.“

“On March 15th at 6:30PM I walked into Northwood. Little did I know my life would change forever. Who ever was working the frier that night give them a raise! Clearly a person who is ain't anxious and is willing to let those little onion rings get to a beautiful glorious brown color. These were hands down the best onion rings of my life. Crunchy! Tasty! When you bite into them, I don't drag out the whole onion, this is key! The sign of a great cook working the frier! Thanks for changing my world.“

“Great find on a rainy day last week. Great kick back local atmosphere and the food/service was great. Had the special meatloaf. Great flavor along with a Caesar salad. Maybe a place you would pass by and think you would pass, but stop by if interested in a local flavor and not a polished feel. Looks really fun in warm weather with tons of outdoor seating. I’d stop again for sure“

“I love this cafe! Great local spot, that has all the joys of a local coffee shop like wifi, speciality drinks, and pastries. But on top of that, they also have tasty food options, including sandwiches, and good breakfast options (until 12:30pm).The staff is great, although it's not the fastest if you come while it's busy.If you are coming through Gurenville looking for a cafe, this is the place to stop by.“

“Foam on the short pull espresso was phenomenal paired alongside a Nutella croissant topped with toasted almonds and powder sugar on a Tuesday morning followed by a brief read of a book. Nothing like the patio where it all conjured a memorable experience. May this place remain a gem on the way to the Oceanside.“
