Gave four stars due to there is no sign pointing in the direction of the restaurant. Navigation just says, arrived and out of the mini restaurants located in the same area. You have to figure out where this particular restaurant is located. Restaurant is located at the end of a fishing pier as you walk down people are catching and cleaning fish.Owner was very nice and attentive, food was really good, and is cooked to order. Incredibly grateful I wondered over here after walking a dog with wag! The restaurant is right at the end of imperial beach pier and very fresh delicious food! I got the ahi tuna sandwich which is new on the menu and ughhh ?? amazing! I’ll be back here for the food and the experience! I watched the sunset and ate food outside. Had a perfect time!

Hubs and I are visiting from Wyoming on our honeymoon. We came to the Tin Fish on our first and last night in San Diego. I would have left 5 stars but both times that we visited they were out of the lobster Mac n cheese. However, the clam chowder in the bread bowl was absolutely amazing both times I had it.
