I’ve eaten here a few times throughout 2022, and I just resumed eating here. The food is delicious, HOWEVER… I am vegetarian and I beginning to think they cook the Egusi WITH the meat and maybe remove it only when “no meat” is requested. I’ve found small pieces of bone in my Egusi stew… making me unable to finish the rest. This restaurant Veronica’s kitchen is a place where you want to call ahead for your order.I called at 11 o’clock and my order was ready and waiting at 2 PM when I arrived. I selected the jollof rice with plantains and okra soup no meat.The rice and plantains were good.Unfortunately the Okra soup was disgusting ?.I had to dispose it. Reason being, there was a strange taste in the soup as if the okra was rancid or cooked beyond repair.I will continue to look for a restaurant...read full review
