“I was shopping all day and was famished. I wanted to keep shopping so I decided to get something that I could walk around with. All over the Hollywood shopping complex, there were pictures of these taquitos in a cup with guacamole so I had to check them out.I went over Tacos Neza which is tucked in the corner of the mall. It was closing time but the staff was super nice and still served me. I told them I wanted to walk and eat and they said this taquito dish would be good for me.Even though the place was closing people were still coming to enjoy the food and ambiance. I walked throughout the shops with my taquitos which were a little too crunchy for my taste but still good and the guacamole was delicious. I will definitely be back here next time I'm shopping. See for yourself.“
“I visited this place about a month ago and I couldn't believe how nice the employees were. So I had to come back to make sure it was real and let me tell you... I have never been in a place with such a nice service. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. They provided my friend and me with an extension cord to connect our laptops... TWICE! They helped us with water, made suggestions to make my sandwich better, they have nice vegan options and the coffee is pretty good. Today it was a bit cold outside and they turned on the heater for us. I can't recommend this place enough!!!“
“CLEAN, SAFE AMBIENT, DELICIOUS, VERY TASTY AND PLANTY OF PARKING. “I've driven by this place for years, including other restaurant iterations, and yet I never stopped, but since gas is so high and my foodie road trips have been cutback to closer locations it was finally time to give them a try and I'm happy to say that I did. It has a much better ambiance than I expected, clean, friendly staff and more importantly, they have a plethora of Mediterranean options for all desires. The combo had a flavorful and fresh taste. I'll be stopping by again for certain and I would recommend it for anyone asking for fairly priced Mediterranean food“
“Phenomenal. Came here because Cafe Vida and Breakfast Republic were slammed. Best Chilaquiles I've ever had. Every bite was delicious. I eat a lot (probably too much) meat; Didn't feel like my dish was missing a thing. Amazing flavor, exceptional service. I will be back soon to try other things on the menu!!“
“I believe i may have just found my Lebanese kitchen in LA!I remember when i was visiting Beirut, I got out of the habit of looking up places before I try their food..the food is just good that no matter where you pick you'll enjoy it...and that's exactly what i can say about Sunnin!I was received with a "genuine warm" smile, one that you miss in today's corporate world. Miriam, our server, was such a gentle, thoughtful, kind and fun person. It was my first time so I asked her to take me through the menu and her favorites...which were many! and so rightfully so!Everything on the menu was made in house from scratch, even their Labneh! make sure you try their yoghurt drink!we started with KEBBEH MAKLIYEH and KEBBEH NAYEH, which usually other places never get right, They were both amazing and quite appetizing , so we ordered more!Their BEEF KEFTA IS THE BEST I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! TABOULEH was so flavorful we couldn't get enough.Their STUFFED SQUASH & EGGPLANT was cooked to perfection! As much as I was so full and couldn't eat anymore, but I had to try their desserts, and I am so glad we did!I ordered a cup of Turkish coffee and OSMALIEH...this OSMALIEH was from heaven! not too sweet, and so easy to eat, it just melted in my mouth!Honestly I am so glad I found this place, and staff's middle eastern kindness certainly elevated our experience that Sunday afternoon!“
“This place is amazing!! I get my car done next door and come here for the yummiest food and best hospitality I've had in LA! Don't just take my word for it... my son keeps asking when I need to get my car fixed again so he can come back here!!!“
“We love Eagle Rock Kabob and order from there almost every week. Menu highlights include the kale salad and the shawarma quesadilla. Their kale salad is always so good. They make a really nice herby homemade ranch for the salad. And we often get the chicken kabobs add-on to the salad. The chicken is so tender and juicy, and they have a great combination of spices. Last night we tried the chicken shawarma quesadilla. It was really one of the best cultural mashups I’ve tried. It has great spice and they add tapenade for even deeper flavors. Melty delicious.“
“My partner and I split The Grain, which is two pancakes, tofu egg, hash browns, and tempeh bacon (or vegan sausage). The date syrup was less sweet than maple syrup. The tofu was seasoned, but the hash browns were bland, so I cut up the tempeh and mixed it all together for a more flavorful scramble.“
