“I loved this place. such surprisingly good food for a hole in the wall pub. i went for the beef wellington but enjoyed the fresh burrata app i got too. did have some mixed drinks- delicious super kind bartender. i felt like i was at someone's house lol“
“Exceptional service from beginning to the end. Our server (Pao) was very attentive, thorough, and friendly. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. The restaurant was very clean. My overall experience was a perfect ten. Thank you to the staff at Denny’s on Sunset Blvd.“
“I came with some friends and we really liked this place. It has a rustic, 80s eclectic New Orleans feel to it. Weird description I know but that's how I see it. There are booths, tables, and what looks like a really cool private room in the back. The service was very friendly and efficient, but it also wasn't busy yet. They have happy hour from 4-8 which was lucky for us. I really enjoyed the Country Bear Lemonade. It was so refreshing. Friend had a margarita which used an agave based tequila giving it a slight vanilla flavor which was pretty tasty. All the food items were great. I highly recommend the sweet potato fries, house cut chips, and the hot dog. Sooo good. And the chips come with a sour cream onion dip which made it extra happy. They also offer a few vegan/vegetarian items. Another friend really enjoyed the vegan tacos. We will definitely return.“
“Came here with a large party, and we are all imbeciles who can’t hardly act accordingly. Shelby was graceful enough to help us throughout the night, and assured we had a good time. This place is cool but shoutout to Shelby the backbone of the business.“
“It was tasty, they really loaded the bowl up with lots of toppings. And for a great price. My only complaint was that the rice must've been stale because there were tiny hard bits that kept getting stuck in my teeth. However, I would still order again“
“The succulent nuggets, hearty and well-seasoned chicken tender, generously portioned and crispy fried pickles with delectable dipping sauce, and the swiftly devoured burger made for a delightful meal that delivered high-quality, delicious food without the exorbitant LA price tag.Nuggets: These weren’t just any nuggets; they were a revelation—so juicy and tender that each bite was a small celebration in itself.Chicken Tender: The tender was a standout, massive in size and rich in flavor, with a seasoning that nailed it. It was cooked to perfection, striking that elusive balance of being thoroughly cooked yet still sumptuously moist.Fried Pickles: The portion of fried pickles was generous, each one encased in a crispy, golden batter that crunched perfectly. The seasoning was spot-on, complemented by a dipping sauce that added just the right zing to these tangy morsels.Burger: It was devoured too swiftly for a detailed critique, but that speed-eating says it all—it was irresistible.Hot Motha Clucker has delivered a dining experience that's a breath of fresh air in the Los Angeles food scene. It's a joy to find a place that serves food delicious enough to feel like a splurge, without the hefty price tag that usually accompanies such culinary delights here. It’s a rarity to enjoy this caliber of dining at such fair prices, and it speaks to a genuine passion for food that goes beyond the trend of opening restaurants for the sake of it. It’s clear they're in it for the love of food, and it shines through in every mouth-watering bite.“
“We must have eaten here three times during our week's stay at Loews. The food on all occasions was of a high standard and tasty. Pizzas are superior to other well-known chain restaurants, and don't miss the red velvet cake! All the staff were great, friendly, and helpful, especially Jesse.“
“No clue how Mel's only has 3 stars... it was easy to find via GPS and was what we expected; Hollywood diner with basic breakfast staples at a good price. All of us enjoyed our food, unlimited coffee and the environment. Wait staff was nice and attentive and again we were very surprised at the affordable prices so close to Hollywood boulevard. The only thing that was weird was parking. There is a large parking lot right next to Mel's. There is a sign that states they validate parking but when we went in there the attendant said we had to do street parking. So, we parked in the street and used the meter which was fine but just a bit confused why we couldnt park in the parking lot and have it validated... anyhow, would recommend this place and will be back again!“
“The buffet was phenomenal. So many options; pancakes, French toast, omelets made on the spot, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, pastries and doughnuts. It was $34 per adult, $17 per child. A bit pricey if you don’t eat a lot, but I’m really glad we stopped by. Located on the upper level of the hotel.“
“Good place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is open 24 hours a day. which is very helpful. The service is good and the dishes are rich and rich. Without a doubt, nothing like an IHOP to enjoy some delicious pancakes in the morning. We had breakfast and dinner here a couple of times and always found it excellent.“
“I had dinner here last night and I was blown away. The Italian food was better than most Italian food places. I had a green salad that had a perfect dressing on it. I also had the gnocchi that was seasoned and prepared perfectly. The service from Chris was as good as it gets. My friends had 2 different pizzas and both of them were amazing. The Malbec and Cabernet wines were top notch. The experience was great and the food was far better than most hotel restaurants.“
“This was an incredible evening - from the welcome at the door, to the amazing service my our waiter- Matthew, the food was impeccable! I was so happy to not be disappointed by a restaurant on Hollywood Boulevard! The Buratta was outstanding - as was the tagliatelle bolognaise and the veal schnitzel! We asked about the history of the establishment and were well informed ?Just amazing ! Got to sit in Marilyn Monroes booth and Charlie Chaplin. Will definitely return when in LA!THANK YOU“
