“I haven't had much pizza while in the Bay Area but this place absolutely rocks East Coast style pies. They had slices at 9:30 in the PM and tasted incredibly fresh. Decent beer selection and great atmosphere makes this a place that definitely warrants a return trip.“

“The friendliest staff in the city work here. Also, a killer cocktail menu and the food was superb, we had a proper Guinness with a beef stew and fresh soda bread and it was absolutely delicious, one of our favorite date night spots in the city!“
“Absolutely living up to it’s name and it’s claims. As a tourist from Europe, mostly familiar with Scotch and Irish whiskey, I asked for something special from the US and I wasn’t disappointed. Thanks guys! Nice ambience and tasteful timeless interior design too.“

“I've had the good fortune of experiencing The Napper Tandy both as a patron as well as a music performer. As a patron, I can tell you that the food here is the BEST pub food you will ever find (I particularly recommend the reuben - the best I've ever had, hands down!)! As a performer, the staff as well as the crowd have always been extremely friendly, accommodating, and inviting. There's just something about the vibe of this place that seems to make people happy! The managers, Marissa and Nicola, are are absolute gems of human beings and their staff reflect their personal awesomeness! I'm looking forward to my next meal as well as my next show at The Napper Tandy. Hope to see ya there!“

“We made a detour on the way to our air bnb in order to drop in at the Monk's Kettle. This was my first trip to this part of SF, but my friend had come several times over the years and decided we needed a burger and beer. Nice outside Patio - a favorite on a decent day to be outside, great food, and a good craft beer selection, including Pliny the Elder. Garlicy cheesy fries were delicious as was the burger..“

“This is a straight up city corner bar that you stumble into before/after doing something else. The bartenders are pretty nice and the drinks are standard. It does sort of feel like you're in an old ship with the U-shaped wooden bar. This is a solid bar hopping spot if you're just roaming around the area living your best life.“
“If you are in the know, Black Horse London Deli is the smallest coolest bar in SF and around the world possibly. The King, James has run this place for a couple of decades, it is the most unique bar spot in SF, fits only 2 handfuls of dedicated patrons, a special brand of humans indeed, the service is unsurpassed. After shelter in place, James turned it into a gourmet sandwich and hot dog kitchen, this King knows how to cook as well. So all you peeps who uses Postmates, grubhub etc. This place rocks and the food he serves is just super delicious, end of story“

“This place has such a great Irish ambiance! They always have all the games on, such as Premier League games, NFL games, Rugby games, March Madness, etc.! The Guinness pour is excellent! And they have additional Irish beers as well. They serve bar food that is above average. Great bar that is worth the visit thanks to the variety and service.“

“Best damn brewery in SF. This place had a cozy neighborhood feel while being friendly and welcoming to guests from all over. The brewer has decades of experience and has pioneered a true onsite microbrewery atmosphere with a dynamic tap list and simple yet tasty food menu. Perfect for after work drinks or grabbing a 4 pack of freshly made cans to go!“

“My friends and I rented out the private room for a joint birthday party, and it was awesome! The service was great, the room was all ready for us when we arrived and we just bought a couple of beer pitchers so people didn't have to keep going to downstairs for drinks. We had a great time, we will definitely be back!“

“I've been a Shotwells customer for over a decade. They have a great selection of beer, a pool table, a conversational atmosphere, and great bartenders and regulars. If you live in the neighborhood, you owe it to yourself to stop by, enjoy a pint, a good conversation, and on a sunny day, be sure to sit outside in their beautiful parklet.“

“Great spot. The bartenders and regulars are always nice, it's never terribly packed without being totally empty, they bring in vendors to do free tastings of liquors, allow dogs and outside food, and it's got a cool almost saloon-like vibe to it. They have a decent selection of beers and of cocktails. I'd specifically recommend their old fashioned because they do them well.“
“Amazing cocktails great atmosphere . Hidden gem in Richmond FOR SURE!!! Make sure you have you id yes they card no mater of age. Take it as a compliment lol but don't give the door man a hard time about it he's just doing his job!“

“Joe is great. After our Uber drive dropped us in the wrong place, Joe would tell us how to get there, he took us there. It was only at the end of the block, but meant the world to us. He wouldn’t accept a tip, so went back to have a beer after dinner. He remembered our name. He is the true meaning of customer service and I’ve told all of my friends to go see him at the Showdown. Thanks again, Joe“

“I cannot say enough good things about this place. If I wasn’t heading back home tomorrow, I would go back to this place for a third time. The food is phenomenal, the staff are all VERY kind and courteous and the small little pub transports you across the pond. The grilled chicken is to die for - whether it’s on the chicken sandwich or Cobb salad I cannot say a single bad thing about this place. An absolute gem worth stopping in to experience!“

