“The place looked like it was almost done with a fresh remodel. Bunch of TVs were being set upWas cool to see the kitchen right there.Food was delicious had multiple kebabs with chunks of beef and chicken. Quality seemed really good!Good rice, the humus is fantastic and the garlic sauce had a nice kick! Will be back in the future, highly recommend for others to give it a shot for some Mediterranean“
“This is a 5+++, as you would be hard-pressed to find a more creative, flavorful and truly life-changing pasta meal than at Cento. The Spicy Pomodoro Pasta may be the singularly most delicious pasta dish on earth. The lamb meatballs… to die for. The grilled octopus, OMG. Pasta will never be the same for you. The beet spaghetti? Just ask Luca… it becomes part of you. Highly recommended.“
“This is one of those places I wish I had tried earlier. Everything we’ve had was fresh, high quality and delicious. I’d suggest ordering at the restaurant so you can meet the terrific people who own the restaurant and experience the care they put into making your meal.“
“You will not find better service than when you enter Borjstar. Honestly, they treat you like a star. They are attentive and incredibly kind, friendly, and accommodating. The food is just as great. Very flavorful and leaves you wanting more! They also have a yogurt/ice cream dispenser so you can treat yourself before/after your meal. Put Borjstar on your list of restaurants to visit in the Gardena/South Bay area. You won't regret it!“
“Love this hidden gem. Great for outdoor dining. I am not a hummus guy but the hummus starter might have changed my mind, it’s a must try. The food is delicious, fresh off the grill. The veggies were perfectly cooked and tasty. The lamb chops were pretty good.“
“Hidden gem. Stopped by a bit early on a Friday night with my wife and kiddo and we had a fantastic experience. Cocktails were tasty, food was delicious, service was excellent, and the vibe was super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend the roasted cauliflower, tuna bruschetta, farmer's cheese, the duck special if they have it, and any one of their fantastic (healthy pours) wines on tap. Can't wait to come back!“
“It was an easy store to enter. The staff was very responsive and explained the Greek cuisine for the first time in an easy-to-understand manner, and we had fun and enjoyed the delicious food. As a Japanese person, this was my first time trying all of these dishes, and I was surprised at how delicious they were. I'm sure you'll be satisfied no matter what you order. The seafood dishes were especially great. I heard that they also offer barbecue on the weekends, so I would definitely like to visit.I am grateful to the owner for speaking to me and explaining the dishes thoroughly.“
“I love going to Luna for Lunch and/or Dinner, in particular , the Culver City location. It’s my go to place. The food is always amazing and the portion is huge that I always have left over for the following day. My favorite is the Mediterranean Salad.. The dressing is amazing. I add garlic kabob chicken and I have enough for my lunch the following day .In addition, they have a great staff. Aidan and Rodney are always so welcoming and friendly. They always want make sure that customers leave regardless Dine in or Takeout fully satisfied.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of choices regarding individual dietary restrictions.Kid-friendliness: There are kids option meal for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space to dine in and outdoor.“
“Insanely good restaurant with really good service and an extremely tasteful decor and music. Great atmosphere, it seems like a family owned restaurant. The food is phenamenal, I have been coming here for a decade, quality has maintained a high level.“
“After a session at the gym, I was fairly hungry and a protein shake wasn't going to do it. So decided to look up a few places and while driving, I saw this at the corner and this place had been on my bookmarks for a while and decided to give this a go instead. Since it's downtown and midday parking is horrendous, but since they're located near an alley, homegirl parked on the red and came in to do a to go order. Walked up to a kiosk and ordered 2 chicken shawarma, one with hummus and the other with mixed greens. ( Summer is coming around the corner, so gotta make sure we're staying within the macros.) I really did enjoy my plate, the wrap was packed with protein which I enjoyed. Usually a lot of places are skimpy with their protein portions, but the chicken was tender and full of flavor. It was also very refreshing as there was tabuleh and pickles. I like the little banana peppers addition to the salad, I just ate them with the shawarma instead. The hot sauce is creamy, pretty mild, but got the job done. PS Would you guys make a halal hot sauce? Just asking because some people like me would like our insides to burn. Lol. Would be coming back just to try their plate .“
