Papaya Pastry is an all time favorite neighborhood bakery with a clean, welcoming spot and great staff. The place is nice and clean, and the lady helping is really friendly. Everything looked amazing and was fresh. Customers love the pastry, with the Napoleon pie being a must-try. The Nutella and raspberry flavors of the Napoleon are extremely delicious. Another favorite is the signature cake, a Napoleon or Mille Feuille cake with delicious raspberry jam, cream, and crumbled puff pastry. The Sesame seed round ones are super delicious. A newer obsession is the gluten free cookies, which are light, buttery, and the perfect amount of sweetness. The walnut cookie is crunchy, the almond cookie is chewy, and the chickpea cookie is a favorite. For years, loyal customers have found the sweet treats amazingly great and fresh, making the drive from Orange County well worth it.