“Healthy, consistent Mediterranean spot with wonderful hospitality. Rodney took such good care of us when we were there. He recommended the Lemon Garlic Chicken which was AMAZING. Rodney also let us know about the Club Luna Rewards program which we all promptly joined!Vegetarian options: Wide varietyDietary restrictions: Good at modifyingKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Wow! I have to thank my friend for turning me on to Black Rabbit Cafe. This gem is located inside Abyss Market. I frequent this store after work, so the food cafe is closed when I come here. I was off of work today, and am I glad I ordered the BLAT. Bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato sandwich. It was THE best sandwich I've ever had. Perfect ratio! I'll be back to try more delicious food.“
“My husband took me and the kids here for breakfast this morning and oh.my.goodness. The food, the freshly grown (in-house) ingredients, the people, the ambiance…everything was AMAZING and simply delicious. The cafe itself is so cute and inviting, too. We even bought a couple of pieces of the sign decor that their family hand makes. We had such a wonderful experience! Thank you Jonathan and Christina. Hands down the best cafe we’ve been to ❤️“
“They give you such a huge salad, at a fair price. If you eat a lot, it should fill you up. If you don’t have a big appetite, the salad should last you a couple of meals. The staff are always kind and professional. The atmosphere gets a little bit of a deduction only because of the location but they do a fairly good job trying to keep the area clean.“
“It was my first time eating there and my food was really good! I’m a very picky person because I know how to cook and they impressed me. The food wasn’t expensive but the quality was worth way more. I’m hooked! I got the eggs salad bagel.Zane was super friendly and this new business is a blessing to this neighborhood to have healthy and affordable food in a zen environment!“
“Tonight was the second time we got shawarmas from this place and WE LOVE THEM. We have tried chicken, beef and pork and they are all amazing. The fries are good but really the shawarmas are incredible and HUGE. I can only eat half on one sit but it's great because I'll have the other half tomorrow. We will definitely keep coming here.“
“we were hosting our wedding party to get ready before the ceremony and these guys saved the day when our original plan for food fell through. we showed up out of the blue with no notice and they sprung into action to get the group fed. everyone loved their sandwiches and salads & they even helped us get the ball rolling at starbucks by calling ahead for our coffee order. can't thank them enough they came in clutch for sure!“
“My family and I really enjoy eating here. Jake took our order and Juan helped out with the yummy sauces. Oh man that garlic feta is something special!! The food is good, the service is good and it’s a very clean restaurant. Happy to come back soon!“
“The food and service are great! But it does get busy. The atmosphere is very lovely and I enjoy it when it is quieter inside during off peak hours, as this gives you more space to catch up with friends or do business meetings in a more coherent setting.“
“I used to work down the street and would stop in for lunch often. The wraps and salads are always fresh and love that everything is customizable. Prices are excellent for the portions! My favorites are the chicken Caesar and Greek wraps but you can't go wrong with any of the options! Debi and Mike, the owners, are the nicest people around and it's always great to chat with them when they're there. I miss having this convenient delicious spot so close by but will have to make a stop in soon!“
“I'll Be BackThank you for kindly responding to my rant. You're correct. We all have off days, and I'm going to trust you will return to the place I love.Be Well & Kind2.6.24 Rant:Usually, I love this place, but NOT today. I may as well have swung by Ralphs for a bag of lettuce. There is literally no more than a teaspoon of the toppings I requested. Seriously, did corporate come and slap someone's hand, cuz this bowl is 95% lettuce? I don't see the red peppers I asked for; there's a sliver of ginger and onion, 3 cranberries, and a smidgen of broccoli. The two stars are only because this bowl of mostly grass is fresh.I plan to give you another try in the future, but I'm going to go back to eating at Sweetgreen if this is how you plan to operate moving forward.- Feeling SimplySad and Disappointed“