“Very impressed with Javan! Service was so helpful and friendly, especially our server Victor. The food was outstanding and so fresh. The combination of flavors in the Alex salad was absolutely outstanding. Our vegetarian Koobideh was delicious. The hummus and babaganoush were perfect. Thank you - we will be back!“
“Ordered a falafel burrito and the hummus with pita, and cheese quesadilla with chipotle sauce on the side via Uber eats.I wasn't crazy about the pita bread itself and the hummus was just ok, but the falafel burrito was great! I love the fries in it and the tahini is delicious. The burrito is very large and very filling, I ended up saving half for the next day and it was still just as tasty. I highly recommend getting a side of chipotle sauce to dip anything you order in!“
“This is a great lil joint hiding away in a not often traveled part of DTLA. It’s a small and cozy spot but the food they cook up is delicious and very good portion sizes. Nothing is crazy overpriced and the flavors of everything are spot on. We got the beef and chicken lule combo and lamb chop combo and loved it all. The char and flavor of the chops and lule was amazing. Plus the rice that comes with it was cooked perfect and I love that it comes with a sumac seasoning to add. Would definitely go back and recommend“
“I can't say enough good things - great food, great service and its Halal! The chicken is so moist, as is the beef. The falafel isn't dry, which makes the wrap a must have. Run don't walk on this storefront. It's a little hard to find, so keep looking!“
“We came here Easter Sunday because everything else was closed. We didn't expect much but the food was delicious and the woman at the register absolutely makes this place a gem. She was so kind and friendly, and when we decided to eat in, she basically was our waitress too. She was lovely! We'll definitely be back!“
“We stopped by on a Friday night and we're lucky that, due to the rain, it wasn't too busy and we were seated immediately. We were just outside the front door but the space heater was just enough to make us comfortable throughout our meal. My husband has a nut and sesame allergy so we were a bit limited in regards to the Appetizers but we ordered the Spinach Dip made with homemade organic yogurt, spinach and shallots and it came with some Lavash bread and some cucumber and carrots. It was very refreshing and a perfect start of the meal.Their was four of us. Two of us ordered the Koubedeh Kabob plates, one got the Lamb Kabob and one got the Ahi Tuna Sandwich. All of the entrees were very tasty and a perfect serving size. The only complaint is that the brocoli, which was one of a few diffrent veggie sides, were a bit undercooked but otherwise the rest of the veggies were fabulous and the rice (which we found out was unlimited) was perfectly cooked. It was a very nice meal and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall 10 out of 10 would recommend.Dietary restrictions: My husband is allergic to tree nuts and sesame and they were very helpful and knowledge in the menu and could easily note what he could and couldn't order. While there were limits to what he could order for appetizers the rest of the menu had a lot of options for him.“
“This is the best Turkish food in town. The quality of the food is great. Everything is fresh, The portions are pretty big. My favorites are Sultan Delight and Adana kabab. Their Baba ganouj is the best in LA. It's not heavy. They have a small area where you can eat but it's mostly takeout. This place is literally a hidden gem.“
“Absolutely exceptional food. They always exceed the expectations of any guests I invite and they did so this time.I ordered the salmon kebab today. I was worried it would be dry but it was nice and moist. Great herbs the salmon. Excellent hummus and their garlic sauce is always amazing. Most places do vegetables as an after thought but they are a great main feature here.Vegetarian options: I ordered salmon kabob but it came with a vegetable kabob. Unlike most places where vegetables are an afterthought here they are a main feature. I wasn't specifically looking for vegetarian options I'm sure they have something great for vegetarians.“
“Great service , Great Hookah , Staff are very nice and friendly specially the owner of the restaurant treats everyone very very nice The ambiance is amazing very good vibes here and their Sangak Pizza is very delicious I can say they are among the top 3 hookah bars in Los “
