“Canyon Coffee literally shook my world. My brother and I were visiting from Florida, doing what we always do - in search of the BEST coffee shop experiences imagineable. Canyon blew our expectations out of the water. We were greeted by the coolest cat, Carlos, with a bold, yet incredibly friendly stature. He knew the menu like the back of his hand. I landed on the eloquent “Hot Japanese Brown Sugar Latte”. LIKE WHAT!! Craft of the craft, one of the best lattes I’ve ever had. Yes, “my bro and I are twins”, I told him. Little did I know we were about to be served a delectable slice of perfectly baked Banana Sesame bread made by a local queen. Impressively moist. Yep, I said it. From the time we walked in, we felt like we were home. A pleasant experience all the way around.Dialed in coffee. Amazing service. Great chats. Insanely styled atmosphere. Food was unreal. “I was looking for a place to do some studying and a friend recommended Verve. It’s a nice spot to just enjoy some tea and do some reading. There are a lot of people who seemed to be working, and a small group just there to socialize a bit. Everyone seemed respectful of the environment. Consistent, deep flavor profiles with subtle variations throughout the year. Basically overnight shipping in the LA area. I bought Indigo after reading a review, and it is a strong aromatic coffee for espresso. I really like it. And so does my partner. They also host an baristas class sometimes (check their web) which I someday should attend :) Tips: bring cash for a discount. They give you 1 to 5 bucks (depending on size) discounted price for customers paying with cash“

“Everything about this place is great - I walk here from my apartment at least 3-4 times a week to start my day. All of the staff members are wonderful and the coffee is always *chefs kiss*.I feel like the only thing missing is a “sit down” atmosphere. I would love to be able to come sit inside and work for a couple of hours to start the day. Couple hours of work, couple coffee and a baked good… then I’d come everyday, no questions asked. “Absolutely delicious mocha with lovely 'latte art' (but I missed a pic)! It wasn't too sweet even though I didn't say "half sweet" like I have to elsewhere. My spouse's cortado was delicious. Our pup even got a little cup of frothed milk & lapped it all up. We got the Rico burrito & it came with yummy molcajete salsa and creamy verde sauce. The barista - from Sydney - was friendly & the server was very efficient. We'll definitely stop in again next time we're in the area.“

“Came at 8 when they opened before stopping by the flower market. There wasn't anyone here and I possibly though they are running late or wrong hours ? I waited about 10 mins to walk around in hopes someone came and right as I was ready to leave someone came to open, thankfully. I order a chia which was good, the barista was sweet to let me try the concentrate. Their concentration is good not too spicy and has a licorice touch but when it was made into a latte it lost that good flavor. Next time I'd ask for a little more chai but that is my preference I orders an shot of espresso on the side to taste the body and flavor without the mix of the latte.good pulled shot As much as I wanted to only give 4 stars because they didn't open on time, I would be doing wrong because there is not context, maybe an emergency or some business issue who knows but life does happen. “I didn't know La Colombe had a coffee shop until today while I was in the area for business and spotted the sign. The building is so beautiful with brick walls and greenery, the outdoor seating area is very cute, there is some indoor seating as well. The wood tables and chairs add a lot of character to the place. Their cold brew was delicious without any aftertaste or high acidity. They have variety of drinks including specials. They also sell canned coffee in case you want some to go. I also noticed they had a few croissants left and some cookies so I'm assuming they sell freshly baked goods as well. Customer service was ok. Overall I liked the vibes of this place and will add it to my favorites.“
