“A toast to the New Year! What could be better than wine? A winery review, perhaps. Rancho Guejito opened its doors to the public five years ago.The property is made up of estate grapes and a grass-fed cattle ranch . The 32,000 acre rancho is part of a land grant from Mexico to the United States. The winery and vineyard offer tastings, which can be waived with a wine club membership. The cattle ranch provides for a portion of the food served on- site and they offer a meat program to take home. This has become my new favorite local spot to enjoy on the weekend. What is there not to like? Unique Varietals Wine Club (many benefits) Food On-Site Meat Program (beef variety) Live Music Hayrides (with wine pours) Open Seating Holiday Markets (change with each season) and Pet Friendly! I love their wines, my favorite is the red, Terret Noir. I love their meat, we make baja dogs and pot roasts. And, I love their atmosphere on-site, picnic tables spread out, music in the air and the hayride is sure to be a highlight for all Note: The markets here have an array of quality vendors. The Christmas market example included everything from honey, paint your own ornaments to photos with Santa! Cheers to the New Year! #RanchoGuejito # SanPasqualValley #TerretNoir #BeansandHanks #OnA HayrideTogetherWithYou“
“LOVE going to Mia Marie’s for an afternoon with friends. The atmosphere and view are incredible and the wine is fabulous. On weekends they have live music and wine vendors and we never feel like they’re so busy we have a “2 hour table limit”. Their staff is all incredibly sweet and knowledgeable and the tasting events are fantastic. We stay, we drink, we hang, we enjoy the scenery and music, and it’s always an amazing time.“
“It's no secret there are some great wineries in/around North County San Diego, but this one is truly exceptional. Everyone we encountered was genuinely friendly and inviting, especially the owner who invited our 5-year old to help her round up the pigs on the property. The space was peaceful with plenty of outdoor space. We enjoyed both wines we tried and will certainly be back very soon!“
“This is a casual little winery that's not located on a vineyard, but the wine selection was good and there was a good amount of space to enjoy a little picnic basket with our wine tasting. Staff was nice too. I recommend the red flight.“
“This past Sunday (May 30) we headed out to find some local wineries. We stop in by chance and completely enjoyed our time and wine. We are from Tucson, 40 minutes from 25 top wineries, so we have lots of experience with good wines. zXq stacks up nicely against any of our local wineries. We will definitely be back!“
“Had a great time here on a sunny Sunday. We did the tasting, and then bought a glass. The tasting was all Reds (with one rose) and I liked all of them. Plenty of places to chill, and they appear to be ok with food/coolers/picnicsI would love to come here for a long afternoon and bring a group“
“This is an amazing winery. Stumbled upon this gem after spending the day at the Safari Zoo Park. Wonderful wines (didn’t taste a bad one and hard to choose a favorite) and ambiance. Loved it so much that we became members of the Thirsty Kettle Club and shipped 6 fabulous bottles home. We spent some time talking w the owner, Jeannine…so personable and a true class act. Told us of the story of how they came about, what an incredible family story. To Mike the winemaker: great job!! Your bottles are fabulous!!! ❤️“
“We did a winery tour and this was our favorite spot hands down. The views, holy crap. This is the main reason we came initially. But the people working were all so helpful and kind and the wine was excellent. I liked one better than the next. Definitely a relaxing atmosphere. Would have been cool if they had live music when we went. Definitely worth checking out. Thank you for such a great day!“
