It's a hidden gem and workers are super nice to accommodate you. I really enjoyed the Chicken Kabobs which were decently sized, juicy, and well-seasoned. Hummus pairs well with the falafel. The falafel surprisingly had less of bean/chickpea taste and more cilantro (?)Overall, definitely coming back whenever I'm down for some fresh chicken kabobs with a side of pita. “We are Greeks from Australia and we wanted to try this restaurant and WOW... The food is fresh, the quality is amazing and the taste is like we are eating in Greece... we are fussy eaters and with a family of chefs, we are critical of Greek restaurants and we were surprised. We had the fish from Greece and it was cooked exactly like it was done in Greece. The Saganaki was exceptional and the Prawn/Shrimp Saganaki was mouth watering. From the Octopus to the beets to the Greek salad and Mousaka...YUM! Give it a go and you won't be disappointed as it's obvious they use quality products and no seed oils... Olive oil used everywhere and it enhances the flavours and taste... we will be back.“

“They currently have a Friday falafel deal where you can get five pieces for only one dollar the staff are super nice and the falafel was honestly worth it for a dollar and it also came with some tahini sauce on the side which was pretty good.Although this is more of a grab and go place with no seating inside, you can sit outside and there's this grass nice area with good benches.“

“In town for the #expowest2024 show and decided to spend the weekend in Huntington, Beach. Looked up of lots of places and landed on The Black Trumpet…I’m in the food business and travel a lot, so when eating out it takes a high level of execution to really get me excited! This place absolutely exceeded my expectations on every level! We tried a little of everything, and we were blown away….filet empanadas were absolutely the best I’ve ever had hands down! From the first course to dessert with a nice port, we were just in love! Service was impeccable and atmosphere was just perfect! So glad we made the stop, and it will certainly be my go to next time I’m in town!“

“I've been going here since they've opened and this is by far the best Lebanese food around! It makes you feel like you've had a home-cooked meal the owner. Bruno was beyond nice and welcoming. “For a fast casual spot with price points under $20 per dish, this is a great quick lunch or dinner.I ordered the chicken kabob plate for $15.49 which is a great deal. The portion is large and I can eat 2 meals from one plate. The chicken was moist and juicy served with a large portion of rice plus hummus and tabouli or green salad with a warm pita bread. The house made red and green salas were really good too! Service was fast and friendly too! I'd definitely return for a quick lunch or dinner when I'm in the area!“

“Stopped here last week and ordered a Chicken Kebab plate, and the 2 roasted half chickens. Everything is delicious at this location. Bigger location to where you can enjoy outdoor and indoor dining, I have been coming here since they have opened. Feels good to have them in Orange County. Customer Service is good here. I live in Fountain Valley, and we will be back for more.“

Restaurant is always clean and there’s always more than a handful of people dining in. The food is cooked to order so I pretty fresh and it tastes great! Wait time for food is what you would expect and food always comes out hot.I suggest you stop by and give them a try…I think you’ll be happy you did.“

“Always good, reliable takeout Greek food. We get the gyro platters and it's nice that they have orzo instead of plain rice or even pilaf. The meat is pretty rich (aka don't come here thinking this is lean) and I wish they had baba ganoush, but it's an easy, inexpensive, and quick go-to spot.“
“Greek coffee was smooth and delicious. Perfect pick me up for brunch. Don't stir up the sludge! . Hostess and server were both friendly and welcoming. Parking can get busy, not enough spaces for all the tenants in the strip center. It was raining but we still really enjoyed sitting on the patio area under the heat lamp and watching the rain. Food is was made with fresh ingredients. I had the half chicken with Mediterranean salad and roasted vegetables. Great taste and plenty of food for one.“

After working in a Mediterranean restaurant and being around the culture my whole life I can honestly say eating at this restaurant you feel like family. I wish he had one closer to where I live.“
