“Woooooow! The food is A+mazing! The first time I came here I ate the food so fast I didn't get a chance to leave a review. I came back again because I like their sweets. Last time, I had ice cream and their Ashta, and it was perfect. This time I tried their crepes and they did not disappint. If you want sweets, then this is the spot to go.The atmosphere was nice, service is great, and the place is well lit.“
“Our first time to this beautiful restaurant . We tried the tasting menu! WOW was it amazing. Loved learning about the wines. Had the featured drink of the week by Finn. loved it. It was garnished with a petite flower. My only regret is I got full and couldn't eat it all. Thank you to Matt our server for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back. The lobster pie was so creamy and delicious. The steak was so flavorful and tender.“
“Wow! Tastes home cooked! Amazing lamb & beef lule, delicious rice, FRESH hummus. Good strong Armenian coffee. Free parking. Our new favorite Middle Eastern/Armenian restaurant! The proprietor was very warm and sweet.Cheers!DocMikeChiro“
“Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and Amanda saw to it that we had a wonderful experience. She was so welcoming and helpful. Many places have incredible drinks but if the service doesn't match, who knows if you'll remember it a few months down the road. The service is what makes people come back! She nailed it.The cocktails were delicious as well, we are familiar with the craft cocktail scene and these drinks were on point and an awesome price! Ambience was spot on too.Next time we are in LA we will return!“
“Cute outdoor cafe with delicious scones and tea. My party had a variety of flavors and everyone enjoyed their choices. My favorites are the matcha white chocolate , ube coconut and chocolate chip. The options for vegetarian sandwiches and vegan/gluten free scones were yummy and appreciated.“
“the most delicious shawarma, I recommend it to everyone, the guys are very kind, always smiling.Dietary restrictions: you can ask to make shawarma for veganParking: parking available free of chargeKid-friendliness: very tasty for children too“
“Nothing but positive things to say. Meat is fresh and great quality, portions are large, owner is very friendly and involved. The place is super clean and well kept. Highly recommend the Pletch, Sharwarma Wraps, and chicken/beef, lamb plates - can’t wait to try the rest of the menu as they also have pastas, burgers, and pizzas. They also serve beer & wine! You guys have a customer for life. Thank you for your hospitality and welcome to our neighborhood!“
“This is a great little bar. Lots of beers on tap (50+) including many California craft breweries. Pool table inside. Great heated outdoor space. Ping pong, foosball, and boardgames outside. Not a lot of food options (chips, nuts, giant pretzels, etc.) but there was a decent food truck right outside when I was thereParking: Seems like plenty of street parkingWheelchair accessibility: Patio seemed plenty wheel chair friendly. Inside was was a bit tighter but possibly ok.Men's room was super small... Probably not wheel chair accessible. Not sure if there was another option.“
“This food truck was outside of paperback brewing - so so good!! I got the birria fries - amazing. So much meat, perfect amount of flavor- overall great. The guys in the truck were so helpful and kind. Overall amazing and will def be back to try other foods!!“
“Our first time to LA, from Kentucky. We stayed in a hotel just down the street and stumbled in. The food is fantastic, the menu has something for everyone, the atmosphere is perfect on a rainy LA evening, and the staff is super friendly. I recommend it for anyone who loves Tex-Mex in a great atmosphere. Did I mention the prices of the food? Too Cheap.“
“Tasty pizza, friendly staff, can’t wait to return!Ozzy’s Apizza delivers on all fronts – delicious New Haven-style pizza, welcoming staff, and plenty of seating. They post on Instagram stories daily to keep you updated so check there it helps! Don’t mind the wait, they’re popular for a reason! Hats off to Ozzy the pup and crew!We tried both the Liotta & Pepperoni Idiot Pizza, both were incredible! One of the premier spots in LA for sure!“
“Every time we come here the food and service are excellent, wonderful chicken and shish kebabs...hummus is creamy, to die for, the pita is wonderfully grilled to perfection and the right amount of crispy and soft. The seasoning is perfect, the portions are amazing you will not go home hungry! we come here often and the wait staff are always amazing, very nice and helpful. theres a lot of Mediterranean and Armenian places here in Glendale but this place should definitely be on your radar if you're looking for a great place just beyond the hustle of downtown Glendale.“
