“Pretty good food and service. Unfortunately nothing had any heat or kick. I'm thinking I got the white people treatment because I was also the only one that got a fork instead of chopsticks, but I had asked for spicy and barely got mild. Also don't bother with the lunch special soup, upgrade it to anything else because it's just a cup of hot cabbage water with a piece of unseasoned chicken.“

“The Food was super good we ordered pad Thai chicken, compao chicken, chicken dumplings, and chicken fried rice and it was really good but the reason why I gave it a 4 was because of really small portions and a little for the portion. If you are a big eater I suggest you order double.“

“Farmhouse kitchen is the best Thai restaurant I’ve ever had. On top of the food being great and delicious, the presentation makes you want to order everything from the menu. Chef Bo was so nice to come out to our table and all I can say is she was a very nice, young & talented person. She even made me a special dessert for my birthday. “Great views and yummy food. Menu is quite eclectic with an Asian and Middle Eastern twist. Our waitress Jambeth was nice and politely asked us when we sat down if we had a show at the Pantages. That was very thoughtful and much appreciated. As it was we were there for my birthday and so we were not in a rush and could enjoy the skyline and cuisine. Ordered the shrimp cocktail, chicken liver and charred carrot starter. Had Cacio & Pepe, Charmoula and Duck Confit as our main. Was given a complementary dessert as it was my birthday with a candle which was a lovely gesture. Would definitely go back for drinks on summer evening and enjoy the sunset.“

“Portions are very large so keep that in mind when ordering. The crab curry was delicious - you can get it de-shelled too which is quite helpful! The spice level is crazy spicy so a medium is whoa, hot. Moo ping (pork skewers) was too much pork for my boyfriend lol, which is never a thing!“

“Fun time at kinkan! We had the where are we going tasting menu which was cool to experience and learn anout each dish and how the chef came up with it. The head chef was not in town that day so the sous was serving us. The best dishes were the ama ebi, tuna tartare, and ceviche! All of the staff was very kind tooUnfortunately one of the items was substituted with bolognese which was disappointing (supposed to be uni pasta). And the fish and chips (amaida, matsutake) and crab fried rice was not impressive for this price point. Prices are super reasonable and the food tastes good, especially compared to some of the other options in the area. Excited to try more of their food. Chill music and good service. “I am Thai and I gotta say this place has the most authentic (and delicious) Thai food in the area. They’re called coffee shop but it’s nothing to do with cafe-like shop. This is a real Thai restaurant, run by Thai people. The dishes I ordered tasted like what they were in Thailand. The drinks are moderate sweet, which is exactly what I needed!! Servers are really nice. They played 2000s Thai songs. Great place for gatherings or solo dining! Price was great too! Totally recommend!“

My boyfriend placed our takeout order online tonight, Chinese Broccoli with Crispy Pork and Sweet and Sour Vegetables (with beef), both very delicious. When he arrived to pickup they kindly asked if he had made an error and were prepared to make the adjustment! “This is a must have every time I am in L.A.! The Khao Soi soup here is amazing and the fried dumplings are the best I’ve ever had! It’s a quaint little restaurant that gives a family vibe every time I visit. My first visit years ago was made special by Mrs. Kay, I was sad to hear that she was no longer working here during my last visit. “This restaurant is a gem of Thai restaurant in the Westchester area. The food is prepared in the traditional cuisine of Thai. I enjoyed my Pad Thai with large shrimps. The baby back ribs were tender with flavor. They did not disappointed us with our dinner. This small restaurant that has been in the same location for the past 2 decades. The customer service is superb! This is that restaurant where they remembered you from your last visit. I made reservations which is recommended for Friday and Weekend dining. We were seated right away! Jade is a wonderful server! She ask each of her guests if they had any food allergies. We enjoyed our food and cocktails ?. There is a neat patio with heater. There is plenty of free parking.“

“Compared to a few years back this street food spot has gained a few more food stalls to neighbor it. There is now a bbq meet place, a salad and fresh foods place and a dessert one. I got three plates, one pad Thai, one pork fried rice and one of their new ground pork with egg dish. Pad Thai is good as always, fried rice was lacking flavor as before but they have seasoning for you to use. Their ground pork with egg was so good but holy crap it was spicy. It did have a good spice though I recommend it.“

