“It was so, so delicious that I stopped by every time I went to Great Mall. Savory fried rice, springy noodles, and moderately well-cooked steamed vegetables. In particular, the mango chicken and honey chicken are very delicious on the outside and inside. If you are Korean, I recommend the pepper chicken. You may have to wait a long time at the Japanese restaurants nearby, but at the Cajun restaurant, the food is prepared in advance in the kitchen, so it comes out relatively quickly.“
“Wow I was blown away! The workers are extremely nice. They gave us potatoes and corn on the house because we mis read what the meal comes with. We insisted they add it to our tab but they refused. That enough says a lot. The sauces are Aahhhmazzzingg. Almost like a glaze like sauce. So much flavor. Everything was fresh and tasteful. Recommend 10000 percent !“
“Hands down the best seafood restaurant in San Jose. The only problem you'll find is the long wait, but they do their best to accommodate and I can't blame them for being busy or popular! Our waiter, Dao or Del, not sure, was a superstar. He gave us great personalized recommendations and made sure to check on us occasionally in case we needed anything. He was very attentive and down to earth, a total pleasure to deal with. So far, I've been there about 8 or 9 times, and last night was the first time there was an actual issue, but I didn't realize that until this morning. One of the bags we ordered was the live crawfish, which the host mentioned to us when we were seated. Unfortunately, we didn't receive that order, and I only realized that this morning. I'm sure they didn't mean to rip us off or anything like that, it was definitely a mistake, but it IS disappointing to realize you spent money on food you never received. It would also be nice if the bathrooms had paper towels instead of hand dryers. Other than the missing crawfish and the hand dryers, everything else is close to perfection. Atmosphere is awesome, lots of TVs playing sports, and lots of happy families enjoying themselves. I really like how people can write their names and messages all over the walls, something authentic that is hard to describe about that!“
“I came here with my brother. I ordered the crawfish and got the spice level at medium. The flavors are what you'd expect from these places and I couldn't tell of the crawfish was frozen or not but I would've guessed it wasn't because the meat didn't stick to the shell. I was pleasantly surprised.“
“Yesterday was a mess for us. With our flight cancel, power is out...etc. We were looking for some comfort dinner after a whole day's work. We were friendly greeted by the server named Jamal. After knowing it was our first time to Kripsy Krunchy Chickent, Jamal introduced us the various type of combo they have, and recommended us to try the biscuits. The biscuits was one of the best biscuits I had ever, so puffy, buttery and warm. Jamal was also super helpful in giving us recommendation on the dipping sauce. After a day of exhausting chaos, being served by Jamal definitely light up our day.“
“Come early to avoid long wait times. They open at 3pm and got to eat right away. Ate with 4 other people. Pretty much worth the hype. Food was good. Got shrimp, calamari, potatoes, corn. Chicken wings were ok but I wouldn't order it again. They don't serve coffee witch is what my parents wanted. But overall it's definitely a must go to place in the bay area for kids, date,or just to eat good food. Price adds up so ordering more will cost you.“
“The BEST crawfish joint in San Jose hands down. Their sauces are flavorful, creamy, and always consistent. Kickin Crab, Clawshack, and Boiling Crab’s quality has drastically decreased over the years, leaving it pretty hard to find a decent seafood boil. Cajun Bistro never disappoints! It’s a little further from me than I’d like but it is worth the drive 100%“
“We got the combo with 2lb shrimp and 1lb clams with the house special sauce, rice, and cajun fries on the side. The price was right!! Significantly less expensive than Boiling Crab and Kickin Crab. The fries were great. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We loved the big chunky pieces of garlic in the house special sauce. We got medium spice cause I chickened out of trying the spicy level but I think next time I'll get the spicy level. The only thing I can say negatively is that they may want to cook the shrimp a bit less so that the shells don't stick when peeling. But over all, so so good!“
“Since they changed management, they seem to have more additional items on the menu. We often order cajun seafood to-go from this place. Only dine-in twice and the service was not that good and they seem to be short staff. Both times the servers seem tired and running around so it's not easy to get water or check. Even to pick up online order, at times we had to wait awhile as no one manning the cashier or the cashier couldn't handle several customers waiting to pay or pick up.The cajun seafood is fine, pretty much similar to any other cajun seafood places around here. The additional items are mostly good: fried calamari is good with generous portion, mac & cheese, cajun fries are not bad.Recently they added Vietnamese coffee & boba drinks to the bar. I tried the egg coffee and it's quite interesting. The boba drinks are so-so. Used to be able to order these drinks from their online order but now it's not there any more so not sure if they take it out of the menu or not.“
“I’d highly recommend this spot. The food was great and well seasoned. The staff were also super kind. I accidentally dropped one of the dishes I ordered and they immediately an offered a replacement free of charge. Will definitely be going back here : )“
“4.5/5 Everything here was cooked perfectly! Genuinely surprised how everything I ordered was cooked right, not overcooked nor undercooked. I ordered the snails, crawfish, shrimp, clams, and bo ne, and I'm impressed. I asked for a rare steak and they delivered. The only reason I knocked 0.5 from the overall score is because the service. Our server wasn't really attentive and slow at bringing out our needs. But otherwise, worth checking out this place if you're in the area. P.S. ambiance reminds me of Vietnamese late night drinking places.“
“Service and atmosphere was great and food was good but giving four stars as I have had better Cajun food at other joints. We went to this place thinking it was crackin' crab but it looks like the restaurant has exchanged hands. Overall, a good place to hangout with friends and have a good bite.“
“Wow this small restaurant impressed me first of all my wife and I really liked using the screen they have outside where we can order our own food and it goes straight to their kitchen the cook and the lady that where there where both really nice and gave us all that we requested to go along with our fish and chips and shrimp fried rice and chicken chowmain. My wife mix the rice and the chowmain together and the food was already really good but mixing them together was even better! We got the fish and chips for our son we are not home yet but I'm sure once he taste it he will really love it as well thank you to the 2 people working this night we will forsure be coming back very soon hopefully tomorrow lol“
“Why was there only one other party here? This is a great alternative to The Boiling Crab without the long wait. The shrimp was juicy and complimented by the garlic noodles with succulent steak. The meal was completed by the Cajun fries. The bib and gloves came in handy! The Roasted Crab is located in Mercado, a shopping area, and parking is free in the lot. Lots of places to walk off the seafood. I'd take advantage of their happy hour deals next time, but my meal was still worth it!“
“This is the typical spacious seafood boil place with brews, a full bar, and TVs to watch games. They have happy hour and it definitely has a fun vibe without being too hectic as the tables are nicely spaced. The bib with the crab is too cute and they have a large metal bucket on the floor for your shellings. We went for the weekday lunch specials but they also have $1 oysters on Tuesdays/Wednesdays.Between the two soup options, I liked the Cajun chowder better than the gumbo which is a rare occurence. The $13 shrimp seafood boil had 9 pieces of very large shrimp which is better than what I usually see. I got medium spicy which tasted mild, so you can definitely crank the spiciness up a notch. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of was the fried oysters. They were quite small and had a lot of breading. The service was amazing from the hostess who helped me adjust my hair clip to the two servers.“
