“Really really really good. I love coming here to eat and for take out. My wife always gets the nachos with fresh pico and I'll generally stick to a burrito. I attached a photo of my finished burrito (was planning on taking a picture of it before but it looked and tasted so good that I ate it all before remembering to snap a quick pic)“

“This restaurant was recommended by the front desk person at our hotel. We made reservations at another restaurant we always go to on our way to or from LA when we take Hwy 101. It was a really great restaurant with an old western feel but really nice. Service was excellent and food exceptional. I would've given this restaurant an overall 5 but it took over an hour (1.25 hours) to to cook the double pork chop. And even though it said could take up to 45 minutes which we totally understood but we arrived at 5:15 when the restaurant just opened and not many guests in the restaurant. I would still highly recommend anyone near Santa Maria to experience Far Western Tavern (actually in Orcutt just outside of Santa Maria) it's worth the visit.“

“We are regulars here, sometimes the chef comes out and greets his customers, and make sure they’re enjoying the food. Everything we’ve ever had here is absolutely amazing and delicious, the service is impeccable for two years we come here at a regular basis probably once every two months, and it’s a very enjoyable time.Kid-friendliness: It’s a family atmosphere“

“I really liked the experience here. To start off with unlike most bowling alleys they actually had my size and when the shoes came out they were in decent shape and clean. The bowling alley itself was a typical bowling alley experience. Not really much to talk about. Although they also have a couple billiard tables if you are waiting on a lane to open up which is a nice touch. The folks working here were nice and answered our questions pretty quick. The food here was way better than typical bowling alley food as were the drinks.“

“We ordered the lamb loin (medium rare)with squash as a veggies and smashed potatoes. It was great. Of the two entrees, one was cooked perfectly to medium rare. The other, however, was cooked medium. The spumoni bomba for dessert is always killer!“

“Restaurant is tucked away in old Orcutt, pretty popular with your typical American breakfast offerings. Due to its popularity, there is a wait, but it wasn’t terribly long. The food was good, the atmosphere is that of your typical cafe, the kitchen staff is fast and on point. The service was okay, the waitress looked like she didn’t want to be there, no smile, no politeness, nothing. I don’t know if she was having a bad day, but there was no need to be standoff and constantly roll her eyes. Overall 4 stars for food, but service left a lot to be desired.“

“Fire grill is located at the food court at the mall in Santa Maria. My son and I were traveling and used the Tesla chargers at the mall so we got some lunch. My son got the loaded fries with grilled chicken. They were okay, not a lot of flavor. I ordered the Rodeo Char burger. The meat was really good. It was a half chicken half brisket meat mixture. Burgers are sold by themselves. You can order fries or onions on the side if you want. Overall it was a nice spot for lunch.“

“A local spot with a very large selection of sandwiches. We went simple with the cheeseburger, tri tip BBQ sandwich and an order of fries. It was all really tasty and the portions huge! I only ate half of the tri tip sandwich and I was full. Impressive fries and impressive how everything came out piping hot. A great local place for lunch.“

“If you haven't tried the new Menu at the Market Place, it is extensive for both breakfast and lunch and it is terrific! The omelets are worth the trip for breakfast and the salmon salad and burgers are excellent for lunch. Of course, lots of other choices and we have yet to be anything but totally pleased.“

“This is my second visit to Santa Maria for work, and the second time staying at the Santa Maria Inn. I’ll start with the rooms, I’ve only stayed in the newer rooms (tower) and I love! The original rooms are older because it’s a historical hotel, so know that when coming. This hotel has it all, no need to leave, pool, 2+ bars, and a restaurant with great food. I came to the bar everyday after work (don’t judge). The vibe is on point, brunch on Sundays with bottomless mimosas, say less!! Tiffany is in the bar on (Sunday) and let me tell you from a back in the day server, she is giving the hospitality vibes and surely bringing people back no doubt! Super sweet, attentive and even remembered me from months past, (speaks to my server soul)! If not for the sweet front dest staff and good food, come for the tasty libations and Tiffany!!“

“Great 19th hole ambience. The pro shop is also connected to the restaurant and they seem to have the latest equipment and all the top brands are represented. I wish they had local golfwear juggernaut Straight Down represented but I'm sure they'll make a deal soon. Service was friendly and welcoming.“

“This is a fun and funky diner in an old rail car. The interior is papered with old ads from prior decades and old fashion jukeboxes are in each table ( just for decor). They bbq and also have Greek food on the menu so a plethora of choices depending on your mood. A nice place for a casual lunch or dinner.“

The portions were quite large for the money. I had a bacon cheeseburger, and my husband had the tri-tip nachos. Neither one of us could finish our meals.“