“such a delicious and amazing experience for our first time here in the Kebab Shop. to start with, the interior is on point, very clean and laid back vibes. the service is also wonderful, the kind young woman in the front was very sweet. food is absolutely WOW!! so much flavor, the sauces and meats are just so delicious. i would recommend this place any day <3Vegetarian options: falafel is available!“
“This is my favorite place in the south bay, its mandatory after a beach day, I would take a photo but i always ravage the food from beach or gym hunger before I can…. This place is just unbeatable in the category's it serves. I see it as the best in Mediterranean, portion size, flavor, quality and all out healthy for you, I eat here year round but i start eating alot more in the months leading to summer. got to get my summer body ready!!Vegetarian options: a lot of options for vegetarians its labeled with a green leaf if i remember correct. im not even a vegetarian and i always order their maison special salad, im sure you can just get any salad with no chicken as well.“
“This place is awesome for lunch! Everything is always super fresh and you can tell it's made to order. Portions are perfect and everyone that works there is super friendly. They make pretty much everything in house (hummus, dips, sauces) and all the baked goods are homemade too (the bread is homemade!!) And the parking lot is a huge plus! The food tastes great to go as well so a great option for lunch or quick dinner“
“Beef Shawerma and Vegetarian Mezze Platter were soooo good! Beef was super tender and flavorful. Rice well seasoned and delicious. Falafel amazing! Even though the baba ghanoush and hummus were side dishes in the platter, they were both standouts.I would happily return and highly recommend this place. Good for takeout. Just watch out about the parking situation, especially in the evenings; it's always a pain.Parking: It's a huge parking lot, but it's crazy to navigate because people double park and sit in the middle of an already tight passageway and don't care. Saw many close call accidents.“
“The food is exceptional. Chef Daniel, what can I say your hospitality was beyond words. Your recipes are clever and flavorful. You have to try the appetizer plate that you select and if they are on the menu these puffs with feta and spinach they were to die for. The beauty of the restaurant was also there. Great date place even on a rainy night in So Cal. However when it's not rainy the patio is lovely. Highly recommend. And !! The waiter Chris and waitress Ariel were so nice and attentive when needed and left us alone to talk the dinner away! Love this place.“
“This restaurant was recommended by Turks. The menu is relatively simple and looks like a fast food restaurant hanging above your head. If you have bad eyesight, you can't see clearly. The restaurant cannot seat more than 20 people, so there are outdoor seating options. The parking lot is exclusively occupied by Starbucks, so we can only find a parking spot on the roadside. The food was well cooked, very Turkish style, the portions were huge but all was eaten.“
“I love that placeThe food was excellent they have large choice of mealsI also got an appetizer and a dessert that were great tooThe service was amazing too, the lady who took the order was super nice and explained me everything as it was my first time thereI will def come backThey also have breakfast that looked good ??And it is halal so 6 stars for meThank you“
“We live just down the street from here and it’s one of our favorite places to pick up dinner. We often joke that we could blindly point at anything on the menu to order and would be happy with it. Quality is amazing and pricing is more than fair for the amount of food you get. Highly recommend this place to anyone!!!“
“While the location is not the absolute best, the food and service makes up for any faults. I used to go there all the time when I was younger, and recently decided to try it again a few times. It did not disappoint. I had a chicken kabob with came with an immense amount of sides to go along including white rice, pita and hummus, along with a few vegetables, and garlic sauce. Everything is perfectly seasoned and nothing is bland. This will definitely become a future regular place.“
“I tried chicken maison recently and now I can't get enough. I love their potato salad, rice and garlic sauce is amazing!!!! The service is incredible, friendly employees, clean environment. Quick service, they have exceed it my expectations..“
“This place continues to be top notch. From tahdig to kabobs, you can't go wrong!----OMG... the kabob is out of this world!!! Actually all things on the menu impress! Every time I'm in the area, I make sure to stop by. Our go to:Tahdig with ghormeh sabzi and gheymeh (nomnomnom)MaustShiraziBaghali poloKabob bargJoojeh kabob“
