“My friend and I came here on a Friday night to enjoy some cheesesteaks. I ordered the Pepper Cheesesteak which had sweet peppers, grilled onions and I chose cheese wiz for my cheese. My friend ordered the Mushroom cheesesteak which had mushrooms, grilled onions and he chose cheeze wiz for the cheese. Then we shared a side of fries. One of the better cheesesteak shops in the North County San Diego and overall the Greater San Diego area too.“
“I get Charley's nearly every week on Wednesdays, since I always visit the mall on Wednesdays. I made it a "tradition" of sorts. After a while, however, I would go to order my food (anytime between 12-2), and for maybe a whole month, whenever I went to the food court, there was no one working around. I'd wait for a few minutes, and not one person would come out the back. That was really disappointing, and I was super frustrated, especially since there was no sign up explaining what was going on. However, a little while ago they started back up, and they've been better than ever. Not exactly anything to especially applaud, but nowadays, that's all you need: a restaurant doing its job, and doing it well. There have been a few occasions where the staff has particularly impressed me, just in their demeanor and sweetness. But I really recommend Charley's. I eat here VERY often, and since that month of not knowing what was going on, I've had good experiences all around.“
