“I must admit I love non chain restaurants. Captin Crab is one of my families favorite seafood restaurants. My daughter got the crab leg boil, and she added boiled egg, corn, and potatoes. My husband and I got the fried shrimp and catfish basket, and we shared the cucumber salad. Our service was perfect and the food is always delicious.Parking: Plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“I stopped going to KFC, Chick-fil-A, and Popeyes for awhile. I avoid MSG. Those other brands are full of it. Its been proven that large amounts of MSG is bad for your health. Although I grew up on Church's Texas Chicken, they been having negative ratings for hygiene in town. I've heard a lot of good things about Krispy Krunchy Chicken. I wanted to know if it's legit. It's inside of Circle K. This is all new to me. I wasn't disappointed. It was better than what I expected. It's all in the breading. The thigh was the moistest. The crumbly honey biscuit is the best around, it's not dry what so ever like the other ones. I don't eat pork. I forget the jambalaya had andouille. Don't know what the sausage was made out of. Probably the red beans & rice is a better option. Besides that, everything was flavorsome. It's not Bonchon Chicken or Jollibee, but they make some good Cajun fried chicken from Louisiana. The only thing is the chicken is fried in peanut oil and that might be bad for your health, but it's not like a lot of shops use avacado oil so everything in moderation.“
“The food here was amazing. I will definitely be going back. I tried the ribs and macaroni and cheese. It was the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had from a restaurant, like homemade and delicious. I definitely will be trying everything on their menu first chance I get.The restaurant itself was spotless and comfortable. However, we did have to wait a bit on the long side for our food, but it was worth it in the end.“
“Come into this place and enjoy the spot. New seafood spot travelling from the east coast to the west coast. First Hook and Reel of the west coast. As with all the Sea life out there, Hook and Reel cannot get by without a mention of their water. Classic tall plastic cups and clear ice and crystal water if that is not the perfect start then I don't know what is. Cool vibes and great decor.“
“Originally from the Bay area and have been looking for a good seafood boil place other than the standard boiling crab. First time we went we had Andrew as our waiter and he was wonderful. Our next time in, Andrew was not there, unfortunately. However another male waiter was there and he was not very attentive or helpful. We had a sauce the first time, recommended by Andrew that was great. When we mentioned this to the other waiter he recommended the wrong sauce. I understand mistakes happen, but we asked for the right sauce and he was not apologetic or anything, and also charged us for it.We will go back again, but will make sure Andrew is working.“
“Always a hit for me whenever I go.Their seafood boil flavor is pack with a lot of flavor and spice. So if you can't handle the spice then I recommend to get mild. Medium spice is pretty spicy. The service is good. Kinda wish they provide gloves for the seafood boil.“
“Use the Groupon for a good chunk off!Food is not bad. Got the big city combo which was more than enough food for two. Garlic butter was mostly butter, needed more garlic! Shrimp was kind of mushy. Crab was tasty but not the freshest. Great service though.“
“Without a doubt I would return a thousand times the food is super delicious and the place is too pleasant without leaving on the one hand the service is the best and the person who attended me was super friendly she I think she is the best cashier I have found her name is ‘DI’ I must say that she has a very good connection with customers and gives a quality service“
“I was very surprised, as I was expecting it to be a lot more expensive. I am not a fancy guy, and I really enjoyed the fried seafood. A good amount of food for a very decent price.I can't speak to the fancier stuff, but I am glad I ate here, and next time I am down town for a convention, I will definitely eat her again.“
“Where have I been? Honestly, it's been years since I've eaten at Chason's. Why? I don't know. The service was nice and friendly. Reminded me of a place in League City, Texas near the Keemah Boardwalk. Great Cajun food. Anyway, the food is good, the atmosphere is very lovely and the prices are reasonable. I like this place and I won't be a stranger. The only reason why I won't rate 5 stars is because it's a very noisy place.“
