“Shake shack pretty much epitomizes what a beachside Socal-OC day should feel like. Beautiful, relaxing view of the Pacific paired with a classic shake or malt and diner type eats.Highly recommend parking towards the north end of Crystal Cove State Park and walking either the cliffside trail or beach and enjoy the sun as you walk down towards Shake Shack. And that you try to come when it’s not so busy. This way you don’t have to wait in a ridiculously long line on PCH for a lot that has a dozen parking spaces. The food is pretty standard and most people come for the great shakes. The Date shake seems to be really popular but I’ve yet to try it“

“This place made me feel like i was a little kid again, going to eat with my grandparents that raised me in a very small ghost town. made me almost cryz it was so good, all of it was amazing. atmosphere was comforting, food felt homemade and you could feel the heart that was poured into it. amazing portions, enough to take home and have later. salad and ranch was delicious. i liked both the lentil soup and the vegetable beef soup, sooo good :) their steak is amazing omg. and the shrimp was great, too! hoping to go again soon.“
“I love this place it's been so long since we came here. I was craving a delicious breakfast today so suggested Harbor House. What can I say, been coming here for like 20 years wow that's such a long time! It doesn't even feel like that long, this place is amazing. I love their corn beef hash and eggs, I always have them make it extra crispy, the hash browns extra crispy and I got a side of extra crispy bacon. I remember they used to have the home style potatoes if I remember correctly, but it's been a while since we have been here so sort of forgot. I also had a coke with grenadine so delicious. My husband ordered the Denver Omelette with cheese with hash browns and coffee. Was a nice brunch/lunch. Usually this place is always packed with lines out the door. Today it wasn't too busy maybe we came at the off time of day. The parking lot is small and is a little crazy when it is busy but I love that it's near Sunset Beach. I love coming down here such a beautiful drive and area. Our server was super friendly and helpful. Brought our drinks and food out quickly. I love the ambiance here with all the posters of old movies and the pictures of the movie stars on the walls, the lights too, they have posters hanging on the sealing's as well. Where we sat at the top part in the back area they have these old bingo games all over the walls to which I love. Nice that they haven't changed anything for the last 25 years. Still cool atmosphere I forever love. We usually always sit in the top area of the back of the restaurant so we can overlook everything and have a private sort of area which is nice. All the food here is delicious! I highly recommend this place if you haven't been here before. 5 stars for great service, delicious food, cool atmosphere and for being one of my favorite breakfast places to go for so many years! “After two days in the Magic Kingdom, we needed something different. My husband found this place on google, and I was unconvinced. However, it turned out to be AMAZING! “We went to Disney for 3 days, this Denny's was in walking distance of our hotel and has an ART bus stop right out front to take you to the park. Every morning we were greeted by their friendly staff, enjoyed a filling breakfast and most importantly hot coffee. Frank and the crew took good care of us. Plus they are open 27/7.“
“They took an old Santa Fe train depot and converted it to a diner. Lots of seating. I judge diners on their bacon cheeseburgers. This place made fantastic ones. Thick, smokey bacon. Fresh beef. Crispy lettuce. Savory everything. Fries were so-so. Only two guys at the grill, but they hustled. All the staff hustled. There was not much of a wait between ordering and receiving the food. Amtrak and Metrolink trains zoom past the restaurant but they are not intrusive. Excellent all around.“

“We love Ruby's! Especially this super special original location. We try to come in multiple times whenever we are in the area for a week or a month's time. The employees are fantastic! They are warm and friendly (even in inclement weather). They are so sweet to our children. They absolutely remember them even though I would not say we are technically regulars since our primary residence is currently out of state. I have been so impressed each and every visit. They always go out of their ways to ensure the kids have a great and memorable experience! This time they even gave the kids mini Mustang cobras to build out of cardboard & stickers with which they could decorate them. “I had breakfast at Woody's during a recent trip. OMG, if you want a fabulous treat that's not too unhealthy try the Paradise French toast! A huge portion of French toast sprinkled with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, coconut and powdered sugar! I'm pretty tiny but I wolfed down the entire thing, as my photos will attest! I was there for quite some time and the server was friendly and helpful, providing just the right amount of checking in on the meal. It's a diner so the ambience reflects that. It wasn't too noisy though. I never eat breakfast out so don't really have a comparison for the value. Parking was complementary and available and I was seated right away. But it definitely was a delicious treat which I highly recommend!“
“I come to this Denny's sometimes 4 days a week and always around the same time (2-4 am) and always order the same thing (coffee and lumberjack slam with eggs over medium white toast and upgraded pancakes to the salted caramel banana pancakes). By now as soon as I walk through the door , I am always greeted warmly by the same gentlemen (except on Saturdays when there is a lovely woman serving me) By now I never need to repeat what I'm getting because they already know. And are letting me know they'll put in my order. I love that, they are always attentive and by the time I'm out of the restroom, my coffee is waiting for me to fix up with French vanilla creamer and sugar and spoon there for me to mix in. The food is always exactly how I like and very tasty especially the hash browns .....the atmosphere is always quiet with 2 or 3 other diners.