“This is an absolutely no frills restaurant with about 5 items on the menu, but they do them well. The monta (aka manti, mante) is the star of the show. Unlike other places that take a shortcut by using wonton skins, this place makes the dough from scratch and it really makes a difference. In addition to the baked monta, they also do a soup version in either tomato or yogurt. Their sou boereg ( Armenian cheese lasagna) is good also. All monta is cooked to order, so it does take a few minutes for your order to be ready, but it's totally worth the wait. Have an appetizer while waiting. You can also visit their sister restaurant in Pasadena, though it's tiny with only two tables on the sidewalk.P.S. I read some reviews saying that monta is supposed to be made with phyllo dough. Uh, no. I helped my mom and grandma make monta from scratch and they use the same dough you'll find here. And I was born in Lebanon, my grandmother was a Genocide survivor. So they know how to make it.“
“I had two prior visits and I have always ordered the same thing, a Margherita Pizza. The first two times the pizza was the best pizza I've had in the Glendale area. The third time I was disappointed. The pizza looked more like your typical local pizza shop cheese pizza. Too much mozzarella cheese. It was smothered with cheese. I believe a true Margherita pizza should have blotches of mozzarella cheese with a basil leaf in the middle of the blotch of cheese. The Margherita pizza colors are suppose to represent the colors of the Italian flag. Unfortunately this one was white and green. Couldn't see the red sauce because...well, you know why. Too much cheese!I will say that the pizza crust is still my favorite. I will return, but next time I'll just have to tell them specifically how I want my pizza made.“
“Delicious burgers with lots of options. Milkshakes are yummy. Sides are nice too. Several different iterations of fries. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. My go-to option when I want a mushroom burger. Also part of the five star network so you can sign in with your phone number and earn rewards.Wheelchair accessibility: One level mall with handicap spaces and ramps.“
“We visit Salt & Olive anytime we visit Glendale. It is our absolute favorite atmosphere! Customer service is superb as well as their music. Most importantly, the quality of food is beyond words - never disappoints. *chefs kiss* ?☺️“
“A brewery that’s a bit off the beaten path and totally worth checking out. Street parking only but we found a spot easily on a Saturday around 5pm. The whole setup is great with indoor and outdoor seating options. The food truck outside had great smash burgers and various loaded fries. The flights of beer are a lot of fun because of the library theme. I love that they have so many hazy IPAs! Really enjoyed this spot and look forward to going back!“
“The service is off the charts. The gentleman at the counter must be getting paid in gold because he went above and beyond! I came in with my mom to grab a quick bite before heading home and this place did not disappoint. Although a bit hesitant as there weren't many people inside, the food was absolutely delicious. The chicken kabobs and beef koobideh plates were just fire. It's a bit off route for us, but you bet we'll be back! So good.“
“Found Cafe Montrose on Yelp cause we needed a meeting place in between for us, Santa Clarita and Glendora area to celebrated my girlfriend's birthday, wonderful breakfast burrito, great coffee latte, best trio mimosas! We enjoyed the nice family style area which makes you feel good with all the local people coming in & out. Took some wonderful pastries home! What great service and nice people all around!!!“
“This brewery is difficult to find, but worth the effort. (It is off a 1-way street; in industrial park, service road to freeway). But once you find it you'll be glad.Gus, on the taps, makes you feel at home. The beers are diverse. They do have flights. I tried a crazy interesting dark beer & an Oktoberfest. Yes they have IPAs. Since I'm not a fan, I appreciated the variety.Outside patio & spacious interiorThey have parking. Dogs are welcome. Food from vendors or you may bring in. Great beers that are Reasonably priced.I will return!“
“A very happy discovery. After being a bit surprised at the minimum cost at another nearby restaurant, I kept walking. I was drawn to the gas flames of outdoor dining. I found Bacari GDL and was very pleased. The food was excellent. My Bacarita was spicy but refreshing with watermelon to counter the bite. My ceviche was the best I have had. My pork chop with caramelized onions was perfect after a long day. Hannah was a delight in her care of my dining experience. I hope to return to Glendale again to enjoy this gem.“
“Tony the store manager took great care of me. I came in aggravated because my old machine wasn't working and had been back and forth with Nespresso phone customer service twice. I was ready to retire my use of Nespresso but assuming the new machine works as it should, they've regained a dedicated customer, thanks to Tony.“
