“The owners at Van Dyke are so friendly. I visited at the recommendation of a friend. It's located in a business complex, and parking is paid, but they validate. Some of the drinks are named after their regulars, which is what we ordered. I love strawberry-chocolate anything, so Spencer's was right up my alley. Inki's was really good too. There's so much room for seating, and I love the ambiance--it's so open. It was great to stay and study. We also were given a cookie on the house, which was enormous and took me days to eat (but it stayed perfectly good). We will be back!!“
“It just doesn’t get any better than this. I’m telling you, it’s the best ramen in America. The tonkatsu broth is cooked for 24 hours and you can taste the depth of flavor in every bite. The crispy chicken is a perfect starter. Served fresh and hot and super crispy. Edamame is fantastic as well as the pork buns. They add the tip on the total, So be careful not to double tip the server. (Unless you want to!) Strip mall has free parking, but the entire area is busy, so you may have trouble finding a spot.“

After being informed their most popular flavors are something with Oreo, I ordered the Coffee Oreo and Birthday Cake ice creams (I ordered both in a small cup). No wonder Oreo is the most popular as both flavors were full of large Oreo chunks. The ice cream was flavorful and had a great coffee and cake flavor. Note they do not offer samples, but from what I saw, I’m not sure you could go wrong!“

“I've been craving a good fish & chips place, and this popped up in my search.I started with the normal fish & chips combo, and I was incredibly pleased. The fries are nice and crispy, well seasoned, and fresh. The 2 pieces of fish were nice and meaty and well battered, not over saturated and overtly crispy. The tartar sauce was probably the best I've had. I also tried the onion rings, and there pretty pretty good and crispy.I did come back later to try the shrimp po boy and fish po boy sandwich. It's the best po boy sandwich I've had. The bread was incredibly soft and delicious. The shrimp was pretty big and nicely battered. And the tartar sauce spread was just amazing.I did order in person, and the staff was very friendly.I wish this place was in a different location. “Angelina's is absolutely delightful and delicious! There's a lot of good food in Irvine, but this is a spot I definitely want to go back to. My chicken entree was some of the best cooked chicken I've ever had; it was a huge cut that was succulent and juicy. I was a bit worried about it being flavorless since I got the Calabrese sauce on the side, but even without it the taste was decadent. The salumi board and cheeses were also a hit, as was the burrata. I definitely stuffed myself with cheese and do not regret it in the slightest. I will say my drink wasn't the most exciting, but for one drink I definitely felt like there was a good amount of alcohol in it. Service, especially with drunks was also a little bit slow and they were bringing out drinks 1-2 at a time, but we had a large party on a week night and it looked like the bar only had one worker so it wasn't a big deal, I am understanding of that! All in all I really liked this spot and want to try more of their menu.“

The name on the receipt indicates our cashier's name was Mel - he was fantastic, very personable & friendly. We would go back for him. I was kinda confused because they handed us 4 copies of the same menu LOL. We ordered the biscuits and gravy and the sweet heat cutlet. The friend that I was with said the biscuits and gravy were super good. I didn't try them because they really aren't my thing in general. I had the sweet heat cutlet. The chicken was cooked so perfect. However, the cheese did nothing for me except add a strange gamey texture. I ended up pulling it off as best I could. All of their sauces are homemade. Their ranch was super yummy. Overall the food and service were good and the ambiance is super trendy and whatnot but it was honestly a little overpriced. We got 2 entrees and 2 drinks and it was nearly $100 bucks. Not sure if we will be back.“

“The flavor of the rice balls was so good. The only this is that the rice wasn’t very sticky. I got a shrimp rice ball (pictured) and kbbq beef rice ball (not pictured). My boyfriend ended up just getting the crab rice ball (pictured). The kbbq beef rice ball ended up falling apart unfortunately and was really hard to eat. The other two stayed in tact for the most part, but we could definitely feel them start to fall apart while eating. The little market place that Ricebunn is located in is very cute though. There’s a few other small restaurants around it and some seating as well.“
“I was invited to their soft opening and went last night with a few friends. It's a new late night spot with small bites and drinks. Customer service was on point! Ron does an amazing job catering to clientele and providing great hospitality. He is truly interested in making sure customers are happy and open to ideas for any improvements! Drinks were good and strong. We had the Japanese old fashioned and lychee martini. Best part was it was buy one get one free! My favorite food was the wagyu and blue crab hand roll. It was a cool concept, they did a "reverse" hand roll and I especially loved that part because the nori was nice and crispy. Very innovative! Can't wait to return and try more of the menu items. They are going to incorporate bar food in the future and can't wait to see how it comes along. Also, they had good music selection!!!!“

“Don't let the address of the cafe fool you, while it says Spectrum and you may think it is a cafe in the Spectrum mall, it's just across in the nearby Parks apartment community. It is a really cute cafe with a European feel to it. I'm sure children will love it, as well as adults who crave Nutella anything. Their menu offers everything from coffee, hot chocolate, waffles, crepes, chocolate covered fruits and savory items like flat breads and a beef burger. Ordering was easy via a large iPad. The people working there were great too and were quick to give us recommendations and also tips on where to park the next time. Parking is available around the cafe and if that is full, you can park in the visitor spots inside the community's parking garage. On to the food, what can I say, how can anyone complain about Nutella? To mix things up, I ordered their crepe with half Nutella, half Biscoff and with strawberries. A very good decision, I must say. The Biscoff was definitely a good surprise. As if I didn't have enough Nutella, I went ahead and ordered the Nutella hot chocolate. It was interesting in a good way. I fully expected a hot chocolate with a hazelnut flavor, but there's actual Nutella in it. My husband ordered the chicken flatbread and liked it but he was swiping at my sweet treats more often than I liked. Overall, a good experience and I would definitely come back again when I am craving crepes.“

“Just went here for the first time last weekend. The atmosphere was amazing. We got to sit on the couch which was comfy and spacious. The food was good, especially the bruschetta! There are about 12 different types to get. The iced tea was one of the best I have had, which sounds like an odd thing to say but when you try it you'll understand why. The Happy Hour prices are unmatched, best I have ever seen. Sadly couldn't partake this time but I will absolutely will be coming back soon.“
