Restaurantji's Los Banos guide: Where to find the ultimate Mexican flavors.
“We ordered a Family Combo #1 for 4-5 people. The amount of carnitas was more than enough for more people because we had extra for the next day. The flavors were magnificently good, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for the best carnitas in town!!Best carnitas I’ve had in a long time! Will definitely be going back. ☺️“
“This meal will forever live in my memory as some of the best tacos I've ever eaten. They were served steaming hot straight from the grill, the tortillas and the carnitas were perfect. I kept smelling my hands well after the meal to smell the tacos again and relive just a bit of that meal. 10/10 would do whatever I can to swing by here again for another meal.“
“Fantastic hidden gem. Ajua Restaurant serves authentic Mexican cuisine that will make you think you're in Mexico. Located close to I 5 it's a great reason to take a take and enjoy some freshly cooked food. Service is quick and friendly and all the food is made to order. You will not be disappointed.“
“It's Valentines Day, and we expected to have a wait for a table and our food.We were seated right away, as they were not busy yet (5:00 pm).Our servers were very friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Our food came out quickly and was very good. They had plenty of staff on hand. It was a very good experience.“
“Lovely old building, enjoyed reading the history of the place. Too bad it's no longer an inn. The food was great! Had lettuce wraps and garlic prawns to share. The service was slow and they never refilled our water. It was a beautiful day to sit on the patio. The menu looked very tempting, we will return for dinner when we are in the area.“
“This place is legit! Tacos are delicious, nothing fancy - pure, home made, simple and the sauces make them stand out! We have made this our regular stop on the way to / from LA. We gave the folks running the food truck feedback and praised their dishes - they took them humbly and went back to work. The portion sizes are perfect - you don't go hungry for sure. We always go for their chicken and shrimp tacos. They are the best. Plan to take pictures before they disappear next time we stop there.“
“Stopped here for takeout on long drive from Fresno to Sebastopol. Last time I drove through Los Banos this place was packed and hopping which made me think they must be pretty popular. We couldn't stop at that time so I decided to check them out this time. It was mid afternoon. Arou d 230pm and only a few customers but I could tell by the interior decor it must attract a fairly hip and younger croud. They were super fast and friendly. It took 5 minutes, just as they told me it would. Plus, they were super thoughtful to bring my food out to me since I was walking my dog out front.I ordered a cheese enchilada with rice and beans and asked for guac and hot sauce. The rice and beans were excellent, as well as the two hot sauces they gave me. These core parts of Mexican are really a make or break for me and this place knows what they are doing. Very good! One of the hot sauces was heated up and the other cold - both flavorful and the smith ki d with out cilantro or chunks. The cheese enchilada was heavy but the red enchalada sauce was yummy. They put some sliced avocado instead of guac which was okay for me.Overall, great lunchWheelchair accessibility: Large strip mall parking“
“Todo muy bien, llege a cenar eran como las 7:30, tenían karoke,Me gusto mirar y escuchar alas personas, solo que unas cantaban bien feo??Y eran las mismas 3 personas y los señores del DJ, los que se la pasaron cantando siempreNo daban chanza alas demas personas,“
“I have to say I was a bit hesitant about this place, but I order a shrimp cocktail to my surprise it was very good! I am picky when it comes to shrimp cocktail and I love it. The service was excellent ? ?.Gracias por su servicio.Lo recomiendo.“

“I always see the Mr. Taco hut on the 152 in Los Banos when I visit my mom in Central Valley. I decided to give it a shot when I was on my way back home one night and I was not disappointed. It's a small hut with two drive thru windows and every time I've passed by, there's always a line. The night I came, I was the second car there which was perfect. They have a really big menu so I suggest checking their menu you out before you go so you know what you want. I ordered the asada tacos, asada quesadilla, and pork tamale. One thing I noticed right away was that they were not stingy with the meat. The asada had really good flavor and the tacos were the best I've had aside from my favorite spot in Pasadena. The quesadilla was amazingly good, but I only ate half to leave room for the pork tamale. I'm glad I did because the tamale didn't last a second. It was packed with so much flavor and the red sauce complimented it really well. There were 3 people working inside and they were super friendly. Once I ordered, they had my food ready within 5 mins. I ate in my car, but they had an area where you can park your car and eat at a patio area next to the hut. Be warned that there are no bathrooms from what I saw, but there's other places around you can most likely go to and use their restrooms. If you're driving on the 152 and passing through Los Banos, I highly recommend Mr. Taco. I will definitely get food here whenever I visit my mom.“
“I wanted to eat real food on my drive from SF to LA, not fast food, and this food truck hit the spot. I ordered a carnitas burrito. It is heavy on the meat and rice so next time I might ask for more lettuce and salsa for my preference. The tacos looked delicious and are street style. They offer a range of meats including tripe, lengua, and chorizo.“
“I think everyone's who has given bad reviews are over a year old, so maybe they've gone through a change. I ordered a grip of food and was so pleased by everything. The corn tortillas were freshly made and delicious. The menudo was by far the best I've ever had. Rice and beans were standard. Enchiladas were well made and tasty. I've heard other people complain about racism but as a light-skinned non-Hispanic I feel like I was treated well. Went on an afternoon on a weekend.Parking: Decent size parking lot; street options.“
“It’s our first time here we stop on our way and me and my son order the quezabirrias and they are so delicious ? my husband order menudo and our aunt order tacos de camarón everything was good the service was amazing everything was 10/10 will be coming “
