Great atmosphere, very good cakes. Good also for lunch. Coffee is ok. We like to hang out there, sit outside, see the trains and the bicycles. One of the favorite spots on the CA-101.
This is a wonderful spot to enjoy a coffee, indulge in some delicious food, and soak up the inviting atmosphere, or simply watch the world go by. Parking might be a bit tight, but aside from that, it's a fantastic location. We had brunch here, and the breakfast burritos with tomato salsa were excellent—just the right size, with a perfect balance of ingredients. The Pannikin is a great place with a great selection of tea. I don't drink coffee but my friends love it. The pastries, cakes, and pies are all made daily and I love the vibe. There's outdoor seating as well as indoor, there's outdoor seating on the balcony and benches out in the sunlight. Quality product with a quality setting.I've been getting the key lime pie recently and I like how it's not too sweet. It pairs well with a chai latte.