“First time ever in this Balkan type of restaurant. My friend and I arrived around 7PM PST ish...No crowd.Didn't have to wait to enter nor seated.Pretty quickly we got provided a menu,I truly did not appreciate the food like my friend did, but the waitresses were super quick at serving the food, bringing you your drinks, asking if anything else was needed, if the food was OK.Did I answer THAT question?I don't recall, but I don't think so.My friend did. Will I ever go back to this restaurant?Hum.. giving that I live 90 miles away from Culvert City, CA, the chances that I do are very slim.Do I recommend the place?I plead the 5th on this one.But I'll say this though in their defense: the food is not bad.I leave the good part to you all, or you'all.“
“Special thanks to Geovanny for always going above and beyond the regular requirements of customer service. He is always super friendly, helpful and brings a positive energy to the place. The food is always cooked to perfection while the taste of flavor never lacks. I this location provides amazing service, atmosphere and food. Thank you Luna grill<3“
“Couldn't recommend this place more highly. I'm visiting my brother from out of town and we stumbled upon this place for lunch. The service was top notch and the food was incredible. Nothing glitzy about the restaurant; clearly their emphasis is on quality of food and caring well for their patrons. I got a gyro plate and absolutely loved it. It was a ton of food so if you don't have a big appetite it could be lunch the next day“
“Yummy healthy Mediterranean food, cool ambiance, good vibes, friendly staff, and open late! They also have a very generous loyalty program.Vegetarian options: Falafel plate, falafel wrap, baba ghanoush, hummus, cauliflower fritters, lentil soup, different salads, tabouleh, fries…Parking: Small parking lot or there’s a Rite Aid parking lot across the street“
“Ok… this place is fantastic!Everything was truly wonderful.Burrata and caviar with truffle, grilled octopus salad, delicious branzino, and sizzling ribeye with creamy mashers and jumbo asparagus. Food was EPIC! Hats off to the chefs! But also must mention the warm and sincere staff. Jerry, Ramses, Elliott, were all great! Henri the MOD and operations manager should be very proud! And our server Skyler and her support staff Helardio and food runner (didn’t get his name) really made our evening. The entire staff is really what sets a good restaurant above an average restaurant.Summed up in one word. Synergy! This place has it and you should go there now to see it for yourself! Rock on Paloma!“
“We decided to give this place a try after my neighbor gave them a rave review. We ordered online and the food was ready when we got there. The restaurant is not meant for big gatherings but have enough tables to accommodate small families. Very clean and comfortable. We are pleasantly surprised by how big the food portion is. We ordered the chicken plate, it comes with green salad, and 2 sides. The chicken is so tasty on top the rice along with the pita bread and hummus. I could not finish all the food and even my son has left over for tomorrow! Will definitely go back again to try their beef plate.“
“This spot is probably one of the best Mediterranean food restaurants I’ve been to.I ordered the salmon with extra salad, no pita, no bread and two skewers of chicken koobideh. The salmon was very tender and flavorful. The ground chicken kabobs were also very delicious and the salad with their house salad dressing was very tangy and matched well with the meats. Great customer service, two TV’s and a great spot overall.I’d definitely come back again to try their other menu items.“
“ust dined at Shekarchi in downtown LA, and it’s safe to say it’s the best Persian restaurant in Southern California. The cuisine is of unmatched quality and deliciousness, blending authentic Persian flavors seamlessly. The Koobideh and Shishlik come highly recommended for those looking to indulge in the true essence of Persian culinary excellence. The atmosphere of Shekarchi sets it apart, offering a romantic vibe with an American twist, making it the perfect introduction for non-Persians keen on experiencing Middle Eastern food for the first time in an inviting, familiar environment. Shekarchi is undeniably a must-visit for a memorable culinary journey.“
“The food is amazingly delicious!! Wow. So glad that this place opened. A MUST try!!! The owner Ben is super nice! He seems to really care about his customers and the quality of his food. I've visited numerous times and my favorite food is the Chicken wrap. The place is small but very clean looking.“
“I’ve been coming to Mizlala for a few years, and although the food and atmosphere are stellar, the front of staff are often not friendly (cold in fact e.g. no smiles, no warmth, and it feels very transactional) and I haven’t felt welcomed the last few times I’ve come. I write this, not to disparage, but rather hoping that management sees this and realizes that the how cliental are welcomed affects the experience.“
