They have a nice variety of food and beers. My wife got a cider and I got a peanut butter stout. It taste exactly like peanut butter. I liked it. We also ordered a few things to share. We got a pizza, some pulled pork tacos and a burger. My daughter ordered the macaroni and cheese. Even though I didn't try it, it looked good and she liked it. “I'm go here for brunch whenever I can. The food is always amazing. My cousin did order the chicken fried steak and took a bite and it was disgusting though. We all tried a little bit of it. I wasn't even sure it was steak. It tasted like bad seafood and was so foul I didn't want to swallow it. Our waitress saw that hardly any got eaten and didn't offer to take it off. My cousin isn't one to necessarily complain and it was her birthday.. but if someone orders a chicken fried steak for their meal and doesn't eat it then I'd hope they would question it a little more. The mimosas are beautiful and tasty but small serving size for the price. Despite these small negatives I def will continue coming here and bringing new people but I just won't ever order the CFS. This place is amazing other than that and I will continue to tell people about it.“

She related her experiences and the history of the Cafe. In discussing the history, I found that an old friend of mine was a partner of the Cafe. We had fun reminiscing and catching up with our current life. Knowing her love of Folsom and its history, I am positive that she will relate the good, bad and probably the ugly. Getting to the Cafe, I ordered the Cali King. Grilled chicken breast with mayo, lettuce, tomato, avocado, bacon & pepper jack cheese on a brioche bun. I choose side tossed salad, which was delicious. My friend tried the Bob Dole Burgah. Grilled 6oz burger with mayo, lettuce, tomato and Korean BBQ glazed pineapple slices on a brioche bun. She also got a side of Sweet Potato Fries. Everything was so delicious and so well cooked.Sorry, sometimes I forget pictures because of hunger. “My kiddos wanted to get out of town so we headed up the hill. Burgers were on their radar so we searched what was available and we randomly stopped here. There was a light show parade going on which the kids thought was cool.I really didn’t have high hopes as too many highly rated burger joints in Sacramento can’t get it right (when did people forget to season meat?!?). But we were all blown away. Perfectly seasoned (FINALLY) and cooked burgers. Burger was very tasty, and melted in your mouth. Veg was fresh and crisp. Incredible fries and shakes that tasted home made. The 1/3 burger with medium fries was spot on for serving size.Sure the place could use a coat of paint and some upkeep. Alivia was amazing, her smile, conversation and attentiveness made for a great evening. We had the Campfire Feast, which started off with their awesome cheesy bread and crispy Brussels sprouts for appetizers. The main courses were baby back ribs w/bacon blue baked potato for myself and rib-eye also w/bacon blue potato for my friend. Both were delicious and plentiful, thus requiring take home containers. The meal was finished with the chocolate cake, ice cream and hot fudge sauce. Overall a wonderful meal. I'm sure to return and will seek out Alivia for another great experience.“

The burger was good. The salad came dressed which is a nice touch. I stole a few of my wife's fries. They were very good and easily passed the Good-When-Cold Test. Buck & Sadie's is a nice relaxed burger restaurant with excellent service. The only negative was the very aggressive, to the point of being rude, drivers in the parking lot.“
