“The staff is nice. The toppings are always kept clean and full. One thing I would recommend is more flavors, but other than that it's my favorite spot to go for a snack. I like to get pistachio yogurt with amaretto cherries , dark chocolate chips, and chopped almonds and walnuts. ?“

“I've had many açaí bowls from different spots and Roots & Rye just hits different. I loooooove that you can get not only the açaí blend but the matcha blend as well. Their portion size of each thing they add in the bowl is also perfect, not too much one one thing or another and there are definitely places that might overdo it on, say, the granola or the blended stuff. I've only been to this location so I can't speak for the other spots but at this one, they only let in a few people at a time which means a line can end up forming outside. I haven't had to deal with a long line before but it can definitely take some time to get everyone through and finally make it inside. Still, one of my favorite açaí places, if not my favorite!“

“This is a great place in the Japanese Village to get refresher that is healthy and tastes amazing without all the sugar additives. “Oakberry Açaí is very delicious! This location has a few tables to enjoy your açaí at inside the spot but mainly is good for takeout. The staff was nice. My favorite to get is the build your own açaí because you can choose which toppings to add into your açaí bowl. There's a bunch of different fruits, nuts and butters to add. The only thing I would say is that the bowls are kind of pricey... $14 for a classic... I would definitely come back again but sparingly because the price is steep for an açaí bowl.“

“We were actually down the street at courage bagel when I decided to take a walk break for the long wait at courage bagel and I'm glad that I did. This is a cute little café about a block down. It offers freshly brewed coffee, beverages, produce, fresh, squeezed juice, smoothies, toast, etc. I opted for a vanilla latte, Americano, and fresh squeezed tangerine juice. It's a tiny little inside with some seating on the outside, which is super cute. A good way to start off the morning or a good snack for later. The prices aren't that bad for this kind of thing. A few locations of this are around. It's got one in the Sunset Junction area with all the shops and everything. The bowls are the way to go. It's about $10 for an Açaí Bowl. This comes with bananas, berries, coconut, and granola. Basic toppings for a bowl. The other popular items include juices and smoothies. Also you can get a cup of fresh fruit. There's also snacks like protein bars and good stuff. Best place around here as far as the prices for açaí bowls. It's a pretty good portion. There's plenty to get for vegans and vegetarians.“

“I ordered a mango slushee & it was really good! It was sweet but not overly sweet. It also had that natural taste of mango to it which I really loved, as other places sometimes don't have that "real" taste. The service was also fast and quick. The person kept a positive and happy attitude throughout the time I was there, which made the ambiance much better. The "vibe" of the place is also pretty nice. “This is my FAVORITE smoothie bowl place in California. Saying that they are perfect is an understatement. Their fruit is beyond fresh, juicy, and sweet. Every time I visit Manhattan Beach, Paradise Bowls is a must-stop location for my friends and I. (As seen in the pictures below I've gone 3+ times and that shows how good they are). My favorite bowl here is the Peach Bum bowl, its ingredients are super well-curated and the fruits complement each other perfectly. The menu is pretty extensive and goes beyond just smoothie bowls. The prices are pretty affordable and typical for a smoothie bowl, around $10 for a size small. My photos feature the small size and there is still a pretty big portion despite its "small" labeling. The service is good, with staff being efficient. The bowls came out pretty quickly! The ambiance of the store is super cute, beachy, and has a surf shack vibe to it, perfect for the beach! The views right next to the store are extremely gorgeous featuring the Manhattan Beach coastline. This store is located close to the sand, where you can bring your bowls to picnic right next to the Pacific waves.“

They have a sign that says lobster mac & cheese, which has captured my attention for months. I finally had the opportunity to check it out. I walked in, it was really quiet. There wasn't anybody here which I was kind of surprised because it is near a college and a few high schools but I feel like the business probably picks up towards the evening. Very clean, which is always a good sign. They use a clover point of sale system. Imedela was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I still went with the lobster mac & cheese, which is what I wanted the whole time, I ordered the lobster mac & cheese so course it's a little pricey they do have some really cool looking sides like bacon jalapeño Mac bites, but I declined. So after I gave a tip, it's literally $30 for lobster mac & cheese. But what I want I have to have so I got the order to go. It took about seven minutes maybe give or take not sure I didn't keep my eye on the clock. I parked, and I'm waiting for my friend to come downstairs so I lift up the lid and it smells delicious. I take my first bite. The cheese pull the lobster. It was worth the wait so delicious I am ecstatic! Oh, I am in heaven this is absolutely delicious! YAY!!!! Imelda said that there is parking around the back. I didn't see where she was talking about but I guess you'd have to kind of go around the block and figure it out. The only thing that I can say that I did not like is their choice of utensil I like a heavier utensil. This is a Spork nothing wrong with a Spork but it's one of the flimsier ones. I would've liked to have had a heavier utensil that's my only issue other than that I will be back those bacon jalapeño mac & cheese bites are mine!!“

“This location is the closest from our house. My family and I visit this place at least once a week and most of the time there are people inside but the line is decent and the waiting period for your order isn't really long. I love boba in general and the variation of drinks they offer are delicious. They also offer french fries on the side which has at least 3 different flavors to choose from. I always get the cheddar cheese and it's absolutely good. The employees are very nice and friendly. The only thing negative about the location is the parking because the spaces are limited but other than that everything else is great.“
