“IM OBSESSED WITH WHOLE FOODS!! Anyone that knows me knows this about me! This whole foods is huge and lots of plant based sections which is a huge plus. They're missing one star because of customer service. One of the employees at the meat section wasn't that friendly well it was the mix of vegan meat and regular meat but cooked and ready to order food, that section. One of the men came across rude. The bartenders, well the female was nice but the head guy which I'm assuming is the head guy. He's walking around in a white dress shirt, he's the only one not in uniform. He's thin and Caucasian, he's also not friendly. So missing one start strictly for customer service or lack thereof. Other than that I'd return! They have a lot of plant based hot food and desserts.“

“I visited holy grail donuts today. And I'm telling you that it was great experience to enjoy good donuts. You can see how your donut is made and who makes your donuts in the store. It was so fresh and I've been never experienced this before. The vibe was cozy and comforting. Also staffs were super friendly. Strongly recommend. I wish donut shop like Holey Grail Donuts exists in my country too ;( Maybe little bit expensive but worth to try. You won't regret it.“

“The pre-jam bagel at Layla's is the best thing since sliced bread. Get it on a plain bagel so that the bagel doesn't distract from the taste of the incredible seasonal blood orange and cara cara. Pro tip, grab a wet wipe from the side counter by the napkins dispenser so that you can cleanly devour your honey drizzled, succulent sun-soaked bagel of delight and mumble in joy as nectar-like citrus juices drizzle down the bagel into your waiting mouth. In order of favorites: The pre-jam on plain The marli add bacon or salmon, add tomato on sesame The laika on everything The scarlett on sesame And then, sammy's which is a solid egg n bacon sandwich but not on my list of favorites maybe because we got it on an everything bagel- recommended on a plain. Last thing, but most importantly, the rose petal matcha latte is the best drink in west Los Angeles hands down and I'm still dreaming about it now. *chef's kiss*“

“The olympic sandwich is so good I highly reccomend it. It tastes better than the traditional bahn mi yet it still maintains the familiar taste that we all know and love. The interior is also very clean and aesthetic so I would come back to try out the other sandwiches!“

“Matcha Village has the most delicious desserts! We tried the Green Vine Cheesecake and the Fruit Box Cake. Both were fantastic! The consistency of the matcha for the cheesecake was perfection. I wish I could explain it better, but it was amazing. Can’t wait to go back to try some drinks and the Peking deck crepe!!!“

“This was an adorable place for pastries and lunch. There is free parking in the structure nearby, and paid street parking around. My partner and I split the Chilaquiles, which was phenomenal with fresh and crisp chips. The pastry we ordered was an apple danish of some sort, and that was delightful as well. You order in the front before self seating, and enjoying a laid-back time with yourself or your friends. The staff were super friendly. The prices were quite high, but understandable for the location and quality of food.“

“Almost too hip of an atmosphere. Looks futuristic and like a hipster puked all over it but it’s still cute. I miss the old schnackenbergs! This place looks odd in old cute charming uptown Hoboken. It’s very Portland-esque. Good salad tho.“

“After I cancelled Starbucks, I was wondering where I was going to get coffee from when I stumbled onto this gem. It’s run by some great men trying to seed into the community. The free food and drinks they place outside for 24/7 access is proof of their hearts. The product is stellar. I’ve had the coffee and tea which were both fabulous. They also get top marks for offering oat milk (current fav). Anyway, please support these hard working people and support Black owned business.“

We were super sad that Junior and his mom were not in town this time that we stopped, but we will definitely catch up with you guys next time. Thank you for such amazing cookies“

“Okay first, the salsa with the chips and salsa they serve is SO good. Spicy, but with flavor. The vegan quesadilla and the Beyond burrito were also amazing. All the veggies in them were super fresh and cooked perfectly. Also, get a black iced tea. Maybe the friendliest service as well. 100% recommend this place.“

