We’re from out of state but we’ve made it a point to come to Hungry Hawk on both of our recent trips to San Diego. Great wine, beautiful patio, and incredibly friendly staff. We enjoyed our tastings from Jeff today and we couldn’t get enough of the Recon Red, the Cabernet Franc and Sauvs, and the Carménère. Oh and the Sauvignon Blanc! Truly delightful. Outstanding experience at Hungry Hawk Vineyards & Winery! The team at Hungry Hawk made a special event for us great, and their tours are fun. While small, the team at the vineyard and in the winery are knowledgeable, passionate, and interesting to talk to about their craft. Scheduling was easy, they were responsive, and friendly.

Beautiful Winery in the Hills of Escondido, very peaceful experience sitting out on the Terrace, comfortable chairs and tables, even blankets provided which was much appreciated with the cool breeze.
