“Went for lunch after 1pm on a Tuesday and had to pay $5 for "valet" parking even though we parked ourselves in the empty parking lot. Otherwise, the food and drinks were delicious as always. The staff at the Cafe are great as well. Park on the street if you can or order takeout (there's free parking for pickup/takeout).“
“Been going here since 2020 and there’s hasn’t been a single time I was disappointed or unhappy with the visit. The coffee and churros are always fresh and taste good. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Truly a spot to visit to hangout, take to go, or even do homework.“

Got the guava croissant and a regular latte. Looks like they make everything in house, as we were able to see their kitchen.“
“After being raised in LA for so many years. I learned that this cafe had been in Hawthorne for many years. We ordered the Frita Cubana, plátanos maduros, some pastelitos de Guayaba y Queso (Refugiados) and Pineapple. It seems as their pastries have a coconut and sugar wash to give the bits a different sweetness layer. We included each a Cortadito, which HIT the spot on a rainy afternoon. The service here was very attentive and fast in a laid back environment. I most definitely recommend this Cafe, over other competitors who have grown too big and have undermined the product. This visit took me back to my childhood being Cuban in LA and going shopping with my parents doing the rounds supporting our community.“
“I recently went into Ding Tea to get a boba drink. I really enjoyed how they have an extensive menu with different drink options. The young girl at the cashier was very friendly and hospitable. I believe her name was Ariana. She recommended me a new drink for me to try which I really enjoyed. The boba was cooked perfectly. The only reason I remove a star, is because the boba shop would be 100xs better if it had a sitting area to enjoy the teas and maybe sit down and enjoy a talk with a friend. But other than that it's an amazing place to grab some boba and some good drinks.“
“We have lived here in Hawthorne for over 16 years and love Vicky's Donuts. From when they provided free donut holes for our preschoolers until now, the services are excellent, the donuts are fresh, and the location is convenient. The family that works there is so friendly, and so are all those who work for them. We highly recommend Vicky's Donuts!“

Lately though on Sunday mornings there is a cashier/barista that isn't very pleasant and almost seems to have an attitude for no reason, like she is forced to be there. I am big on service that is why I am only giving them a 4, they are 5 when she's not there.“