“I know I'm not the only one of the opinion that this little gem of a place has THE BEST pulled pork burrito in town.My order is Pulled Pork Burrito, no rice (potatoes only) and no bacon (I'm British, I'm a little at war with American bacon) and I swear to you, however you prefer your burrito, you will not be disappointed. You really won't! It slaps.“
“The vibes are immaculate. This is such a great spot. The baristas have great energy, and they have an awesome selection of drinks. If I want something on the go, or to spend a late morning getting some work done on my computer, I come here!“
“I come here for breakfast, sometimes with my co worker's. My personal favorite here is lechon kawali a must try!! it's nice and crispy tasty and delicious..the best in town! But you gotta come here early cause they ran out quick. They got good food here. My other favorites dasilog, longsilog and jefrox and more.. they're open early 7am and nice friendly staff!! ?good job Soo Good!!“
“Only went for drinks the few times I've been there, so I can't rate the food. The drinks I've had have been very good. The bartenders have been very personable. I was talking with one (his name was Angel) about how I dislike Manhattan's. He made me one and I really liked it. I was very impressed.I was also there for a Makers Mark tasting. Oak & Vine has 2 Private Selections. Both are very good, but personally, the second one they made was the better of the two. If you like bourbon give them a try.“
“What a cute little hidden gem in the down town Montrose area. We were starving after a visit to Descanso Gardens and this place had photos of a cute patio seating area so we took the chance! The food was surprisingly very delicious! We shared a Reuben and a Cuban sandwich. We were disappointed to see no French fries, so we splurged on a hot pretzel! OMG it was so huge we took half of it home with us. Service was interesting- it was one bartender taking care of 3-4 tables of guests while we were there (plus a few take out orders). He did refill our drinks and checked on us twice quickly as he was grabbing stuff for other tables. We are pretty low maintenance so we were fine with it! I suspect this place is pretty packed after work for a drink and appetizers!“
“Today I came in with my brother and we were served and helped by Jada! She was so attentive and sweet and made sure we enjoyed everything we ordered and made sure that we had a great experience! It was so cute inside and outdoor seating was great on this beautiful warm day! Definitely will be coming back. Great staff!“
“Food was amazing! I ordered the avocado toast with 2 poached eggs and side salad. I picked off of my daughter's plates, chili cheese fries and panini sandwich and it was really good. I ordered the Mexicali coffee and although it was good, I think I will try a different coffee next time. Service was amazing. They sat us down quick and were attentive and helpful. We sat outside since the inside was completely full but I'm glad we got seated outside. It felt more intimate since we were a party of 10. My kids really liked it as well so we will definitely be going back :)“
“I loved this place! The ambiance was really cool, they had a really good playlist to match the vibe. I liked how the lightening was fairly dim too. I had the brisket sandwich and fries, which was pretty good. I will say, the brisket was a bit salty but overall the meal was pretty good & well portioned. The fries and onion rings were bomb! Especially with the side of bbq sauce. The staff was really friendly offering great service as well. I look forward to going back and trying the banana pudding next time.“
“My child and I are trying out local places every Saturday morning and today we set our sights on V Boulevard Cafe. This is a nicely decorated small restaurant that's probably a well-kept secret by the people who live in the area. There's a sign for parking behind, but the open spaces weren't ones I could shove a minivan in and then you're in to the neighborhoods with limited parking. The curb out front is painted for short (30m) stops, so plan to park a block ahead or behind, or across the street because this is a nice place to linger and enjoy your food. There's indoor and outdoor seating. I have the french toast which was really great and a very nice vanilla latte. My child had the make-your-own sandwich and hot chocolate that they really liked. Mine came with sausage (rich and flavorful) and eggs (I had "over hard" and would try a different method next time) and theirs came with hashbrowns. We both agreed that next time we'd definitely order them crispy as they were very soft and we left them behind. It was $47 + tip for the two of us. That felt a little bit high, but maybe that's just the state of things these days, and the food was good, the restaurant was pleasant and the service was great, and it's a small local business, so maybe that's an OK price? If I would give them one piece of advice - for part of our visit there was instrumental music in the front of the house and different music playing loudly in the kitchen. It was distracting while trying to converse. I didn't have a problem with either music, but maybe pick one. I would definitely try more of their menu, perhaps a future breakfast date with my wife.“