“Delicious food, but…(and this may be because I’m from Texas where everything is bigger) … but the size of a single skewer of Koobideh for around $20 was questionable at best. Granted, it’s LA and things are just more expensive these days, but Shrinkflation Kabab isn’t quite in line with the Iranian culture of true hospitality IMO.Make the skewers thicker and charge more if you have to! The flavor is great! It’s juicy! Give us more! We will pay more for it!That said, a single skewer of top quality Koobideh meal in Houston is around $16 and it would run circles around any kabab in California. That does make me biased because Houston has the best Persian food in the western hemisphere, but that doesn’t mean any Koobideh should be that small. 4 hours later and it feels like we didn’t have lunch despite spending $50 on two skewers of Koobideh.Good service, good atmosphere, but the food quality needs to be stepped up to be competitive and worthy of high commendation, especially for someone visiting from Houston. So far, Houston 1 - 0 LA“
“Been coming here since I was a teenager and the food has always been good and exceeded my expectations. If you get the plates you will end up with more food than if you get the wraps. The only negative part about this place is the parking. Many different stores in this place and not enough parking spaces. There are one or two handicapped spots too which are always full so try to find a spot even if it’s further away from the store.“
“An LA staple. Everything on the menu is good. If you're in the mood for kebab or Middle Eastern food in general, this Lebanese-Armenian establishment will satiate your cravings. For any location, order online and schedule your pick up. This makes a big difference during the lunch rush. I wish fries were an option though.Vegetarian options: Falafel is the only main item for vegetarians. I believe all the sides are vegetarian too.Parking: There's about 10 parking spots in the lot and some residential street parking. Even during the lunch rush you'll find something.“
“AMAZING delicious food with super high quality ingredients. I asked about EVOO and that's the only oil they use in their dips. Service is terrific. Staff was so, so nice and accommodating. Had driven past this place a thousand times and so glad we finally gave it try! Best Mediterranean food in LA, hands down.“
“we ordered the chicken and beef kebab and they are so good. ? their place is cozy and nice. i love their patio tooVegetarian options: you can check their menu or ask them ☺️Kid-friendliness: kids are welcome hereWheelchair accessibility: very accessible to people who are in wheelchair“
“It had been roughly two years since my last visit to Simply Salad. After embarking on a 4-mile hike at Temescal Canyon, my hunger led me and my companions to contemplate dining at a different salad venue. However, the memory of Simply Salad, renowned for its diverse and inventive salad options, redirected our steps there. Upon arrival, it was apparent that the establishment had undergone a significant makeover, now mirroring the sleek, open-plan design of places like Sweetgreens, where the food preparation is visible and inviting. The staff distinguished themselves with their courteousness, even going so far as to offer a taste test of a dressing, thoughtfully served in a small cup with lettuce for scooping. Their service was prompt, efficient, and friendly, complementing the spotless, welcoming environment. The ingredients on display, especially the lettuce, were notably fresh and vibrant. I was thoroughly impressed by the overall concept and execution. I highly recommend visiting Simply Salad for an exceptional dining experience.“
“The food was just absolutely incredible! Healthy, so many options and the portions are great! The staff always with a smile & very charismatic and kind. They treat you very special. The whole place has good energy & extremely clean. One of my new favorite healthy spots on the go!“
“I've started a subscription order from Everytable and I pick it up at this location in Hollywood every Monday. I have to say, for the price I was very skeptical. Other meal services I've tried are twice the price. But it turns out, this place is the real deal. The food is high quality and tastes great. And the staff that I've encountered at this location have all been extremely nice and helpful. My only complaint--and it's really more of a suggestion--is that I wish they'd offer more "high protein" options, even if they have to be a little more expensive. I think they'd be a hit, especially here in LA. In the meantime, at least they do offer salmon and chicken breast a la carte to supplement any meal.Other than that, this place is practically perfect for me and my lifestyle, not to mention their mission to make affordable, quality food accessible to everyone is about as noble a pursuit as I can think of, especially in the ridiculously wealth-stratified Los Angeles area.“
