“I'm quite selective when it comes to Thai food, and I find that a Thai restaurant's drunken noodle dish is a reliable indicator of their overall food quality. It should possess the perfect blend of consistency, flavor, quality, and spiciness. I would easily rate their drunken noodle a perfect 10 out of 10 in all these aspects. If you happen to be in the area, I highly recommend giving it a try.“
“Quick, efficient, and already get my order right! Nestled in-between a dumpling and ramen shop, makes it a great one stop for all things yummy! Parking can get ehh from target but you'll definitely find a spot. The restaurant was very clean and they had some seating outaide but not enough for large groups. I'm really picky with the consistency of my boba and they always have it on point here. Some places vary depending on who makes it but they have it down. I also like the different special drinks they have to offer that are not on the main menu“
“My favorite boba place in SD. The cocoa latte with tiramisu foam is a must! However, be aware that this place gets CRAZY busy. When I came on a Saturday afternoon, I had to wait about 35 minutes in line, and then another 10–15 minutes after ordering. If you want to avoid lines, go during less busy hours like a weekday afternoon rather than evening or weekends.“
“Menu needs a legend listed! DC stands for decaf. The Peach Paradise is delicious (but can you adjust sweetness? She didn't ask us). The natural foaming is so pretty. Sugar Moon is open late and is cute to hang out in. There's a restroom too, so it's comfortable.“
“Four of us had great gelato, and everyone loved what we got. Service was awesome, and I’d share what we got, but it sounds like they switch out the flavors daily, so no way to know if you’d find it… pina colada, salted carmel, a special which may have been like a German chocolate cake mix, and chocolate…“
“Very pretty shop. Ordered and then half the order was out of stock after we had paid. Ordered a blended iced taro drink. I didn't know it had boba. I didn't want boba. The boba was hot, so the drink melted quickly. The taste was good but overall the drink was not very satisfying. The staff was friendly but lacked knowledge of the availability of product, and also didn't know what creamer was for coffee.“
“Very cute boba tea place located in La Costa Town Square. Walked in and saw a good amount of small tables to sit at and a couple iron tables outside as well. The menu was on the wall by the front counter/register. Made it easy to decide what we wanted while we waited our turn to order. There was also a self-service kiosk by the entrance as well-which we initially didn't notice. There's a good amount of various drinks, offering only one size, and price is comparable to other boba tea places. There's also a case of baked goodies at the front counter as well. The girl working was very nice and friendly and even though she was by herself, she was very efficient in taking orders and getting the drinks out in a timely manner. We tried the Creamy Jasmine milk tea with boba and the Taro Lover with chunks of taro. They were both very delicious! With the perfect amount of sweetness according to both our tastes. I also appreciated that the girl made sure I was ok with the taro chunks that come in my drink, the Taro Lover. All in all, we had a great first visit and happy we decided to try this place. We already plan to go back in the following weeks to try more of their specialties.“
“I love Happy Lemon, can never go wrong. They adjust sweet level / ice, and the drinks taste great. I usually get the C4 (Kumquat, no lychee) and it's such a treat friendly staff as usual, and most locations I've been to are usually busy. Their waffle puffs are also so gooood... this location in Carlsbad is perfect, at the mall.. grab your drink and shop! Great vibes!“
“Tiny hole in the wall yogurt shop in Carlsbad Village with the BEST peanut butter yogurt EVER. Omg I want to eat all of it. It's so smooth and delicious!! It's worth stopping in while at the farmers market on Wednesday afternoon!!“
“Fast food, didn't appreciate not knowing what to do with waste and being ridiculed by another customer. I thought it was pricey for what we received, but everything tasted good! Would not come here again because the quality is fast food and you're paying for sit down table service.“
“We honestly drove 20 minutes out of our way to come and eat here because the reviews were so good and it did not disappoint. An absolutely delicious place for poke. I’m convinced if you didn’t like your poke bowl here, you probably just built your own and made terrible choices because they’re amazing and the portions are outstanding.Parking: We came on a weekday evening and there was lots of parking“