“This was such a beautiful little spot I would definitely come back here This is one of those original spots where everything on the menu is probably good! I had 3 pastries Don't judge me please lol But yea I bought two pastries, and then the owner/manager came and offered a pastry saying it was her favorite! And let me tell you, if you want some of the most tasty pastries you can get in LA for a reasonable price - then this place is the spot! Their pastries will make your mouth water the moment you see them! When you bite into those pastries, it makes you wanna hug whoever cooked them! We got the Nutella croissant - yumm We got the strawberry cheese danish - solid And the "favorite" from the owner - the blueberry cheese danish - OMG!!!!!!!!!! Anyways, The almond milk hazelnut latte I got was perfectly balanced And the ambiance was nice They have a nice front patio that I am sure gets popular in the warmer weather Parking is okay, you'll probably have to pay and walk but it's so worth it Needless to say, the service here was warm and impeccable! Sure I got the free pastry but it was more than that! The first words I heard when I opened the door was "hello, welcome!" It was nothing but warm conversation and easy laughs with the entire staff from that moment on! This is one of those places you go to because the people are kind of It just so happens the food is great too! Anyways that's all for now B“
“I was thrilled to discover that there is a real tea shop in La Crescenta. Always great suggestions of new tea that I should try, while also offering the staples like earl grey. Great music and a funky vibe. Can’t leave without an English treat.“
“I recently visited this quaint little ice cream joint and, overall, I had a delightful experience, but there were a couple of hiccups that prevented it from being perfect. Let's start with the positives: the atmosphere here is absolutely charming. The small space is adorned with vibrant island decorations that transport you to a tropical paradise, enhancing the overall experience. I couldn't agree more with the uniqueness of this place; there's truly nothing quite like it in the area. Also, the prices are incredibly reasonable, making it an attractive option for anyone looking for a budget-friendly sweet treat. However, there was one significant downside that left me slightly disappointed, and it's the reason I've docked a star from my review. The preparation of the ice cream cone left much to be desired. Typically, I expect my cone to be assembled in a specific order: ice, ice cream, ice, and then syrup. Unfortunately, the girl behind the counter didn't follow this sequence. Instead, she put the ice cream first, a move that initially caught me off guard. I didn't even realize she had added the ice cream until my observant friend pointed it out, as it was the first thing she did. Consequently, I assumed she had forgotten about my ice cream until I reached the bottom of the cone, where it was disappointingly mixed with water. This unexpected arrangement affected the texture and taste of my dessert, leaving me slightly unsatisfied. Despite this setback, I must commend the flavors of my cone, which were truly delicious. The combination of syrup, guava and mango, was divine, showcasing the potential this place has if the preparation process is improved. Another minor downside was the limited seating inside; the space is quite small, with not many tables available. However, since it wasn't busy during my visit, I managed to find a spot without much trouble. Additionally, I'd like to mention that finding parking on the busy street was a bit challenging, but considering the unique experience and affordable prices, I'd say it's worth the drive. With a few adjustments in the preparation process and perhaps some expansion in the seating area, this place has the potential to become a top-notch dessert destination. I'm optimistic that my next visit will be even better, and I'm looking forward to seeing these improvements in action.“
“The burritos are phaaatttttt. Amazing flavor on everything I've tried so far. My wife and I moved to Glendale and worried that we wouldn't find good tacos and burritos but this spot blows it out of the park. Carnitas: bomb. Carne asada: fantastic. Cabeza: Si, por favor. If you like lengua, go here. Their tacos are filled to the brim with meat. I haven't had a single bad item yet.“
“Atmosphere, coffee & the food are always spot on. But what always makes this my go to spot, is the incredible service. I went in today to get a latte and a pastry, and totally forgot to ask for almond milk. Knowing it was my mistake I went to the counter to purchase another one with almond milk, the man who was working was SO kind, said not to worry, took my drink back and remade it, making sure it was just as good as the first one but with the type of milk I needed. Just anticipating a customer’s needs and being courteous of others, it’s hard to find these days but every time I come here they go above and beyond. This is a business to support. You can say bye to Starbucks!“