“Food: Ordered a Hainan Chicken set and a sprite. I originate from Malaysia. Our Ipoh chicken rice is slightly different from this dish but ever so slightly. Only difference is the sauce. Overall, sauce was great, chicken was nice and tender and perfect considering it's a Hainan Style dish. Rice was nice and firm, you could taste the chicken fat in every bite of the rice. (Extremely recommended to pour sauce over the chicken.) 10/10.Service: Not much to say about service, this place is kind of a small neighborhood type of restaurant. Cashier lady was nice and sweet. 7/10.Atmosphere: The atmosphere was perfect, felt like I was back in asia with the random seats, different color tables and chairs from home. 8/10.Cashier speaks Thai for any Thai customers.Kap Khun Krap, Heng Heng for bringing back memories from my home country. “I grew up in a Thai household and the food here is very much authentic! The Thai northern sausage “sai oua” (ไส้อั่ว) is made fresh and is soooo delicious! ? It is difficult to find a Thai restaurant that makes this dish fresh, not frozen.The atmosphere is very humble and the restaurant space is small, but I don’t mind at all. They have a lot of choices for takeout food.“

“Food was AMAZING... We actually wanted to stay and order more food and dessert. But the waiting staff was horrific in their services. They didn't bring our food out together... nor the tables around us. Our dishes were practically locked clean the food was good.. but our dirty dishes sat in front of us for nearly 30 minutes before anyone ever checked on us. They never refilled any kf our drinks. Might come back for the food one day but this was quite the buzz kill for our experience here.“

“We’ve been to many, many Thai restaurants in LA and this one is about to become our favorite! We had 3 dishes and they all were absolutely delicious. The satay chicken appetizer was the best one we ever had. You gotta try it. The vegetarian papaya salad was so good with just the right level of hotness we asked for and the chow menu with tofu was so delicious we licked it off the plate. Service was excellent and the place is warm and fun to be in. Highly recommended ❤️“

“Came here during a weekday around lunch time. Service was quick and kind. I had the khao soi and it hit the spot. Broth was flavorful and it had the right amount of noodles and meat. Lots of steady foot traffic from people that seemed to me on their lunch breaks so you know it's a good spot. Check it out for some good Thai food!“

“The most authentic Thai restaurant we have found in LA! Very close to what you'll experience in Thailand. We ordered the Som Tum, Tom Yum soup, pumpkin curry, Pad Thai, Eggplant, Hot Basil with tofu (probably a bit more plain than we expected), Pad Woon Sen (most SoCal Thai restaurants botch it, but Chao Krung Thai masterfully presented a perfect, dry, fried version) and mango sticky rice. I would come back again in a heartbeat. Among the cons are difficult parking, slow service and very dark interior.“

“It was my first time dining at Thai Central. It is a gem in East Hollywood for a Thai food. The food is very tasty. We ordered a few things, Kao Clook Ka phi, Boat noodle, and Papaya salad - the was delicious. And awesome service - from getting our order in and getting the food from the kitchen to our table. I like the cleanliness of the restaurant. We dropped the lid of something on the floor , and the server took the lid from us, he cleaned it and brought it back - impressive. “I came to this place on a Thursday afternoon and let me tell you: I am a huge enthusiast of Thai food but it gets harder and harder by the day to pick up one spot that is above all of the others. This place is a strong contender for that first place, though: it has it all, reasonable prices, great food, amazing service and chill ambiance. The server was a woman with short hair and glasses who truly went above and beyond for us (I should have asked for her name but I forgot). Everything, including non-traditional items like fried shrimp cake was just cooked to perfection. It all came out quickly and piping hot. Parking was fantastic too. You can even street park by the 99 cents store and walk a little bit. Highly-recommended place!“

“We came on a Sunday, it is somewhat busy. The location has a few small Thai stands. We ordered the mango sticky rice coconut cakes and green onion coconut cakes. They are $10 ( each has around 8 pieces ).The coconut cakes are sweet , creamy and flavorful, they made it right in front of you so they come out warm. The mango is sweet and not sour so we are satisfied. Remember to bring cash cause they accept cash & zelle. After they take your order, they give you a ticket and they make your food. You just need to bring that ticket to get your food.The wait is around 25 minutes for the food, and there are 3 long tables next to the stand so you can eat there. We walk around the Thai grocery store across the coconut cake stand when waiting for food.It is a nice place to experience some Thai coconut cakes! Would recommend this place.“

“Oh my god. I don't normally leave reviews but I just ordered delivery from here and I had to. This is the best Thai food I've had in LA. Period. I got the Pad See Ew (See You Again, for sure), Basil Crispy Chicken Wings and Thai Iced Tea. SO GOOD. The Pad See Ew is so flavor packed. The beef and noodles are cooked to perfection, I LOVE the way the tofu is cooked. I am so picky about tofu, this is perfectly fried and sized, crispy on the outside and not dry on the inside. AMAZING. I LOVE LOVE LOVE vinegar chili and am soooooooo happy these came with the dish on the side, definitely ordering extra next time! The chicken wings are SO crispy and flavorful. Holy cow. Thai iced tea not too sweet or too milky, literally perfect. Compliments to the chef!!! I've tried every Thai place and had given up on finding anything that is worth ordering.
