“I have been lucky enough to eat at Vaca a few times a year for the last few years. In that time, I’ve been able to sample a fairly large portion of their menu. Not once have I been disappointed. The amount of flavor found in each dish is amazing. There are tapas for every palate, the embutidos and quesos that are available are stunning, the paellas are perfect for sharing, and the steaks are out of this world!“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Seville Restaurant and Tapas Grill with my husband, and it was truly exceptional, thanks to our waitress, Tee N. Her warm welcome and genuine hospitality set the tone for our entire experience. The ambiance of the restaurant transported us to a Spanish-style micro vacation, with its seaside decor and cozy fire pits. Tee N went above and beyond, offering thoughtful recommendations and even arranging a special mocktail for me, the Tamarindo Margarita, which was refreshingly delightful. We opted for the "dividida - any two paellas* cooked in one pan" option and savored the traditional paella valenciana and the black seafood paella—truly the best choice ever! The paella was a culinary delight, with tender seafood, crispy pork belly, and perfectly cooked rice that provided the perfect bite. The addition of crispy pork belly added a delightful contrast to the dish, providing a savory richness that complemented the seafood beautifully. Each grain of rice absorbed the flavors of the seafood broth and aromatic spices, creating a flavorful base that tied the dish together. The spicy octopus ceviche was a standout, and the Basque cheesecake was a delightful treat with its delicate decorations. Tee N's kindness and care made the evening truly memorable, lifting our spirits despite some unfortunate news. Seville Restaurant and Tapas Grill exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to returning for more wonderful cuisine. Thank you, Tee, for an unforgettable dining experience.“
“I am really sad to hear writing this review. I had just booked our reservation to visit Tortilla Jo’s on a visit to Disneyland when I found out it would be our last time eating there. Our young family just recently started visiting Disneyland or a regular basis and one of our favorite traditions over the last three years has been to eat at this location on the night we arrive. We love the guacamole and I am particularly found of the Mole Enchiladas. We will miss this tradition of good Mexican food and pretty reasonable price for the Disney area. I know the New Mexican restaurant is about to open and I can tell from my research that it will not be a place I can afford to take my family to in order to continue our tradition. Thanks for the Memories Tortilla Jo’s!“
“What a great spot. The inside is cozy and comfortable with a great views of the kitchen at work. I sat at the bar and watched the action. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the wine list was decent with an option to please everyone. The food menu had some of the best variety of tapas I'd seen in a while. It was hard to only order five things! You will spend a bit but it's worth every penny to try so many wonderful dishes. I don't eat gluten and I had no trouble finding safe options.“
“Everything is delicious. Food from Filet Mingnon Medallions to a plate of Black Beans and Rice. There is something for everyone.I suggest starting with an appetizer of Mozzarella Provincial and a Materva or an Espresso to drink. Followed by one of there home made soups. On Fridays they serve the best Fish soup you could have. For the main course have your way with the menu. Our favorites are the Chicken Empajador, the Medallions of Filet Mingnon and the Beans and Rice with a side of the Creamed Spinach. You will be greeted with a plate of bread and butter when you choose a seat inside or out. If you have room the Chocolate Cake or Flan are certain to fill you up. Love this place for its food, prices, casual atmosphere and the very pleasant staff.“
“I’m just visiting Mission Viejo and found this place on google. Wow, I was surprised at how good the food is here! They hit all the flavor profiles! And freaking large portions!! I’d definitely come back here! Service was great as well!“
“This was a lovely experience! We celebrated our anniversary here on a Saturday night and, from start to finish, enjoyed our food, as well as every member of the staff we interacted with. Every single dish we tried was delicious, too. The only thing I would change about the meal was opting to eat inside instead of outside, as the outside was more of a lounge setting. And that was still a nice setting! Just depends what you're looking for.“
“This place is so good! Hubby and I split the nachos loaded, and with pork. We had street corn as a side. It was very busy but we didn't wait long. There is limited seating. Very reasonable prices. We are excited to still be here for Tuesday and their taco Tuesday special.“
“Every time I come to Miguel's there is always someone smiling and willing to help . Tonight Jacob helped me and my family and he did it with such a smile and even brought our food out . I always recommend everyone to come out and try Miguel's . Forever a fan .“
“Ordered from Kiko's on Doordash because I was a little lazy to drive the other day, so please keep in mind that my review is based off of food that had made a 15 minute journey before being eaten! When I heard a new Filipino joint was opening in Irvine, I was ecstatic! There are practically no Filipino joints in Irvine -- if you have that craving you need to drive to Lake Forest or a city more north. It's very nice to now have something in my own city to satisfy that Filipino fix when I am too lazy to cook. As a Filipino myself, I understand that Filipino food can taste extremely different depending on who cooks it. The different regions of the Philippines all cook the same dishes in different ways. Therefore, you should never expect a dish from one restaurant to taste the same at a different restaurant. I ordered the kare-kare, which is my favorite Filipino dish. Their rendition of this creamy peanut dish was pretty good, but not my favorite. The ox-tail was perfectly cooked, but the veggies were overcooked and soggy. The flavor of the sauce was delicious, however I wish they gave more sauce. I particularly didn't like the bagoong (shrimp paste). I'm not sure which kind they use, but if you have some bagoong at home (as most Filipinos do), then I'd recommend to use your own. One thing I'd like to note is that the portions are on the smaller side here. It's definitely only enough for one person, so don't expect to share one meal. However, I think the prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. I will definitely be giving Kiko's other menu items a try in the future!“
