“If you are going to LabCorp on Solano and you have to fast, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND stopping into this place to get a breakfast sammy after your blood draw is over. Friendly service, no wait, and a tasty egg sandwich at a reasonable price. I've been shopping and dining on Solano since I was a teenager and I had never clocked this place, but I am so glad I did. Just me, a quiet magazine, breakfast, and glad to be done with my blood draw. The perfect combo. Thanks for the great sandwich!“

I like that there are a number of power outlets situated on the bench seating as well -- perfect for long work session. Though I did not try any of the food, the staff was nice, the atmosphere was quiet enough to focus, and Wi-Fi was fast (note: if you have either T-Mobile or AT&T as your cell phone carrier, you will not have great service in this area, so definitely connect to the Wi-Fi over trying to tether).“

Royal Ground Coffee Coffee Shops • $
1127 Solano Ave, Albany

“This is the only coffee shop in Albany that’s open before 8am. For that reason, I really appreciate them and will come back. Don’t expect a craft latte here , however. The milk is over frothed, temperature brought up too high, and there’s simply too many choices on the menu for anything to be perfected here. However, for a quick coffee before an early morning job this place hits the spot. The service was friendly and they opened right on time. A great little neighborhood coffee spot.“

“I'm obsessed with Mother Tongue coffee beans, been buying them from Seattle Coffee Gear at Stanford. I also found them at the SF Coffee Festival last year. I finally went to their cafe in Oakland and it was interesting, it is more of a bar than a coffee shop. Maybe this is a happening bar after work? The decorations are random and nothing like I was expecting (streamers everywhere, Cartoon Network projected on wall, and current hits playing over the loud speaker). They do have a seating area outside too. They don't have a menu/drink board. I happen to look up their menu online before we arrived but didn't realize the paper menus were near their payment system till afterwards. Because of this, we forgot they even served food other than pastries-we probably would have purchased. We had a latte, coffee tonic, apple fritter, and we bought two bags of beans. Everything was delicious and we would go again.“

“MAN, OMG! This is our NEW order-from/hangout place. NOT ONLY is the owner VERY FRIENDLY, KIND & HELPFUL but the FOOD is EXCELLENT (KUDOS to the Kitchen Chef whom customers often NEGLECT/FORGET about congratulating/commending in PERSON!). VERY VERY EXCELLENT (TOP NOTCH!) tuna sandwich! This place KNOWS what they're doing!!! And, NOT too many places know HOW to make a GREAT-TASTING tuna salad! Many either put TOO much mayonnaise or make it TOO dry. Places also tend sometimes to use brand/suppliers of tuna which tastes TOO FISHY!!! However, NOT SO AT ALL here, at Jebena Cafe! Their (female) cook makes a REAL "BOMB" (THE Bomb!) of a tuna sandwiches we've tasted in a LONG time (&, TRUST us! We've tasted tuna sandwiches in MANY-a-PLACES before!). This place makes one of the BEST ! NOT too salty; NOT too creamy; BOT too dry! JUST well-balanced good-fish taste with very FRESH & CRUNCHY lettuce & JUST RIGHT, well-toasted slices of bread!!! This sandwich ALWAYS gets even a HIGHER-MARKUP/"upgrade" when you ADD their SLICED HARD-BOILED egg to it!!! Their avocado toast is ALSO WONDERFUL-highly recommended (we always order BOTH the TUNA but ALSO, the AVOCADO toast & combine them, eating one half of each then, are left with the 2 other halves to go/for later (except that one must remember that avocado tends to darken if/when not eaten fresh)!!! Finally, their MOCHA & LATTE are great!!!“

We came after lunch at about 1pm and it was quiet. Most had their laptops and were doing work. My friend and I were at the bar jibber jabbering.Steven was the bartender and not only was he a great mixologist, but he had really good recommendations. This is one of those kinds of places where you want to try their specialty drinks. Don’t do your usual stuff. I am picky and only like drinks served up so Steven asked me a few questions before making a recommendation. We had three drinks each, a cookie and beef jerky before leaving.Parking is easy and there’s plenty. Park, use the machine and grab your receipt. FYI, parking machine says to add your cell so they can forewarn you 15 minutes before your time ends; that DOES NOT WORK. Make sure you keep an eye on the time which we did.Awesome new spot (for me) and will be back!“

Located just a little ways from fisherman's wharf it's a quick walk to get here. Ambiance and service: We were greeted by David the owner and his son Darren and chose to sit inside. They've got some seating inside and some outside for when the weather is nice. Everything is nice and clean and you can see into the kitchen so you know the food is made fresh to order. Our order was taken quickly and food came out quickly! Food: Their menu ranges from classic American breakfast, Chinese and Vietnamese food, and sandwiches. I ordered pho and a Vietnamese coffee and my dad ordered french toast with eggs and bacon. I've had a lot of pho in different parts of the US so I'm picky about my pho and this is hands down one of the most flavorful pho broths I've ever had. Good size portion with all the regular pho fixings. My dad always orders one of two things: french toast or chicken fried steak and according to him, both are delicious but I had the pleasure of of trying the french toast this time. It was cooked to perfection and not overdone in the batter or flavors. Overall, I'm glad I got to eat here. From the service, to the food, I enjoyed every bit of it. “Well besides the fact that you can drink in this museum… ya just can’t ask for “cheese & crackers” just anywhere and actually get a wedge from the wheel of cheese and get this.. actual real life crackers! Not those BS square ones in the packet. That’s not even real cheese in those!“

“Cute place located inside a parking garage. Look for the Wells Fargo to enter - very close to Union Square and sandwiches you will remember. They are great about customizing there as well - I got the black bean vegetarian sandwich and I'm still remembering it months later! Check out the unique KitKat selection there - flavors like churro and birthday cake KitKats!Vegetarian options: Excellent black bean vegetarian sandwich and they customize with the bread and spreads!“

“Ordered the Shake your bahn bah sandwich which comes with a mixed salad, was well made and delicious. Bread was toasted beautifully! Also ordered the shrimp po-boy wrap, which also came with a mixed salad. Wrap was ok, should've substituted the wrap for bread as in the banh banh, would have been much tastier. The salad was great, really liked the house dressing.“

“Very tasty! Breakfast with grab and go option. The place is quite small, so there is not much space to eat in the establishment. The food is good, cheap and comes out quickly! We grabbed a bagel, a blueberry muffin, a cappuccino and a hot chocolate and went to eat at Union “
