“We had our wedding reception here back in September and it was a hit with all of our guests. Everything from the food to the cocktails to the service was exceptional for our special day and we couldn’t be happier. One of the things I greatly appreciate with the owner ( Sommer) and event coordinator/ GM (Greg) is the consistency of care, attention to detail, professionalism and staff friendliness. They just get the hospitality business and they understand what it means to create a welcoming environment from top to bottom. “I've only come here a couple times but every time I did I've really enjoyed it with my family. The restaurant has a close and welcoming touch and makes me feel welcomed. The food is good too. The young ladies at the front are always are so sweet and attentive and take good care of the customers that come in like me and my family.“

“Only giving one star on atmosphere because it was the most ridiculously hot, uncomfortable, miserable dining experience we have ever had. Not sure if no AC is their thing or what, but they clearly had power when we dined there. We couldn’t enjoy our meal due to how suffocatingly hot the dining room was.That aside, the food was absolutely wonderful. But we are hesitant to return since our dining experience was truly the most uncomfortable one either of us has ever experienced. We just wanted to eat and leave as quickly as possible. But maybe that’s the point?Parking: You may have to walk a bit. Parking lot is plentiful, but close-up parking isn’t typical.“

“Love this place! Always a warm welcome busy place. The staff is always super nice & attentive. This is my #1 place in Roseville for breakfast & lunch. Spice your day up omelette is great! 9/10 California Benedict 10/10 I recommend getting extra hollandaise sauce. LOVE the veggie sandwich, packed with so many veggies & delicious flavors! 10/10 Fries 10/10 The loosen your belt turkey melt is awesome too! 9/10, just add avocado & it makes it a 10! They're always busy but worth the wait! Indoor & outdoor seating, always feels very clean. I've even had catering done here & the whole process is a breeze! Great food, great hospitality!“

“My third or fourth visit to Hawks. I've never been disappointed, and tonight was a memorable experience. Party of four for early dinner. The mushroom soup amuse bouche was wonderful. White Fog Farm lettuce salad was (reportedly) excellent. The Caesar salad was tasty but the creamy dressing revealed it as an imitation Caesar (in my opinion); the saving grace was the white anchovy on top. (I am a Caesar salad purist and I am frequently unimpressed; woe is me.). Entrées: Duck--excellent! Short ribs--excellent! Steelhead--excellent! Lamb loin--excellent and more! Wine: Fair--a Tuscan red, good but overpriced for the quality. Dessert: We have had the "beignets" before--these are tasty enough but they are NOT in any sense beignets--just sugary doughnut holes with caramel sauce on the side. What they called an entremet might, in a pinch, be considered a "deconstructed" entremet--but an entremet it was not. The parts were, however, very good, if little more than a small mound of fond chocolate with cocoa nibs and a bit of white filling. We were very pleased with the unexpected serving of two extra dessert items, quartets of little chocolate dollops on shortbread and Sangria-infused gel cubes--very playful and delightful. Decent late-bottled vintage port and good tea and coffee. The service was spot on--absolutely top-notch. We were VERY pleased with service and atmosphere. Despite the scattered culinary contradictions, I say : Go to Hawks--time well spent.“

“Great spot, good food, decent prices, super quick service. This spot is next to my work and I have been curious about it and was in the mood for something different, this place nailed it. I went with the butter chicken, hefty helping served over rice with a decent size side salad for like $11. I ate about half of it and will be eating the other half for dinner, fully recommend this spot.“

“Sat at the bar to watch PGA golf, service was excellent. Very tentative. Great for sporting events and team meetings. FYI: A little noisy, if you don’t like it loud. They go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your food or they’ll make it right.“

“I'm embarrassed to say this but I grew up in Orangevale and this was my first time here! And all I can say is WOW! I have been missing out! Maria was our server and she was amazing. So nice and attentive. Great service. And the food? I can't find a monte cristo anywhere. It was soooo good! Prices were great and you get so much food! We will definitely be back!“

“Their Pollen in Love cocktail was really good. One of the bartenders also made me an excellent Last Word and even gave me a small straight pour of some green chartreuse because I mentioned I never had the opportunity to try that liqueur before. The bartenders here are very clearly talented professionals and they have a great liquor selection.“

Had the bacon on side since vegetarian.Vegetarian options: Anything can be altered to vegetarian.We had the brussel sprouts altered, they were amazing.Pizza and other options.Parking: Parking available within the plaza.“

“I haven't ordered food from here yet. I only came to play pool and darts so far with the spouse and son. Son was home from UCLA. Good place to catch up and have fun. Son had fun as well. He'd never played pool before. I Don't know what kind of reputation this place had before the new management took over a few years ago in reading the reviews. We'll be back for sure.“

