“A hidden gem! Recently went her for drinks and dinner. I was a little hesitant when we drove up but once inside I was pleasantly surprised. The team working there were very friendly and the cocktails were great! We got the P-51 Mustang BBQ sliders and the fries and it was amazing. This is not bar food but slow cooked short ribs that tasted home cooked. I will definitely be back and highly recommend you give them a try!“
“How this place isn’t the most talked about restaurant in LA will blow my mind. Incredible. Fantastic. I would eat here everyday if my wallet could afford.Get their Lomo Saltado taco and you will dream about it for the rest of your days. You’ve been warned.“
“LA Ale Works in Culver City is awesome! They have trivia every Tuesday, hosted by Lucky Guess Trivia, and specifically trivia master Drew. The questions are challenging, the host is hilarious and it's just simply a good time! The bar itself is cozy, drinks are great and added bonus that it's dog friendly. :)“
“Our first time trying this spot. Once I heard there was a lobster specific spot in the South Bay, I had to give it a go. Fun little spot with a bar top as well as booths and tables. We had the lobster rolls Connecticut style, waffle fries, and flaming hot lobster fries. Definitely worth a try. We knew going into it that it would be a pretty penny but wanted to get the full experience on the first go. Also, friendly service definitely stood out. Much appreciated. If you're in the mood for lobster check this spot out.“
“I recently came here for an event and the drinks were delicious, the staff were so respectful and kind. Especially Cristina who answered all my questions with detail and was so welcoming from the beginning. The bartender Domenic who was very attentive and professional. Brisa was lovely as well, kindly making recommendations and be so inviting. The space is modern, large, and cozy. Thank You to the entire staff for making me feel welcomed and treating me with so much kindness and respect. I appreciate you all!“
“The food was very good. My favorite thing was the spicy Pescado tacos. The chorizo scramble on toast was not as good as I was hoping it would be, but I did love the mimosa option with a flight of juices to kind of make your own mimosa. got there fairly early so there weren't many people and there, so the noise level was low and the atmosphere there is very charming and warm..“
“The lobster grilled cheese with soup is everything. Every time we come back, it’s just as good as the times before. My partner likes the Tot Nachos. The first time we came we tracked down street parking. Then we realized there’s a parking garage with an entrance in the back of the building. Added convenience.“
“We had a great time at Escondite, the patio is great, heated & enclosed enough to keep much of the weather from you. The interior reminds me of a few Seattle bars I've been to. Narrow, booths, antler chandeliers. It seems decidedly Northwest. While I enjoyed the gig, the place isn't really set up for a rock/punk show. It seems to me designed for a low key band where patrons would enjoy the music from their seats. Well drinks are about $10 & this place seems to love Malort!“
“Socalo is consistently great. Everyone I introduce it to ends up returning on their own. Everything is great here, the food especially of course (the menu is innovative with kind of a classic base and the ingredients are very high end). Somehow though, they manage to keep the prices reasonable. The staff is really nice, the design and atmosphere are beautiful both during the day and the evening. I love that it's an all day restaurant so you can even grab a meal or a snack during in-between hours. This place is kind of a sleeper favorite and because it seems to be under the radar a bit, getting a reservation is always easy. I truly love this place.“
“This place is PHENOMENAL!!! Every time I've been here it has been killer. The staff is awesome, and the consistency of the food is right on. I recommend the Lobster tacos, Cali lobster roll, and the Lobster fries. This is my go-to place for all things lobster.Edit: Came here again today and this place seems to keep getting better. Great food, Excellent Service. The Lobster Bisque and the Clobster roll are fantastic!!“
“It’s such an amazing experience to get some fresh seafood there! We were looking for shrimp cocktail everywhere. It seems that shrimp cocktail is such an “old/ comfort” food now which is difficult to find nowadays! It was fresh and delicious!!!! And we got some clams, mussels, and shrimps with garlic butter which were delicious! The nice guy who helped, Brock, was so nice, helpful, and kind! We had such an amazing time, maybe also it’s a weekday and everyone there was having a blast!“
“Love this place! Friendly staff, greats drinks. It's not a party environment, the energy is very laidback. Great place to have a genuine conversation with friends/dates, you won't need to shout but you'll still be in a buzzing, fun atmosphere“
“The beef carpaccio is a miracle of a dish. I hope they never remove it from the menu because I would order this daily if I could. The orange wine was ok, chilled red was good. Halibut was ok. Very small intimate setting.But...the beef carpaccio makes this 5 stars.“