“Good coffee and simple interior design. Will be coming back to try signature drinks and pour-overs. The baristas behind the bar were kind and caring. Even chatting with other customers they kept working and I got well-balanced espresso. Will be coming back with friends to try their pour-over and signature drinks menu.P.S. I hope the owner will add his winning USBC signature drink to the menu. So that not only judges but we all can try it:)Kid-friendliness: They have a small area for kids to play“

“My go-to spot for simple french sandwiches. NEVER DISAPPOINTS! Ive had all of their meat sandwiches and their omelette sandwich. Always so good and fresh. love the crunch of the baguette with their rich butter or their gooey soft omelette. the omelette sandwich is my favorite, because i'm just an egg enjoyer and would prefer breakfast meals over lunch or dinner. I will KEEP on going back here! Also their ice pink praline latte, is a MUST TRY. not overly sweet with a nice floral scent to pair with its creaminess. this place is really a hidden gem in the neighborhood.“

“I arrived on a rainy day and was greeted with the warmest welcome. They made the drinks fast and delicious. The environment was everything and more. Sometimes it gets loud but sometimes it is super quiet like a library where people are focusing. I can thrive in either environment so I enjoy it. Their drinks, their food, and just the staff are so friendly. Now the place itself is such a vibe!! From the cyber car to just the place of comfort to do work is very accommodating. My favorite part is that they provide things to do if you just want to chill from the board games to chess to just sitting comfortably. The only thing is that it does get a bit cold but they have blankets I do suggest one brings a warm jacket, especially during this time of year. When it gets warmer it will be an optimal spot to study, do work, or just enjoy the space. I hope that there are future events soon as well as if there are any part-time positions!! I would apply!!“

“If you're around the area I would suggest visiting this cafe! They have fantastic service and their drinks are always top notch and literally made with love. I usually get their matcha latte or their seasonal drinks if it catches my eyes. Btw their cream topper is always so AMAZING, could literally drink it everyday haha They even sell flowers/plants! It's pretty unique since you can't really find cafes that sells them and they are all so pretty. Plus this cafe has their own merch too. Once I saw their pink tumbler I couldn't help but had to bought it ASAP, such a cute tumbler(The color was to die for)! The baristas are so welcoming and would love to chat with you, they will literally start off your day perfectly :) Also, the parking is pretty small so if you can't find parking I suggest to park in the neighborhood, it'll be a nice short walk :D“

“Cute and friendly cafe inside the SouthBay Galleria. I was looking to try their Nutella Latte, but they had just sold out. Will have to try that on the next visit.I instead went with the Vanilla Rose Latte. It gave me the boost I needed to make it through the rest of the afternoon. The ambience and decor was very inviting, and very much like a neighborhood feel. Reminded me a lot of my neighborhood cafe from when I lived in Leimert Park.“

“5 stars for their drinks, I have been enjoying Erin's coffee since he was at the farmers market in Redondo Beach before he opened up his locations. I'm so happy for him and it's a very encouraging to see everything he has accomplished! Love all the decor especially the RV in the back patio such a nice touch! Service on the other hand, maybe it was just my experience but I would go to the farmers market every Thursday morning for his Chipotle Mochas and they were ice blended and my husband and I fell in love with them. And we work close by to Alana's so around Covid time up until recently we would go into work and would always postmates from there and always order the chipotle mocha ice blended and on Monday April 29 at 11ish we finally went into the shop in person and ordered our drink and shortly after the barista asks "ice blended?" And then continues on saying "like all blended and sh*t" and then pointed right at me and my husband and said "this is you guys?". I felt so awkward and just sat there feeling horrible and I absolutely love this drink but now I don't know if I want to go through the embarrassment again. Very unprofessional and inappropriate language.“

“My favorite coffee place so far! Their mint chocolate iced mocha is AHMAZING!! Creamy, rich while still being able to taste the coffee. The chocolate shavings on top were also delicious and nice addition. Limited parking as all we found was street parking but that's okay. Fast service. Their nutella croissant was divine and absolutely delicious! When in LA, will definitely be back!“