“Japanese cheesecake is slowly becoming a popular item in the SD area. Indulging in Mad for Cheesecake's Double Fromage Cheesecake was a delight for the senses. This delectable treat surpassed expectations with its heavenly combination of textures and flavors. The richness and thickness of the cheesecake were truly satisfying, creating a luxurious experience with every forkful. The dual layers of cheese offered a perfect balance, each bite unfolding a symphony of creamy goodness. Having savored the excellence of the Double Fromage Cheesecake, I am eagerly anticipating exploring more offerings from Mad for Cheesecake in the future. I look forward to embarking on a flavorful journey through their menu.“
“Sindi’s is my go to for a quick and delicious Asian food meal. My kids love it too. I’m keen on their crispy rice w tuna. I can’t get enough. Everything there is good though. Boboa teas, salads, Spring Rolls, Japanese curry (my son’s favorite) spam musubi. Not a bad item in the menu.“
“Came here at 1230 on 2/23 Friday for 2 pick up drinks, and the lady working there was just the best boba barista ever!! The drinks she made for me today was the best of drinks I’ve ever had here, and I’m so impressed by her customer service! She’s so professional an friendly and I highly recommend :)“
“Great friendly service. Download app for reward programs. Tried mashed taro 50% sweet which was perfect for me. Bobas were soft and chewy. Drink tasted really good. Like the chunks of taro inside the drink. Will def come back and try other flavors.“
“I did not go to this place but this keeps popping up for me to review on Google. One day I might check it out but sadly Google is broken and what is not broken it's getting made worse by the greedy Executives at Google. Really sad because Google owns pretty much everything throughout the world yet all they want to do is find ways to make more money and I don't hear anything of Google giving back anywhere to any City Library School Hospital nothing.“
“Great service, quick to get the food out, and food is delicious. I'm just glad there's finally a place that serves Hawaiian food in the area. The katsu curry is my staple order here. If you're tired of the regular options around the are, I highly recommend this place fo a change up.“
“Last Saturday marked 15 years of togetherness for me and my wife. To celebrate the milestone, we went to the Carlsbad Premium Outlets to shop for a perfect gift.As we were walking by from the parking We came across Tea Monks conveniently located at the corner. We were all in to try green milk tea and loved how refreshing it turned out. I loved the vibe of this place with a monk mural on the wall.Try it to find your favorite drink. I will be back because a happy wife is a happy life.“
“I had a great experience here at Happy Lemon! Despite having many customers, they processed my order extremely quickly, and it was ready within minutes. By the time I got my table set up outside, I realized they finished my order. Their menu was very diverse and had a lot of options for both food and drink. The ordering process was very quick and efficient. The food was delicious as well. Overall I had a great experience.“
“A staple place for boba and fast service when we go in the evenings after dinner! The BOBA is always FRESH and never hard, just right. I got the Brown Sugar Milk tea, and it was delicious! Nice people who help w/your order, and you can never forget the name, which is hilarious and awesome at the same time. ?Kid-friendliness: They have games you borrow to play while you sit and drink your boba in the shop if you want. Also, the place is kept nice and clean as well.“
“Had spicy chicken bulgogi BiBimBob yesterday and I was very happy. Portion, seasoning and spicy level was on it for me. They provided extra gochujang which I didn't need. I am super picky about poke, so will give it a try and report back.“
“Check this place out for fantastically good, fresh, authentic Korean comfort foods. My wife and kids ordered the boneless chicken and ribeye bulgogi, and it did not disappoint. Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was great, the staff was very attentive and polite.Overall a great experience and great food. Pricing is on par with a traditional quick eats restaurant atmosphere. This is not fast food. You can expect to get a good portion of great food for less than you'd pay at a large traditional restaurant.“
“Delicious vegetarian sandwich, has the farm fresh touch, homemade chimichurri was excellent. Great atmosphere, lots of fun beverages. I met the owner there, I could see how she takes pride in what she does and the community. I prefer to support owner-run small businesses rather than chains. And it’s easy to do when they make such good food!Vegetarian options: Great veggie options for sandwich and beverages.“
“Wow, did we find a great place. My daughter had an açaí bowl and I had a Moonlight Mango smoothie with pea protein added. Both were ready quickly and tasted so yummy. I had some nutrition questions about my smoothie and they were answered to my satisfaction. They have a good sized area to sit and enjoy your selection. I can’t wait to come back and try another menu item. I highly recommend this place for a great snack stop.“