“This location has gone under numerous names and owners over the years but this incarnation is the best so far. Great beer options, well stocked bar, and a very good kitchen are all available to the visitor. I came by for lunch and ordered the cheese steak sandwich. It was AMAZING. They use truffle cheese, great bread, and the whole thing was delicious. Small pickle slice and pickled veggie garnish was a great touch. Service is solid and the place was not very crowded at noontime. Lots of live music and other stuff going on at night too.“
“Hidden gem!!! Anna Marie was our bar tender. She is the best bar tender of all times. She was sooo sweet. Her energy and personality alone earned more than 5 stars. I tried the Schrute farms which had beet infused gin, pomegranate, pineau des charantes and lemon.. this is the best cocktail I've ever tried. I asked Anna Marie for more recommendations. We tried almost every cocktail she recommended and they were all amazing. This is my new favorite bar.“
“It's really hard for me to give a full 5 stars. Creative cocktails? Check. Imposing whisky collection? Check. Loud music blasting so hard you have to shout your order to the bartender and shout to the person in front of you? Check.I feel like it's a ton of wasted potential. Disregard my inner cocktail nerd wanting to talk about alcohol with the bartenders but it's even hard to talk to the person sitting next to you.I'll probably try again tomorrow and update my review afterwards. All of that said, the drinks are very good so try it even if you end up just drinking them in silence.“
“Never had ramen broth that wasn't made from pork. The taste was amazing, light, refreshing and less oilier than tonkotsu. The noodles were boiled to perfection, chewy and delicious. The TanTan Men were tasty as well, the peanut broth wasn't too overpowering. I will definitely go back again in the near future.“
“First time visited here. We ordered Lunch Special Taco combo . It comes with rice and bean. ?? price was great! And also we ordered Aguachile . Display was very Beautiful too! I will be back when they have during Friday night dinner with show or Saturday karaoke or Sunday Drag show with brunch~ ???“
“really solid burgers & tots it wasn't quite as smashed as i would prefer, (or as smashed as it was the first time i went) resulting in a bit of a thicker undercook but still tasty. close to the beach. street parking can be a bit tough but you'll figure it out“
“Amazing service, good prices, good drinks... Even better staff! I forgot my phone and the bartender, Daniel, was waiting outside with my phone for me as I was running back from a couple blocks over. I just wanted to express gratitude for this bar for hiring good people who actually care about their visitors.“
“It’s ironically a local brewery to where in life in Georgia, but this nice hipster style brewery with a good choice of beers (some exclusively only available in CA) and incredibly friendly staff…much better than the sports driven bars nearer to the Crypto. I believe it’s only recently opened, so I wish them all the best….I just wished I discovered it last week when I arrived and not on my last day in LA.“
“We accidentally went to another brewery instead of this one but I'm glad we got back in the car and headed here... food was good and beer was even better... I tend to like my beer colder but other than that it was good. They had live music which is what attracted us to this place!“
“Places like this is why I like to travel. They weren't even on my list, but they were across the street from my hotel and playing good music. As soon as I checked in and settled into my room, I dodged traffic to grab a drink and listen to some tunes. They have someone playing every night. They don't have an extensive alcohol list, and I didn't see any liquor, but they had beer, wine and bubbles. I tried all the IPAs they had on tap, Garage something was the winner. I ended up going multiple times over my two day stay. Chatted with the bartenders and some of the customers and musicians. All cool people, GVO. Sunday night I only caught the last two songs of the set, but Monday was open mic and they had several decent musicians that played a couple songs each. I was impressed, but as you can imagine, talent levels are starkly different for LA artist and Pascagoula regulars. So I might not be the best judge if you're really an audiophile. No cover but that does show up in the price of drinks. Come for HH though if you want to pregame for the shows.“
“This establishment offers a pleasant dining experience. During my recent visit to Los Angeles, I discovered this restaurant and was impressed by the quality of their cuisine. The hot dogs were particularly noteworthy, as they were both flavorful and generously sized. The portion of fries provided was also substantial enough to satisfy the appetites of two individuals. While the beverage selection was limited to basic options, it was adequate. I intend to revisit this establishment during my next trip to the area.Additionally, I observed an intriguing decorative element within the restaurant: the walls were adorned with one-dollar bills.“
“Great space with plenty of parking! Menu includes a few unique signature items. Ordered the Mason Latte. Very nice. The space is great with an modern upstairs seating space and a casual outdoor seating space. This place would be great in summer.“