“My kids actually chose this place for my birthday dinner! I was a little skeptical because of the name of the restaurant and the fact that we were bringing our young grandkids. All I could envision was a crowded bar/pub type place that catered to the college crowd. Was I ever wrong! It wasn't too crowded, and we were able to get right in, no wait. Our large party was seated at a table plenty big enough to accommodate us comfortably. The menu was diverse enough so that it had something for everyone, including a kids menu. Our drinks were delivered promptly, and our food order followed shortly afterward. We ordered burgers, the Ribeye French Dip, Cali Chicken Sandwich, and other things, along with several appetizers. I highly recommend the Ribeye French Dip. Super flavorful and tender (even when I had to reheat the last half the next day). Service was over the top good, with friendly staff who made great suggestions. There was even live music that was actually entertaining.We've added University of Beer to our list of fun places to go. Don't be afraid of taking the kids!“

“My friend said the gluten-free pizza was the best she has ever had. This may be hard to believe, but I am the only one in our group that likes anchovies :) The cook gave me some on a separate plate to add to my slices . We all thought the pizza was the best we have had in a long time .“

“This was our first time at Fourk. The food was outstanding, wine pairing was spot on, service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was comfortable. The noise level was low enough that we could have a conversation at the table. I can't wait to come back and bring a group of friends.“

“Matteo's Pizza & Bistro is a lovely classy restaurant that has a beautiful indoor and outdoor dining area. I especially love to come here on warm summer nights and sit outside with the hanging bulbed lights, water wall and lush vegetation surrounding the outdoor patio area. It's wicked pleasant. Their menu is a good size and they offer specials and change up dishes based on whats in season. I really like their pasta dishes especially. This visit I hot the scallops and they were summer yummy and sliced like butter. I also got to try the salmon tacos which were good and satisfying and their roasted beet salad. That reminds me, I love their salads too. They also sell wine and if there's a wait it's fun to wander around their wine display and check out the different labels. Wonderful servers too and host. “It's right next to the Residence Inn, so you can walk.You can get a huge burger + sides for under $15 excluding tip.Very delicious.There are a variety of alcoholic beverages, so it's a good place to go with a light heart when you don't feel like going far.“

“Been here twice in last 3 weeks with my buddy and neighbor Mike. The food was pretty good for a sports bar. Our server the first time was Candace and last night Thursday September 28 was Teresa. Both times the servers were outstanding. They each were fun, friendly and very attentive. They both really added to an already good vibe. Loads of TV's and good viewing layout although the sound was very uneven between tv's and couldn't hear the broadcast for the Packer game. We expect to become regulars here because of the food and the servers. Hope they can sort of the audio issues. Really a fun place !!! Ron K.“

“We really enjoy our visits here, we have come by for lunch and dinner. It's a pretty chill place normally. We did come by on a Friday night and they had karaoke in the bar, which was fun to hear. The manager really helped us when had an issue with the food. The item was removed from the check and a glass of wine was comped. Really appreciated how quickly he responded. Whenever we are in town, this place is a definitely on our list.“

“This was our first visit to Rosie's. We stopped in to this family run spot for breakfast last week. The space has some kitschy little touches like a silverware clock and outlet plug ins in the booths??? It could definitely benefit from a little face lift. Service was another area that could have used a little improvement. We were greeted and seated and then left to our own for a bit. The menu options are plentiful which is not always a good thing. The food was mostly hit or miss for us. The hash browns on the Benedict are very pretty but were left uneaten due to the stale grease taste. The scramble was pretty tasty. This is a 3.5 star review for us which I will round up for being a family run establishment.“

“Nice and cute place, large beer selection, menu has everything (but no vegetarian food). The service was good and they were very helpful with suggesting drink and food. Prices are reasonable. Restroom was clean too.The only thing I could say is the (live) music was very laud, the singer/player was doing a great job but it was a bit laud.Overall nice place and I will definitely come back.Vegetarian options: Except French fries and garlic bread there is no other option, everything has a kind of meet.“

“This is a great place to stop by if you want a hearty meal with large portions. It's like eating at your grandma's house. Everything was delicious, and I love the charm of the diner. Service was quick, and I never had an empty cup of coffee.“

“Very nice place near by our house but they will charge you extra for just using card. The price of the foods is decent. They should let people know that they will charge you extra if you use credit card. Otherwise, people can pay with cash. We love to support local but not when the charge you 2-3 dollars just for using card. We can go to chili's and get better deals and they won't charge you for using card.“