“Got off the airport shuttle and went to this Middle Eastern restaurant in Inglewood close to the airport. It only has a couple tables inside so it's for carryout mostly it seems. Al Hamra has most of the classic favorites. Lots of the good stuff like falafel, hummus, tabbouli, and more. The platters are big and are a lot of food for an okay price. A pretty small place but they have a lot on the menu, and it's better than it looks to be honest. It's not pretty from the outside but it's clean inside. There's the counter to order at, and there's just a few tables. Most people call in orders and get it to go. We were already there so we ate there. It's about $14 for the platters. These are big and come with lots of stuff. I got the Falafel Plate. This comes with hummus, rice, and salad. Good falafel. These were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Ones like these are best. Then I used the pitas to make sandwiches out of these. Convenient place after getting off the shuttle a few blocks from here. It's pretty quick and simple. There's great choices like the falafel for vegans and vegetarians.“
“First time here, we had lunch and we both had the grilled lamb chops plate. Service was very good and friendly. The food came quick and it was fresh and very delicious. Lamb is tasty. Mango Lasi is so good. We will definitely come back!. Area is clean.“
“My Favorite L.A. restaurant by all means. I need to feel the love one puts into their food. And this is the place I feel it the most. Delish, home-style, served with a smile in a kind, friendly way. The one place that I walk into and feels like home. Thank you for you guys“
“A great spot for healthy and delicious Mediterranean food! They're fast but the food is super fresh! Tania makes my orders with care and it always comes out just the way I want. I highly recommend trying them out for delivery or you can also pick up at a ghost kitchen on Sepulveda behind the Sizzler. Food is always consistently amazing when I order and a wonderful choice when you want a healthy, satisfying meal that won't weigh you down! I Reccomend their bowls and Gyro sandwiches ?“
“MUST try FALAFEL sandwich. Perfect with thin pita, scrumptious fresh veggies & sauce. Now my favorite in SoCal. Sorry, intended to get picture but sooo good forgot..lolAzzie is amazing & explains how all is cooked fresh. Went back and bought tge lentil soup!“
“This was our first time here. The service was fantastic. We got here for happy hour. The cost of the drinks was a selling point. Got the coconut shrimp for a starter. Very good. I had the chimichurri steak and fries. The chimichurri was a bit spicy but very good. My husband had the lomo saltado made with filet mignon. Both dishes were excellent. The restaurant was comfortable but maybe a little loud. Okay for me but my husband has me repeat myself. I'm used to that. We will be back. Definitely hit the spot.“
“Jini Pars offers some of the best Persian cuisine you'll find anywhere. From flavorful kebabs to aromatic stews, every dish is a testament to the rich culinary tradition of Iran. The restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and authentic flavors shines through in every bite. Whether you're craving the tender lamb kebabs or the fragrant saffron rice, Jini Pars delivers an unforgettable dining experience. With warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere, it's the perfect place to enjoy a taste of Persian culture. If you're in search of exceptional Persian food, look no further than Jini Pars.“
“Me and my friends went to Holly Grill Food Truck last wednesday. I must tell you their shawarma and chicken sandwich left me thoroughly impressed. The shawarma was expertly grilled, boasting succulent slices of marinated meat that were bursting with flavor. Each bite was a harmonious blend of aromatic spices and a satisfying balance of juiciness and char. The chicken sandwich was equally exceptional, featuring tender and well-seasoned chicken complemented by fresh toppings that added a delightful crunch. The overall experience was a testament to the food truck's commitment to quality ingredients and skillful preparation. I can't wait to indulge in their delectable offerings again soon.“
“The owner, Arthur, is extremely kind and took care of us. You can tell that he loves his restaurant and loves his job. They have a very large selection of items. The items are all made fresh and from scratch here. The ambiance is friendly with beautiful large glass windows on the “
“Hummus has different variety. I chose garlic which I think could be better as it was rather dry. Otherwise, the shrimp kabob was really delicious. Fresh and succulent! The lady serving us was really kind and helpful. More lighting could help with the ambience.“
