“We loved itWe ordered and split a few items and we were very happy with everything we tried.I ordered the Garanchas, I'm not usually one for ordering ground beef as a meat option, but everything was very well seasoned and the portion was generous, we all enjoyed them.We got two tamales, the Chicken Masa and Chuchitos. The Chicken Masa was so fluffy and moist and the Chuchitos was cooked perfectly as well, and for $3.50, you can't beat it. Then we got a plate of three papusas, one of our favorite foods. We got cheese and jalapenos, pork and cheese, and a plain bean papusa. They were cooked nice and crispy on the outside, not too doughy, not too greasy, perfect masa to filling ratio and the curtido was fresh and crisp with the perfect amount of oregano (a lot ?).We ordered some tres leches to-go, so I'm not sure how it tastes, but it looks beautiful, topped with a strawberry drizzle ?I would definitely recommend stopping in and giving it a try whether you're familiar with Latin American food or not!“

“It's a taco truck on a relatively busy road, so the atmosphere isn't really a thing to be concerned about.I tried a couple of items, a shredded beef California burrito and a carnitas chimichanga.The California burrito was large and the shredded beef was very good, but the filling seemed to be mostly potato (fries). It might have been the way it was rolled, with all of the meat at one side, but that's just how it seemed to me. I don't know if I'd go for that one again or not, it is almost a wash for me.The chimichanga was loaded with pork, the meat was very flavorful, and the tortilla was nice and crispy without being burned. The container ended up with quite a lot of clear-ish liquid though, seeming to be from a combination of the salsa and the fresh tomatoes. This did soak into the bottom of the tortilla after a bit, but it was still delicious. I would definitely order the chimichanga again.“
“Curtain Cookin' Nook knows how to cook one of the best burgers in the area, with quality ingredients. Wagyu beef. Locally sourced greens. If I need something healthier side because I've doubled down on some of of the breweries delicious libations (or started with totchos, give me all of those!!), Hum Yum bowl (I like to add shrimp), which has a fantastic vinaigrette.With meat, vegetarian, and vegan options, they keep everyone in my party happy. “The tacos are delicious, ordered buche and tripitas. They are served with salsa, roasted onions and limón. Added bonus Chile toreado. If you are in Eureka stop in and give them a shot. There is ample parking and a small seating area. Service is excellent. No reservations but you can order for pickup“