“I’ve been here several times and they never disappoint. Their Bloody Mary you can’t have just one. Bring your appetite because everything on their menu is on par. Their staff are all friendly and courteous. The owner is the best. I’ve been coming here a long time so this is one of my go to spots for brunch, happy hour, lunch or dinner and drinks. “What can I say about it that hasn't been said before? Got a burger since it was advertised as their award winning burger and it was excellent. My wife got tomato soup as well as a meat quiche. I should've gotten the meat quiche. That was also really good as well. To top it I got a bloody Mary. They seem like they didn't mix it well and I felt all the alcohol was on top. No points taken off though since it was good anyways.“

“This is my new favorite spot to come. Christian is just amazing, Jennifer is a doll, and a wonderful, friendly waitress. Quinn was way too good. “This restaurant is a place to visit! I've never had a meal here that wasn't superb. The wood roasted chicken lunch is fabulous especially since the meat is so tender and juicy! Very attentive and prompt service, great, thoughtful flavor combinations, and comfortable atmosphere. We tried the poke nachos, the jalapeño burger, and not sure what the wife got, but she loved it.I was truly impressed on the chef's creativity and ability to mix flavors and textures to a level that i would expect from a much higher pedigree restaurant. “Great little place to hang out and watch a sports game or listen to live music. The bartender was very polite and had a great personality and loved her purple hair.. Go Sacramento Kings... My friend ordered the pizza and she said it was very good. They have a pool table and dance floor for live bands. They do have leather couches too. Anyway, I was very pleased with going to the The Couch and having a great time .“

“Alright, I admit, I have been driving past this place for decades. I always thought "Huh, cool name. I should stop sometime" but never did for some reason. Last night my wife and I were driving past after an event in Rocklin and we decided to finally give it a shot. Why have we not been here before?! An incredibly cozy and fun neighborhood bar. Great food; my cheesesteak was amazing and the homemade chips were on point. The prices are totally fair. The ambience was fun with a lot of regulars in good spirits. The music was there but not so loud that you couldn't hold a conversation. Apparently one of the owners is from Chicago, so there is plenty of Cubs and Bears paraphernalia along with SF gear (the other owner is NorCal) and it definitely has the Midwest "neighborhood bar" vibe. I half expected to see a bottle of Mallort behind the bar. Anyway, you should definitely stop driving by The Glass Turtle and stop in!!“

“I did not try the food. But I heard it's good. The bar tender makes good drinks. I asked for a fireball and Cranberry, which she admitted she'd not heard of that combo before, yet she nailed it perfectly! First and third Thursday is OPEN MIC and the talent and support is phenomenal!“

“Best banana pancakes that I have been able to find in the Sacramento area. Get the combo as it also includes bacon and link sausages. Although I don’t enjoy champagne cocktails I love their lattes! One star off the atmosphere, because the chandeliers make it look too much like Trump’s toilet!“

“I planned to take my husband to breakfast, but we missed the breakfast menu by a few minutes (1 pm). I was disappointed as I really wanted eggs and pancakes, but my food was delicious! I ordered the stir-fry as it was recommended by our waitress and a margarita. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich, and he said it was an 8 out of 10. We sat outside as it was a really beautiful day. I can tell Cafe Bernardo is going to be one of my favorite places to eat in Sacramento.“

“For our monthly "Fridate," my friend and I chose Wildwood Kitchen and Bar. Fabulous food: the Branzino sea bass was flaky, well-seasoned, cooked to perfection! The grilled asparagus adds a nice touch to the meal and the creme brûlée' is a must! We also tried their New Zealand Sauvignon blanc - light and smooth, great pairing with the food. The host and server were very attentive. Yes, I'd definitely go back!“

“Any Jack's Urban Eats is always a pleasure to visit and go thru their cafeteria like ordering system and then sit and hangout a bit. This time we did an online order and was able to pick our food up from their self pick up shelf which was nice because I didn't have to visit the busy workers. I always go for their chicken sandwich, husband likes to get the mango salsa chicken sandwich with a gluten free bun which is so nice that they offer, and we go for the family garlic fries which are always good. We also got a side of Mac and cheese for our one year old and I haven't ordered that dish before and unfortunately it was not good. Was not nearly cheesy enough and the noodles weren't cooked al dente. My baby girl didn't even give them the time of day and she LOVES Mac and cheese. Maybe it was a bad batch but probably won't try that again. Otherwise any other item on the menu is amazing! And truly the employees put in work to make it amazing so kudos for them.“

Passage to white glove, chest for cleanliness, the palate test for flavor and the I'm in the service industry to serve test. “We came for the atmosphere! But was amazed by the good food also. I got the pot roast and it was truly one of the best I've tasted in years. So I would highly recommend! Also the drinks were good as well. We came on st. Patty's day so they had a lot of green drinks. The one pictured was called the Scooby Doo, it was a rum drink. Also I had to get my staple Guinness :) all in all we came for the atmosphere but stayed for the food!“
