“Wonderful fresh fruit stand. This is the place to go if you're looking for a cup of extremely fresh fruit that is grown in the surrounding areas of Mendota, Firebaugh, Dos Palos, and Los Banos. Cantoloupes, watermelon, pineapple, Honeydew, mango, cucumber, etc. The owner also makes delicious frozen drinks that will definitely quench your thirst for something fresh and fruity.“

“Mar 26th, 2024I’ve ordered 3 tacos: Birria, Cabesa and Lengua. Cabesa was the best, lengua - alright, birria looked and tasted like shredded beef (still edible). They accept credit, but I think charge something as a service fee. Tacos were $2,75 each (on the menu board), they charged my card $11Parking: It’s a Chevron gas station / small truck stop. Plenty of parking for cars and semi trucks“

“This is authentic Mexican food. If you're not use to that then you will not like this spot. That being said the waiters aren't always the fastest but that's because they're usually busy since there are no more than two girls working at the same time. Food will be served as soon as possible tho which is great! And they,re usually the last restarunt to close in town.“
“Amazing Carne Asada tacos. An unexpected detour off the I5 took us by here. Decor hasn't changed since probably 1973. Family run business- many aunties sitting at the counter. Large bean, rice and cheese burritos were very authentic with fresh refried pinto beans. Great stop for lost travelers“

“Really good down-home Mexican food: Stopped in for a late breakfast and the machaca con huevos was exactly what we wanted ... It came with soft homemade corn tortillas, potatoes and excellent refried beans -- my guess is they're homemade, too. Had a pancake on the side that was delicious. Big mug of good coffee and a friendly waitress who made us feel welcome. The building is old but the owners have painted the interior in classic colors and dressed up the (very clean) restrooms with decorative vases“
“Soooo Good sooo Bomb! If you wanna feel like your grandma just made you some Puppusas or like ur mom just made you some gorditas and you are in town this is the place. It's hard to find good Salvadoran food. Ohhh and let's not forget the platanos sooo good! The staff is friendly and the food comes out in a timely manner. If you are on lunch call your order in and they will have it ready“