“The sushi rolls were great. I still haven't found a spot that makes great crush rolls here I'll give it a 3.7/5. I love the Super Rainbow Roll pack with Protein. That kick in the 411 was a nice feeling. The service was very welcoming and welcomed me to the community as a new person.“
“We eat here quite often, and each time is as great as the last. The server who helps us most frequently is Baglan, and he is simply AMAZING every single time. He is very attentive and sweet. The food is also amazing, everything always tastes fresh. We will continue to come here often.“
“Oh my God, you guys! It's like Aziz Ansari once said, 'Treat yo' self!' And that's exactly what I do at 818 - the late-night savior of my hunger pangs! Picture this: it's 10 PM in Glendale, and everything else is snoozing, but not 818, oh no! They're like the Batman of restaurants, always there when you need them. Their chicken? It's like a high-five in your mouth! Crispy, juicy, and totally kosher – it's like they're frying up happiness. And the staff? Superheroes in aprons, I tell you! They guide you through the menu like a tasty treasure map, helping you discover culinary gold. Hungry for a pressed chicken sandwich with a twist? They've got you covered. Craving their signature chicken sandwich with that crunchy coleslaw and tangy pickles? Boom, your taste buds are in for a party! This place isn't just a restaurant, it's my culinary soulmate. Always open, always awesome. So, go on, treat yo' self and check them out!“
“Delicious! Best frozen yogurt I've ever had. I ordered a 2nd helping while I was there. I live in Orange county and have been looking for any reason to drive there. Crave it. Wish they had a location in s. Orange county. Even considered opening up one of their stores.... it's that good.Vegetarian options: It's all vegan and delicious“
“Great place for a fried chicken sandwich. I always take it to go, but there is outside (covered) seating if you want to eat there. Their menu is posted on the main window, which is really convenient, but I would REALLY like to be able to see the cashier - they have to stoop to see out, making it awkward for both of us.“
“Shake Shack - A Burger Lover's ParadiseI recently had the pleasure of dining at Shake Shack, and I must say, it was an absolute delight for any burger enthusiast. Shake Shack has made a name for itself in the burger industry, and after my experience, I can understand why.First and foremost, the burgers at Shake Shack are simply outstanding. Their crinkle-cut fries are addictive and perfectly seasoned, and their milkshakes are rich, creamy, and come in a variety of flavors. I highly recommend trying their signature ShackSauce, a tangy and savory condiment that adds an extra layer of flavor to any dish.In terms of ambiance, Shake Shack strikes a balance between casual and trendy. The modern and minimalist design of their restaurants creates a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite with friends or enjoying a meal with family, Shake Shack offers a relaxed setting that complements their delicious food. The service at Shake Shack is also worth mentioning. They are more than happy to assist with any questions or dietary restrictions, ensuring that every customer has a pleasant dining experience. While Shake Shack has gained popularity for its burgers, it is worth noting that their menu includes options for vegetarians and those with dietary restrictions. They offer a delectable mushroom burger and a variety of delightful salads, making it a suitable choice for a diverse group of diners. In conclusion, Shake Shack is a burger lover's paradise. With their exceptional burgers, fresh ingredients, and inviting atmosphere, Shake Shack has truly mastered the art of burger craftsmanship. “I love Poke! I have been to the store in Burbank and Glendale and both have amazing customer service! I like their great attitude and have never had a bad experience with them. I became a regular at both stores because of this as well lol, keep up the good work guys!!“
“Update: I have been coming back over and over again. I have filled up their stamp cards multiple times. My go-to order is the Blue Honey milk tea with egg pudding instead of boba pearls. I love how they have seasonal flavors. It's always fun to try their drinks.“
“1st time coming here with my Son and his Mom And I'm a tell you Something my Son LOVED the Arcade Machines They had Here FREE CREDITS... And the food was Good ? I had the Asada Burrito ? and 2 Asada Tacos ? I'll Be Back Soon...Parking: It has a beautiful mural L.A Legends...“
“Beautiful setting; cabanas and palms and lights on the patio. Free parking in the lot across the street. The hands down best damn pizza (Ozzy's Apizza) in LA. Crispy crust, tomatoey, not pastey sauce and fantastic thick pepperoni. Sausage with a kick. Other pizzas I leave the crust but Ozzy's is maybe the best part. Cocktails are on point.“
