“Quick meal the day before with little “brioche” stuffed with cheese and ham, experience repeated the next morning for breakfast. Coffees with its top almond milk variant, it's a change from the usual American coffees. Delicious coconut pastry. “Acai” bowl very good but I would have appreciated it being noted that it was a “smoothie sorbet”, not translated into English. Not ideal for the morning. The fruit salads served to the neighbor were tempting.Brazilian cuisine to try. Refined and tastefully decorated.“

“One65 was an amazing discovery on our trip to San Francisco. Having spent the first half of our life in Montréal, Québec, Canada where it was hard to find a bad restaurant, we were absolutely amazed by this Bistro which looks more like a high end dining experience. The menu online & the photos attracted us to this location but we were amazed by the well timed service, the crisp white tablecloths, the table setting and the pleasant and calm atmosphere. My choices of charcuterie platter was perfectly sized; the chicken & the pork rillettes where a wonderful surprise. My husband had an onion tart with the crust as perfect as they get & which I envied. He loved his halibut, moist and tender and I raved over my grilled half lobster, so tender that I found myself munching on the shell parts as well. My bread pudding was not of overwhelming size & perfectly flavored. Don chose the Affogato (scoop of vanilla gelato « drowned » with a shot of hot espresso). We wanted to go back today but they are closed on Sundays.?“

“I'm obsessed with Mother Tongue coffee beans, been buying them from Seattle Coffee Gear at Stanford. I also found them at the SF Coffee Festival last year. I finally went to their cafe in Oakland and it was interesting, it is more of a bar than a coffee shop. Maybe this is a happening bar after work? The decorations are random and nothing like I was expecting (streamers everywhere, Cartoon Network projected on wall, and current hits playing over the loud speaker). They do have a seating area outside too.They don't have a menu/drink board. I happen to look up their menu online before we arrived but didn't realize the paper menus were near their payment system till afterwards. Because of this, we forgot they even served food other than pastries-we probably would have purchased.We had a latte, coffee tonic, apple fritter, and we bought two bags of beans. Everything was delicious and we would go again.“

“Went here today for a late brunch and it was absolutely delicious. Had the Ethiopian Breakfast combo and it came with a variety of different items, all delicious. The iced latte was also amazing. It was a tad bit pricey, but it was good quality and good portions.Will definitely make a visit back here soon and try their lunch options.“

“If you find yourself looking for a breakfast/brunch spot, come here! My dad has been coming here for awhile and I was in town visiting him so we we went to grab some brunch. Located just a little ways from fisherman's wharf it's a quick walk to get here. Ambiance and service: We were greeted by David the owner and his son Darren and chose to sit inside. They've got some seating inside and some outside for when the weather is nice. Everything is nice and clean and you can see into the kitchen so you know the food is made fresh to order. Our order was taken quickly and food came out quickly! Food: Their menu ranges from classic American breakfast, Chinese and Vietnamese food, and sandwiches. I ordered pho and a Vietnamese coffee and my dad ordered french toast with eggs and bacon. I've had a lot of pho in different parts of the US so I'm picky about my pho and this is hands down one of the most flavorful pho broths I've ever had. Good size portion with all the regular pho fixings. My dad always orders one of two things: french toast or chicken fried steak and according to him, both are delicious but I had the pleasure of of trying the french toast this time. It was cooked to perfection and not overdone in the batter or flavors. Overall, I'm glad I got to eat here. From the service, to the food, I enjoyed every bit of it. I can't wait to bring friends here and enjoy more meals with my dad!“

“I was killing time in the neighborhood, so decided to try Jerusalem coffee. I ordered a orange blossom latte. I really like it. I had to go with whole milk, but the flavor was very good. Could definitely taste the orange blossom. Unfortunately, they don't have decaf so I had to take a chance. he did offer me a single shot, I like my coffee strong. The service was good. The ambience is casual.“

“This place could be hard to find but what you need to know that it's located inside an office building. You walk in and it's pretty tiny but you can tell that there's something special about this place. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich to my liking and I thoroughly enjoyed my custom sandwich. It was prepared well and was very tasty. The only criticism I would have is that the amount protein in the sandwich could have been much more. But despite that, I finished the whole sandwich and was fully satisfied. Definitely felt more like a homemade sandwich, which I enjoyed.“

“Me and Jungle Cafe is one of the hidden treasures of this part of Oakland. The ambiance indoors is very cozy and cute and wonderfully decorated, and outdoors there is a fantastic back patio with wonderful plants and even a little greenhouse you can eat in. Food offerings include high quality cafe fare, some select brunch dishes like the excellent smoked salmon avocado toast, and also their signature rice wraps- like a fresh Vietnamese spring roll overstuffed with greens and different ingredients. “A much-needed eatery in SOMA! With the loss of Cafe Centro, Cafe Buenos Aires is a wonderful addition to the South Park area. This affordable lunch spot is perfect for office workers in the area. Two empanadas are about $10-$15. Plus, the restaurant itself is very walkable--3 minutes from South Park, 6 minutes from Oracle Park, and 8 minutes from the Cal Train Station. Although there is a good amount of indoor seating, I would recommend ordering to-go and eating at South Park. The empanadas taste great with some good selections. They also offer coffee and other Argentinian treats.“

“Was so excited to see there was a new brunch place in Berkeley and even more excited that it’s something outside of the standard brunch food items! The food was AMAZING! Really big portion sizes, too. The Thai Beignets came with condensed milk but the real star of the show were the pork jowls. The pork sausage was also good, it was a little dry for my taste but maybe that’s just how they’re made. The location was so cute, I couldn’t get over how nicely decorated it was, and the staff were very sweet and attentive. The only thing that is missing in my opinion is Thai iced coffee on the menu! “Came here for a quick bite for my kid before camp and after the eclipse! What a hidden little gem!!! Not a place to come and sit and eat. It is a TO GO place but there is one little table with two chairs. The couple are so amazing, welcoming, and caring!!! The food is delish and ready to go in just seconds! My daughter got the half teriyaki chicken and we got two orders of gyoza. The total was $12!!!! Then because they are so sweet they gave me a small sample of their beef curry. It has a little to good kick depending on your threshold for spice but the flavor is really good and the beef is super tender!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you stop by!!!“

“It was my first try trying chai at a specialty place (I'm going to assume Starbucks chai latte doesn't count). The staff were super nice and happy to navigate me through the menu. I tried the tiger spice chai and it was delicious - very complex flavors and not too spicy. I hope that the indoor space opens up soon - this seems like a great place to hang out with friends or study. Can't wait to go explore the rest of the menu.“
