“I had to try this place after getting a few people on NextDoor to recommend it. The place looks totally brand new inside. There's a nice size patio on 2 sides of the establishment. Even the bathrooms were in good condition. I was greeted by a bartender and offered a drink after coming inside from the taco truck. They dont seem to serve food here, so it's good to have a local food truck to bridge the gap. I ordered a coors light first, then followed up with a shot of whiskey from Woodford Reserve. It was a nice sized shot, so I really appreciated this. I gave my self some time to let it wear off as I was warned that there's a big police presence around this bar. Dont risk getting a DUI.I played some of my own tunes on the digital jukebox. I took some pics (that came out terribly), but was still fun to have the option.Parking is good as there are open fields nearby, parking along the side, and street parking.Overall, this would be a good place if there were more availability of uber and taxi. Since they dont serve food, it makes this place a very risky choice to drink. “Stop by to try this place out after hanging out in the area. I love Italian food so I thought why not. Best decision I ever made. The pasta was so fresh, the sauce and meatballs were so flavorful. If I ever went to Italy I would have imagined that the food and atmosphere would be just the same. The service was absolutely amazing as well. Definitely a must try Italian restaurant in Brentwood.”

“I visited Sun Bistro today because my daughter loves sushi. Tony is the best, great personality, and very attentive. And the food is excellent. Very fresh. Great Atmosphere. They stay open late and it does not affect the quality of their food or their customer service. In this area, this is the absolutely best sushi or rolls that you will find. When I came I literally ordered a roll that wasn’t on the menu it’s something I made up, it was absolutely no problem and it was amazing.”

“Had lunch here for the first time today. Food was amazing. I would recommend their milkshakes, they have a whole variety of different flavors you can mix together. What really made this experience stand out to me was the excellent customer service. More specifically from our server Rachel. She did an excellent job making us feel welcomed and heard. “I’m embarrassed to say that it took me this long to pop in and try out this amazing place. My business is literally one block over from theirs. But, as business owners, we tend to cut and run when our day is finally done. Anywho, this place is amazing! Such a warm atmosphere and the staff were fun and super helpful. Since I was a fish out of water, their staff went out of their way to show me what they had that I may like. That was awesome because I’m a pain in the butt! I don’t drink beer. At all… Never have… my hubby does and that’s all that matters and if they carry wine for me, which they do, I’m good too! We had a great time meeting with friends there. “This is my go to place. I have had some delicious Burgers. But Hd remains consistent the stove is friendly the food comes out quick and hot and the pricing is very fair. I'm always greeted with a friendly face. The inside it pretty much standard I love all the plants it's laid back it the local neighbors burger joint . I have not had a bad burger yet.”

We came up from the peninsula on our way to our boat in the Delta and stopped for breakfast at the Black Bear Restaurant in Oakley. The restaurant was in tip-top shape, well taken care of and managed, food was absolutely yummy, and Veronica had a smile on her face during our entire visit. She was just exceptional and spectacular! “The first thing I noticed when I walked in was all the decorations. The decor with the music playing made it a very pleasant experience. Their menu had a lot to offer, all of which sounded good. I went with the BBQ plate and the gyoza, which was enough food for two people and only about $25. Not to mention the food came out very quickly. The shrimp Fajitas are amazing, the owners always make us feel welcome and do not put restrictions on chips & salsa like The other place . no oil or greasy food here! Rice & guacamole, homemade salsa! Ruben's mole- the best I've ever had. We make our own requests for shrimp nachos and they have no problems filling it to make us happy. So sad to not have them on Monday. Ugh makes me appreciate Tuesday even more ! The chicken soup when you're feeling under the weather is a sure fire cure. I recommend this place #1”

“It's in the same parking lot as a gas station which made it nondescript upon arriving. There's a few waiting chairs inside and a table outside to sit. The restroom is a porter potty so not the most luxurious experience. Customer service was super friendly and quick! We only stumbled upon this place after exploring the trail at Clifton Court Forebay and wanted something close by. I had 0 expectations but wow!!!!! Ordered the beef tongue taco and menudo and got several types of salsa and the order came with a free bag of chips. The chips are my favorite kind to get at mexican restaurants. Super crunchy and tasted freshly made. The beef tongue taco looked small at first and the tortillas were very soggy but the tongue itself was so good!! I enjoy beef tongue but at restaurants sometimes they over season it or chop it too small but these were cut to the perfect size and just tasted high quality and really good. The menudo was honestly one of the best menudo's I have had. The broth was AMAZING, just a squeeze of lime and I could drink that broth all the time. The pig stuff seemed to be a mix of tripe and trotters/feet. Very simple soup but the pig organs were also chopped to a nice size. Sometimes restaurants put huge chunks which makes it hard to chew and eat. This tiny hole in the wall next to a gas station was definitely worth it. I am not even the biggest fan of mexican food but I would definitely come back!”
