“I live in Temecula and had never been here before. I just happened to be in the area and stopped by. I don’t post many reviews but felt compelled to do so due to their excellent service, food and atmosphere. It’s a hidden diamond in north SD County. I’m definitely going to make it one of my go to restaurants.“
“We made a quick trip in on our way to a wedding party. The grounds, tasting room and views were very nice. The wines were ok, nothing I would be in a hurry to purchase to take home. The highlight was the cat "Pinot Grigio" who was adorable and welcomed some pets. Overall a nice boutique wine tasting experience.“
“This place has typical diner vibes. The location is pretty small but surprising has a lot of seating! There was equal amount of inside and outside seating. As for the food, it was nothing too special but it was pretty good! I will praise their potatoes though! The potatoes in any form: fries, home fries, and hashbrowns, all of them were delicious. It was a very sweet and cute little restaurant in a little town. Very quiet place and it had a nice thrift store across the street!“
“This is a beautiful historical building with tons of charm, hard work, love and great food. For the history buffs, check the placard outside and online. The owner Faro is an amazing man, businessman and he has a passion for his restaurant business. He's a staple in Fallbrook and he aims to succeed with making his businesses pleasant for all who dine. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation. It can be busy on a weekend. Tons of outdoor area for wedding reception, baby showers and gatherings for groups. Inside bar is fun and lots of design inside. The back room has a lovely fireplace. Suggestion to move the table from the beautiful view of the fireplace and place electric candles within and around! Use that mantle for a focal point in the back of the house! So cozy and romantic. There is a tv in the back as well. Would be nice to have that on with anything while dining. Our server was amazing. He had all of the answers to our questions and his owl tattoo was beautiful. He was attentive, kind, professional and funny. The back room gets very loud when full. I'd also say turn up the music so we don't have to hear everyone's conversations on busy nights. The fish and chips used to be served on a wooden board. The batter seems to have been changed or maybe it was left on the line too long. The breading was a little soggy. Wayyy too many fries served with the fish and chips. Half the fries and try that new batter please. Overall, always wonderful to be there. We look forward to coming back again.“
“I ordered online about 15 minutes before getting there, still waited an additional 10 minutes or so before getting my food. The lady handing out the meal was very sweet when I let her know it was my first time she loaded up our bag with their special sauce, jalapeños and pickles which she recommended to enhance the meal. The burgers themselves were HUGE and the fries and onion rings were AMAZING“
“My wife and I loved the brisket and tri-tip entrees. We shared potato salad, sweet corn, beans, and slaw sides, and they were all delicious. And get the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream if you have room. It was excellent too. Special nod to Ivan for the friendly service! We'll be back.“
“Rib Shack serves up some real quality BBQ in a quaint, homey location. I'm mid way through a SoCal BBQ kick and stopped here with some friends after the San Diego Spartan. Food was ordered at the counter and served in Styrofoam containers, which we ate in the patio seating area. The selection is great, from your standard meats (brisket, ribs, tri tip) to more off the beaten path choices like catfish. You can order most options as a sandwich or part of a combo platter. Of what we tried, the ribs were the clear winner (truly fall off the bone tender), but everything else was great as well. The Mac and Cheese side also deserves its own shout-out - the perfect level of creamy and cheesy! Everything is clearly smoked on-site - you can actually see the smoker from the outdoor seating area, which is a neat touch. I'd definitely recommend if you're in the area or passing through!“
“A nice place to spend an evening, but little aspiration to excellence.Extra star awarded for allowing me to finally have found a restaurant with no television. It's hard to enjoy a family meal when your kids are watching TV, ruining the ambiance.I had the "special" which wasn't on the menu. The chicken Scaloppine. It started out quite nicely tender with food tasting noodles and texture. The mushrooms, which I normally don't like, were exquisitely cooked. The chicken did not taste seasoned at all and over time, went from tender to drenched in the sauce, which was about a half-inch deep in the plate. The chicken finished as a soggy, buttery mess. The staff were friendly and cordial. Our drinks were refilled continuously, almost to the point that I couldn't understand how they got anything else done. The menu is not overcomplicated but certainly doesn't cater to families with children. A kids option is limited to pizza unless they want to eat fancy. It seems this place is mostly meant for couples and friends and draws a senior crowd. It was pleasant. The lighting in the dining room was dim and I could barely see my food. But I wasn't too worried.Pricing was really reasonable for what you get. My wife had Mahi-Mahi which was also a special, but was $10 more than my plate. There seemed to be no wine list presented, though they had plenty of options which the manager was indulging in from time to time, which some would see as fairly forbidden on the clock. But the casual atmosphere and excellent conduct of all staff didn't make me worried. It was also concerning that a dog was allowed in the dining area. It was a non-service dog and even though the couple with the dog was limited to a table in the tar corner until an outside table was available, I heard commente from other customers about it. Some diners don't prefer hairy friends in the dining room. All in all it was a decent experience with casual food, an uncomplicated selection and a questionable ambiance indoors. I would have much rather been outside. But, we didn't need a reservation and the place was packed outside which should tell you my opinion is likely exclusive and my party wasn't their usual type of patron.Suggestions: Ditch the paper napkins and bare tables in the evening service and to for something radiant to cover tables. Ditch the candles and go for small lamps so people can see their food, since the lighting up top flickers. Stop drowning your chicken. 1/4 of that amount of sauce would do, with a little more seasoning on the chicken. Don't be afraid to blacken the chicken. Perhaps add some color for contrast. My plate was white, yellow and brown. Some steamed carrots, shallots or green onions should do the job.No one can tell you are open. You can't see the Christmas lights from Burger King where you turn into the place. You need an Open sign like your neighborKid-friendliness: Not snti-kid, but certainly not aligned to provide kids options“
“Love this place when I have people visiting from out of town and want to have some nice music and eat some of the best Mexican food in Fallbrook. Is frequently crowded and there's a wait. But that's because it's so popular and only open on Friday and Saturday. Name is Henry“
“I am so happy I took a different street today, because I stumbled into the best little coffee spot that i will 10000 percent be a regular at. Fallbrook coffee company was 1, soooo cute,2 had the yummiest avocado toast, and 3 the best baristas and staff ever. I felt so welcomed and feel so grateful to start my day this way.“
“Hands down - defiantly the best pizza in Fallbrook, but don’t go if you’re a bit pressed for time. To be fair we were told it would be 40 minutes to get our pizza, but it ended up being over an hour.Parking: Didn’t think we’d find parking, but slipped into a spot across the street“
“I love this place! Very friendly staff, perfect outdoor setting, nice vibe and ambiance. El Parque offers a large selection of beers on tap at an affordable price that you can sip outside on a nice outdoor patio. Their food is rightly priced (burgers are amazing, for less than $9!), delicious and come in large portions. To me, this Mexican fast-food spot is a gem located in a beautiful location! As opposed to other reviews, service has never bene slow for me...“
“The food was great and the service was excellent. It's was not very busy. I found it odd, that a restaurant like this would close at 7 pm Monday through Thursday, and at 9 pm Friday and Saturday. Especially since it's a resort hotel.“
“I heard about this restaurant a while ago and checked it out with a friend. The food was amazing (we had breakfast), the portions were perfect, and the service was splendid. Afterwards, we headed out fueled for our 9-mile planned hike. It was great.“