“My coffee was just okay- but it was also a better price than most. This place is ADORABLE though. The little red and white striped umbrellas make it hard to miss- even tho I did. “This is a cozy, local neighborhood hangout and a great place to meet up to grab a bite and a latte. My favorite is the egg in the hole avocado toast. So satisfying and delicious. The service is always friendly. Some days takes longer than others to get your food so if in a rush, try ordering ahead. Also, parking is notoriously bad in this court so I recommend parking in the VA lot and walking over.“

“A vibrant and cool coffee shop with food options as well! I tried the seasonal Baklava Latte and it was probably the best flavored latte I've ever had! I will DEFINITELY be coming again!! Thank you guys for a great coffee experience :)“

“Bodega has best of both worlds! You can grab a coffee and get some work done or you can grab a glass of wine and catch up with friends. I love coming here for both! Also their pizza is the best pizza in LA in my opinion ! At 5pm everyone puts their laptops away and it turns into an actual wine bar! LOVE IT ! Service is great! Ambiance is so cool! Lots of natural light which gives it a coffee shop feel! There's tall tables, a long bar and also couches to sit. They also have an outside patio for those warm sunny days !“

“I was in the area for a tire and in desperate need of coffee. I asked the barista which to get and they recommended the horchata latte, I got it with half the sweetener, iced and it was perfect. I even splurged and got a the tomato & mozzarella empanada (also recommend by the barista) chefs kiss! Came with a chipotle sauce of some kind and so fresh. I also opted for the spinach, egg and cheese empanada which was also delicious. Will definitely be back when in the area.“

“Coffee for $5 total! And it’s not small! They also accommodate my service dogs and have never complained. I randomly ended up here after going to ground coffee down the street. They wouldn’t accept cash and it made me so angry that I walked down to this shop, being a loyal customer ever since. I don’t even drink coffee (maybe once a year, when I need the energy for a crazy day) but it tastes that good I keep coming here weekly. Staff members are amazing and deal with a lot while keeping up with the rush. They can get busy at times! It’s definitely a popular place. There’s two small tables outside to sit at and you order at the window outside. It’s cute and has a friendly atmosphere. They have rewards so after 10 coffees you get a freebie. Love this place“

“I recently tried Stereoscope's pour-over coffee, and I must say it was top-notch. Their specialty coffee selection is truly exceptional. One of my favorites is the Guatemala, which offers a delightful blend of flavors including strawberry, grape juice, heavy body, and fudge notes. The brewing process and attention to detail really shine through in every sip. I highly recommend giving Stereoscope's pour-over a try if you're looking for a premium coffee experience.“

“This Sul & Beans location is nestled onto the second floor of Madang Plaza and alwaysssss busy. I've popped in a couple times and been seated right away but typically at night, you'll wait a bit. Especially on the weekends. There is a huge parking garage but you gotta cross your fingers you don't want to leave at the same time a movie lets out at CGV. If the timing is wrong, you can get stuck in the garage for thirty minutes. I've tried many flavors over the years~~~oreo, strawberry, mango (which is always a star of the show with so much fruit piled on top), red bean - I'm pretty sure I've had them all. I've never had a flavor I didn't like. Patbingsu is always pretty and instagrammable, the dessert at Sul & Beans is no exception. Always great flavor and love bringing friends here.“

“I'm travel for work and pleasure and I'm always looking for a coffee shop with good vibes. In the US, it's rare to find a black woman owned coffee shop that also roast their own beans! These ladies know their beans! You will feel welcome when standing outside, and then when you go in, the love will comfort you like a hug. They have the best Guatemalan roast, I've found in this country from east to west and north to south! If you don't believe me, then try them out.“

“This is by far my favorite coffee shop in Los Angeles. Exceptional selection of beans, excellent baristas, and impeccable vibe. Daniel is a particularly talented barista, and his pour overs are among the best I’ve had. I’ve also had the JBS latte, vanilla latte, and the tonic. All are amazing and unique! I appreciate their efforts to create an experience, it’s certainly not another grab and go type of place which is refreshing.