“Thoroughly enjoyed Far Bar’s happy hour, which runs from 3-7pm Monday to Friday, and all day Monday. Best value play is the Burger Special ($13), which includes fries and a Sapporo or soda.Wings are also excellent. Will try their shrimp tacos next! Service is awesome and the vibes are casual yet with a classy decor (especially outside). Love this historic spot!“
“My wife had looked at a few menus before our trip to the Santa Monica Pier and had her heart set on the clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl. Not wanting to order the same thing, I decided to try a Connecticut style lobster roll for the first time, and my son wanted some grilled white fish, so he got the kids rice bowl. All of us really enjoyed our meals and while yes, you're going to pay a little more because of the location, we thought it was a great value and a delicious meal!“
“Nice local place good food and drinks at a reasonable price. Great place to watch the games. The staff is very friendly. I had the Barbacoa Quesadilla that was very good. They have a private room for parties of business you can book. Great place to hangout and meet the locals.“
“Lovely place, great atmosphere, music and good food. Visited last year. The staff was very friendly, we were short on cash and had just too little for the beers. The employee gave us the beer for free, because a good burger should come with a beer. Fantastic!“
“I ordered the strayberry matcha latte(medium), the regular matcha latte(medium and large), kaarage, takoyaki, spicy tuna roll, tori soboro and a spicy mild tonkatsu. The meal came out really quickly and the food was delicious. I was suprised that the hard boiled egg was thinly sliced than into 2 parts. It wasn't busy at all and a pretty decent space to move around. Theres also outside seating as well as indoor ones. The kitchen is right in the open area and isnt closed off so you can see all the prep and food. The drinks had different milk options, I chose soy milk. In total before tip it was $78. They also had different merch like tote bags, t-shirts and more. I was tempted to get the desserts, but was unfortunately too full to try them.Wheelchair accessibility: Theres no 2nd floor so everything is ground level.“
“Delicious burgers and standout fries in a very pretty location by the water in Marina del Rey. You order at the counter then they serve you indoors or on the patio. Getting a table is a bit tricky and they aren’t too fast to turn them / clean up, but that doesn’t detract from a tasty burger!“
“Att: Customers of El Compadre do not order online from this app app.orderhero.us its a SCAM. they take your money and the restaurant does not receive your order. It has nothing to do with the restaurant. Call the restaurant, its the best way to secure your order directly.“
“Good service. Place seemed clean. The girl working the front was by herself & probably needed help during lunch. The fries were good & fresh. The chicken in the gyro was spiced well. They could've given more meat in the pita. I didn't like the mustard sauce they use on the pita. I'd come back & ask for the regular tzatziki sauce next time.“
“I went there to watch a Lion's game. It was already at capacity, so I had to wait in line for a little while. Luckily, I could see the game from outside and keep up with the game.Once I finally made it inside, I found out they were out of cider and hard seltzers. They only had beer, white wine and red wine. They ran out of wine around half time too.Overall, the ambiance was amazing, the crowd was great, and the staff was super friendly. I just wish they had more gluten free options for food and drinks.“
“Omg BEST PIZZA ever!!! So nostalgic and Bobby makes you feel like you’re truly eating with family! I started working near by and I am so happy that I found a local place to eat that taste Amazing and has the greatest vibes!!!! Regular for life <3“
“We just ate here last weekend and my falafel gyro combo was very good. My wife had a salad which was way smaller than I would have anticipated, especially for the price. The mango sangria was delicious too! Service is great but for the price, portions were smaller than expected.“
“?? Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 stars)I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lomita Alehouse during their Octoberfest celebrations, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! ??At first glance, the bar may seem a bit small, but do not let that deceive you. The cozy atmosphere adds to its charm, and it creates a wonderful sense of camaraderie among patrons. ??What sets Lomita Alehouse apart is their inclusion of a billiard table. This added feature is a great way to engage with friends while enjoying a drink. I had a blast challenging my friends to friendly games of pool.??One unique aspect that I really appreciated was the utilization of the outdoor parking area for a live concert. This addition was unexpected but turned out to be an amazing surprise. The atmosphere was electric, and the good vibes were contagious. ??The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure everyone had a great time. They seemed genuinely passionate about making the experience memorable for all customers. The service was quick, and the drinks were reasonably priced. ??Overall, my time at at this bar was truly enjoyable. The combination of the Octoberfest celebration, billiard table, and the vibrant atmosphere in the outdoor concert area made for an unforgettable night. I highly recommend giving this bar a visit if you're looking for a good time. Cheers! ?? #arnoldvides“