“Out with Hoboken Joe leaving our mark on a few watering holes, even had a few with Crazycat and his lil Pleasure Point Attagirl down at Goosebump Charlie's. Then Attagirl yells out she wants a big ol sausage!Well, that was our clue to Lickity Split outa there, so we headed straight to Schroeder's for a Bratwurst. And, I'll tell you what....it was Amazing! 5 Stars ☆☆☆☆☆“
“A well located hotel with everything you would need for a short stay in San Francisco. Good size, clean and comfortable room. Efficient check in and check out process. Games room and cafe on site but we did not use. Only negative was the noise coming from the street outside especially the street cleaning at 4am.“

“Solid beer bar with some very unique beers, mostly local, but clearly some small run beers. I had a 'sour flight' which had 4 small pours of very tasty sour beers that were interesting and tasty. It was a bit pricey for just the 4 pours, but it was still cool.“

“Kensington Circus Pub is such a hidden gem & most certainly one of our favorite neighborhood places to tuck into. It's not only a fun place to watch a game with friends, but also just for date night to cozy up to the bar for comfort food, a cocktail or freshly poured Guinness, and conversation. Love the British pub feel! Food highlights: corn fritters, thick cut fries, the clam chowder, Caesar salad, Shepherds pie, fish tacos, tuna melt, B.L.A.T. (bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato), and thick cut pork chop to name a few. As you can see, we've been eating here for a few years - the food is always consistent, fresh, hearty portions, and honestly there's such a variety it keeps the overall ordering experience just so fun! The servers make you feel like family and the ambience is lively, especially when sports are on or live entertainment (check their website for the event calendar). We recently stopped in on a weekend evening for dessert, drinks, and music. They have what's called "England's most popular sticky toffee pudding" with a tagline that reads "so good that we have it flown in"...omg they aren't joking! It's so delicious - warm, in a bath of butterscotch sauce with vanilla ice cream and whip cream...yum! Can't rave about this community joint enough - with indoor/outdoor seating, kiddo/dog approved, ample areas for street parking, we'll see ya again for tunes and toffee pudding soon!“

“Typically neighborhood bar. No food served. Basic fun place. Ppl come here to watch the games, have a great time, and live their life. I'm not too impressed but it will work while I wait for a friend. I'm early for the Halloween Party“
“I'm sure Roy, the owner, could give two hoots about yelp, but man! Thank you for your hospitality on Turkey day. I hope you and the gents had a great afternoon and we'll see you soon! I'm glad that you were open and cheers to your friend and World Series champion, Dusty Baker!“
“Beer is always best fresh, and I thoroughly enjoyed my weekday lunch visit. It's basically just a kiosk take out window in front of the Ferry Building. Lots of seating, both in the shade and in the sun. They have maybe 8 taps plus a decent selection of cans. I wasn't sure what I wanted, so the bartender was nice enough to walk me through a few different beers with samples and descriptions. I settled on the ANIMAL IPA with my empanada.“

“Always a 5 star for this place. Full transparency, I've been coming here for years! I love local places and places that transcend time. The grill is back open!!! Yes, that's right! Limited menu but enough for everyone. I left full and satisfied. Val is still the GOAT as one reviewer posted. Love her!! She is quick to greet you and keep you served. I love the local crowd and tourists alike. Great place for any and all. Please stop in. The space has great character. You'll love it and will want to return!“
“If you're looking for a "Cheers"-type tavern with regulars who look epoxied to their seats and an interior heavy on vintage atmosphere, this neighborhood bar fits the bill. It's been in the same location since Prohibition was repealed, and the history of the bar is described in meticulous detail on the pub's website. This is definitely no trendy pick-up joint for Gen Z drop-ins. As you might expect, they have a robust calendar of events encompassing bingo, trivia, live music, and dance parties. However, more important to me, they make a half-dozen specialty cocktails and a half-dozen Bloody Mary variations. I've enjoyed the $10 Palomarg, a refreshing hybrid of a Paloma and a Margarita (photo: and the $10 Madonna Inn, a bright mix of rum, Campari, ginger beer, and orange bitters (photo: They don't know my name, but they're always glad I came. “I didn't like the cocktail they made me, but if you want simple drinks or beer, it's a nice, lively spot. Lots of college kids, of course, since it's right by UC Berkeley. I like the fire they have indoors, plenty of outdoor seating, too.“
“We picked this bar at random after walking around downtown. My gf told them that she's fat, out of shape, and it's dark, so she thought we were in the right place. The staff made us feel at home and even gave recommended places for food. McTeague's is great and we will come back again!“

“HOW FUN! I love to play and to drink and this is everything out together in one. We celebrated my bf’s bday and had a bunch of kids with us. We worked directly with Ash, the manager, who set us up with games and even got us our own tables. The kitchen put out food fast and both adults and kids were happy. I love the soyrizo nachos. Excellent hospitality! Also love me a good photobooth :) wide selection of beers and cocktails - something for everyone!“
