“Pepe's is the best Mexican food in Goleta, hands down.My family has eaten Pepe's for over 49 years ...I can remember eating Pepe's when i was a small child. Now i take my daughter, and she loves it .It hasn't changed much over the years other than the addition of the outside patio, a new bar area, and a few remodels over the years .Same great food and same great service !!“

Roundin Third Sports Bar Bar • $

“My favorite little dive in Goleta/SB. Super affordable, great drinks, good place to watch the game, especially Sunday football because there's a ton of TVs. Andrew is the best, most attentive bartender ever! You can order food from next door, and they'll bring it over to you. Always stop by here when I'm passing through “

“These Birthday Churros totally take the cake! (Pun alert). Best churros in town, crunchy on the outside, perfection in the center- and they threw in strawberries and dulce de leche to boot! The establishment is in a convenient location with lots of parking. Store was clean, staff friendly and helpful. It was quite popular and busy, but extremely efficient. Says a lot about the food & reputation! I highly recommend it. Forget the Birthday Cake and head to Los Agaves for the best birthday churros in town!“

Break Time Bar • $

“This is a neighborhood dive bar. Okay that's what it is, the drinks are very stiff and cheap. The seats are worn, and the clientele local and regular. If you come here often, they treat you well, which is what you want in a neighborhood dive bar. All of these 1-star reviews b*****g about the aforementioned aspects of this place seem to be from very basic batches complaining, literally, about us, the clientele as being somehow "weird" and the bartenders as being somehow inattentive. I'm guessing these are not people who frequent dive bars, but that's the vibe. Sorry. If you don't like it, go to a craft brewery. No basic batches allowed here.“

“We heard this was a lovely little place to enjoy a meal while watching the sunset across Santa Barbara orchards. We were not disappointed! We arrived just before dusk, sat by their fireplace with mai tais. Dinner was fantastic! They had salmon on the menu so I asked for a side of grilled asparagus. It was perfection! They should make it a regular dish! My family enjoyed their soft tacos and chicken ceasar. Above all else was the service. Our host, Victor bent over backwards to make our evening special and checked in regularly to see if we needed anything to make the meal better. (I've eaten at many places but rarely had such genuine care.) We will definitely come again, for the food, view and care.“

“Food is always great and some of the best fries I have ever tried! (Thin style). The Chicken Marsala is my favorite. Service is fantastic, they are so attentive and always eager to please and the decor on the walls is so much fun to look at, they have outdoor patio dining too where they are dog friendly and even have water bowls. Back to ambiance and or decor: we love it. My wife loves the salads and fish dinners. Good variety of menu items and full bar. Try it, we go often!“

“We attended for Valentine's Day and had the dinner for two. The ambience is nice and the staff are really sweet. The food itself was amazing. A bit slow on the service- we were there for about two hours, which is tough on a weeknight. Our cheesecake was frozen solid but had good flavor. I'd return for the food, but I'm not sure that the V-day special was good value for money due to service and dessert.“