“SO FUN. One of my favorite breweries in the South Bay. As a person who loves to sample and loves a diverse menu, this is a perfect place for me. The servers have always been so nice when we came (although service can be a bit slow on those busy nights). Parking can be tough!“
“I know this place is in a super sketch area & the place is definitely not impressive but hear me out... the beers are super cheap $5, people here are super friendly, and the music is so lively! It's definitely not a first date kinda place. It's more suitable for super relaxed people who are trying to avoid the crowds while still being able to have a good time. My fiancé and I randomly passed by and happened to hear music. Today, we had nothing to do so we decided to stop by. The Dj played a mix of cumbias, merengue, bachata, reggaetón & corridos he even allowed customers to karaoke. We had such a good time laughing and dancing the night away. +Brownie points for the clean restrooms! Cash only Closing time depends on the clientele“
“Great place to eat! Smokehouse burger was very good! Lots of fries and the great service mixed with the history and solid song selection makes this place now an all time favorite of mine! Can’t wait to go back when they have live music! Worth the price.“
“Love this place but today I had the wings and was very upset.Wings were barely warm tasted like they were not fresh. Buffalo sauce was almost tasteless. Like I said I love this places food but the wings were not on par with all the other food I have gotten there.“
“Celebrated my birthday on a Wednesday, 2nd time in a row. Cool spot, great outdoor area, with heat lamps. Friendly staff, cool music.Downsides, no food aside from hot dogs and only street parking.Vegetarian options: None, no foodParking: No lot, only busy street.Kid-friendliness: It's a bar so no!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs so good!“
“I really like this place and I'd never been here before until just a few days ago. I really loved their Fleetwood Mac N' Cheese! I don't drink but I like hanging out in the atmosphere and drinking a soda pop or something lol. I highly recommend this place. :)“
“We just left the SoFi stadium after the game. Came here to wait out the traffic. The walk here was well lit, clean, and had plenty of police and security to make us feel safe. The food was good, the atmosphere was better. Our server Raul HUSSLED around getting us our food and drinks! 10/10 recommend. Now we're leaving in a great mood, and our Uber should be right here. It's totally worth it to wait out the traffic.“
“Got into town late and was looking for something open past 9pm on a weekday and found this place closeby. Was a chilly night so hot ramen and beers to end the night was a win win for me.Parking was tight but we were seated right away, ordering the ramen set, fried rice and some beers. Service was quick, food was hot and delicious and we all left full and satisfied. 5 stars??“
“Noisy dark bar with people having a blast.Yes good quality and quantity of food.I had fish and chips. The single piece I ordered was more than twice as thick as most places have. Partner had pork chops and mash and was satisfied.10 screens to watch, but blink and you will miss the plain door to enter the place.“
“One of my favorite musical artist, Kaiien Cruz, had an album listening party here and IT WAS GREAT!!Brian, the bartender, was super kind. It is a great spot and very spacious. There's a stage, there's space for all to enjoy and not have to worry about bumping into one another. They have a pretty big bar and they also have a patio area where someone can smoke and chill. The artwork at ArtBarLA was STUNNING!! Definitely check it out.Parking could be a bit annoying but there's ample parking around the corner, in the residential area so that was pretty cool. There's also a Bowlero parking lot, around the corner -- take what you want with that lol.“
“I've been to this location a couple of times and the food is always tasty. It is a little spendy for what it is, but it's a good pizza. The location is always clean and the staff has been very friendly. The location is conveniently located in the USC village and is easy to get to from campus. It's worth a visit if you like a tasty pie.As for the pizza, I had the BBQ chicken. If you're like me a despise pineapple on pizza, ? ? this pizza isn't right for you. On the upside, this pizza comes with jalapenos and almost offsets the sweetness of the ? pineapple. The thin crust was a little too floury but the crispness of the crust added to the experience. Overall, pretty good pizza.“
“This is my first time eating seafood boil at a restaurant and I had a great experience here! Luis was our host and he was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and came out quickly. I ordered the shrimp (head on) and snow crab with daddy sauce and medium spice (I didn't feel that it was spicy, but perhaps that is just my tolerance). Would definitely recommend to friends.“
“Great food, great atmosphere, great service! It is the "Cheers" of the South Bay!Definitely need to go by, have dinner and drinks! It also has an amazing Chocolate Stout which is out of this world! Don't miss out on the experience where everyone will know your name!“
